That article is hilarious. Sounds like the author, Thomas Richards and his March for Science are finding out climate change is NOT considered science by the left. It’s just another, how did he put it, leftist social justice cause. He’s right. All these marches and rallies are is just a big clusterfuck for leftists, anti American activists, communists, socialists and anarchists to riot and destroy things other people worked and paid for then go home, smoke a joint and screw. They couldn’t care less about climate change or anything else except hate for America.

I guess the scientists are finally waking up to the fact that as long as they are associated with all kinds of leftist causes their “science” means nothing. Political rallies are not “science”. It’s all a big, fat fuckin’ fake. Why else would 20 year old kids with zero experience, zero knowledge and zero expertise in science buy into this garbage? Oh, and old Skinsuit wearing idiots. They are the only people DUMB enough to believe an unproven scientific theory is worth spending 5 trillion dollars on worldwide just to keep Africans from getting air conditioning and fresh water.

    Stinky,

Article? It was a couple of paragraphs cobbled together, barely. It had nothing to say except the author’s lame opinion.

Global warming is pretty simple. The Earth is warming from CO2 we humans are adding to the atmosphere. It’s warmed about 1C and is still warming and will be 2-4C warmer over the next 50 to 100 years.

Critics say either “it is not” or “so what”, we’ll adjust.

Incurious donnie sees no reason for government support of science, primarily because scientific results do not support conservative dogma and mythology, and trumpy’s base (for now) is conservative. Vaccines cause autism, abortion causes cancer, the greenhouse effect doesn’t exist, evolution is a myth, etc etc… These are positions of the anti-science right. Pure ideology.

    • Rev.Hoagie® says:

You really believe that’s “conservative dogma” don’t ya Skinsuit? First off conservatives don’t have a “dogma”. We leave that type of nonsense to political parties who won’t tolerate dissent. You know who you are. Secondly, what do vaccines, abortion, cancer, and evolution have to do with the scientific Great Lie of AGW? Absolutely nothing! There is nothing “anti-science” in wanting proof, is there?

Scientific knowledge is about cause and effect. Therefore, a claim of knowledge can only be confirmed by a chain of successful predictions. Successful predictions made by the warmistas, IPCC-affiliated or otherwise, specifically about the response of mean global temperatures to increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide: NONE!

  3. Dana says:

The left just can’t quite seem to tell the truth about environmental stuff; when they don’t lie directly, they lie by omission.

Matt Egan of CNNMoney published an article saying #KeystoneXL pipeline would create only 35 permanent jobs, but he omitted many facts: the spinoff jobs created — Alaska estimates Alaska pipeline wound up creating 60,000 spinoff jobs — and the fact that construction jobs, by their very nature, are temporary: you start, you finish, and then you move on to the next project.

Of course, the Canadian oil sands are already being used, so the only real question is: which country is going to benefit economically from it? Me, I’d rather see American workers benefit, rather than other people.

  4. Jeffery says:

    Stinky A$$hole,

You seem to know as much about the scientific method as trumpy.

Haha, conservatives don’t have dogma, LOL.

    Conservatives have ONLY dogma.

    ………..

    Temperature increasing.

    CO2 increasing.

CO2 slows the radiation of infrared to deep space.

Arrhenius predicted this over a century ago and there have been no data to falsify the hypothesis.

To which of these statements of fact do you take exception?

  5. Jeffery says:

How’s TrumpKare working out? Was the world’s greatest negotiator able to push it through?

Let’s see… Republicans were able to craft Obamacare Repeal bills dozens of times. Finally, when they have a sympathetic “president” ready to sign the repeal, they can’t remember how to craft a bill.

Is this the House’s fault or trumpy’s fault??

  6. Jeffery says:

Sometimes, when every smart and/or educated person on Earth disagrees with you on an issue, maybe, just maybe, you should question your position. That’s not to say that just because 97%+ of reasonable people believe one thing, that you should, just that that fact should temper your hubris just a little bit. (Tempered Hubris: good name for a right-wing rock band)

After all, some 70% of humans believe that supernatural beings and events (gods, angels, allahs, miracles) exist without any to evidence to support their notion. So it’s possible that 97%+ of smart folks are wrong about global warming. It just that every day it becomes more unlikely they are wrong.

    • Rev.Hoagie® says:

I don’t understand what more all the very, very, smart, educated and brilliant people need to do to prove they’re full of shit beside being dead wrong on every prediction since 1970. Can you?

You really place a whole lot of faith in people who you believe to be really, really smart and educated and experts at stuff who haven’t made a single correct prediction. Except if they keep scaring fools like you they’ll keep getting our tax money. At that they are very good.

    • drowningpuppies says:

Thanks for repeating the same mantra you’ve been spouting for years, little guy.
None of it is true or provable but being such a little dumbass you’d never know.

  7. The Neon Madman says:

Vehicle? The hell you say. I can only see a pretty girl cosplayer, with a striking costume.

I’Lloyd take your word on the vehicle. Thanks, Teach.

  9. Jeffery says:

The absolute top priority for the Republicans over the past 7-8 years was to repeal the ACA. They couldn’t even bring it to a vote in the House.

    #Incompetence

    #GovernanceIsHard

  10. Jeffery says:

IF the Repubs had put forth a plan better than Obamacare it would have passed. Many Repubs are not interested in the healthcare of Americans, and their objective now will be to make citizens suffer.

  11. Dana says:

    Jeffrey wrote:

They did have a better plan: a full repeal, with zero replacement. That’s what the base want, but that’s what the congressmen lack the balls to pass.

  12. Jeffery says:

White House sources claim trumpy was beaucoup pissed that Ivanka, Jared et al spent a week on a taxpayer funded vacation while trumpy was left alone in DC to fight for kicking 14 million American citizens off their healthcare. His namesake, TrumpKare, was on the line, and his “loving” family took off skiing. What a family. His Mrs. was cloistered in Manhattan, away from the trumpabeast.

trumpy thought being prez was like being the boss… you stamp your feet and everyone does what you say. Even his threats to Freedom Caucus victims members couldn’t get them to change their votes. We all KNOW how his Daddy Putin would handle such insolence.

  13. Rev.Hoagie® says:

    trumpy….trumpy….trumpy…waaah….waaah….waah….stomp….stomp…stomp.

    Get over it asshole.

  14. Jeffery says:

They did have a better plan: a full repeal, with zero replacement. That’s what the base want

What base? Certainly not trumpy’s base. Recall that trumpy promised repeal + replace with better, cheaper insurance. Or did the “base” assume he was lying and would push complete repeal? (We all know that trumpy doesn’t give a shit one way or the other – no coverage or universal coverage, doesn’t matter – he has no real opinion, other than how it makes him look).

If you mean the libertarian base, they clearly didn’t have enough votes in the very conservative House to even have total repeal considered.

This was a dreadful bill essentially proposed to change the name of Obamacare to TrumpKare, cut taxes for the wealthy and harass poor folks. Patients were not considered. Even the House crazies didn’t buy it. Some were afraid of American citizens, some are holding out for the full elimination of federal involvement in healthcare.

What percentage of Americans do you suspect want the complete elimination of gov’t involvement in healthcare, i.e., elimination of Medicaid, Medicare and the ACA?

Eliminating Medicare, Medicaid and the ACA will be an uphill if not impossible battle.

How’s this? Eliminate Medicaid and the ACA. Expand Medicare to cover all Americans, partly paid for by premiums, partly by general revenues, all administered by the gov’t. Unfortunately, we’d be forced to forgo massive tax cut fors the wealthy, massive insurance, hospital and pharma profits for the wealthy, competition would like force Dr pay down etc. This proposal would be wildly popular with Americans, the Dems would fully support it and perhaps even a few Repugs.

Why do you suppose other modern nations spend about 50% per capita on healthcare when compare to the US?

We’re impressed that conservatives have been able to force Americans into an inferior healthcare system when other modern nations switched to efficient, cost effective systems years ago.
