That is incorrect. Connecticut produces about 36.1 TWh of electrical energy annually, with 47% from nuclear power and 46% from natural gas. Only 2% comes from coal.

Regardless of how unpopular the war was you should not have been criticized and mocked when you returned. My brother-in-law was a medevac pilot. He opposed the war but wanted to help others. He received a Silver Star and Distinguished Service Cross and was not jeered since he did not return home.

Americans don’t need charity, they need to be paid fairly for their productivity. A dock worker exerts more than you, but you collect hundreds of thousands from taxpayers and he barely makes enough to feed and house himself.
