Florida Dem Wants Anger Management Course Requirement For Ammunition Purchases

Yeah, but remember, none of what Dems are proposing across the country are attempts to strip law abiding citizens of their 2nd Amendment Rights

(The Blaze) If a Florida Democrat has her way, anyone who tries to buy ammunition will have to first complete an anger management program. Critics are slamming the bill as a ridiculous and unconstitutional proposal to deal with gun violence.

Florida state Sen. Audrey Gibson (D-Jacksonville) introduced the bill on Saturday, which stipulates ammunition purchasers must go through a three-day waiting period to buy any ammo if they have not completed anger management courses. The bill would mandate that ammo buyers take the anger management course every 10 years.

People might get angry because they’re required to take the course. Granted, it’s required every 10 years, but, (I’m tempted to put in some fake outrage, I’ll control myself) still, this would put ammo purchasers in the same light as violent criminals.

“It’s about getting people to think, really, about how much ammunition they need,” Gibson added. “It’s a step, I think, in a safer direction. It’s about getting people to think before they buy.”

How much I need is none of her business. Oh, and I suggest that all Florida legislators, especially Democrats, go through not just mental stability test every 2 years, but courses in basic economics and wise spending. Perhaps one of those old “home economics” courses.

Teach the Bill of Rights have always had restrictions on it. Do you think that all “law abiding citizens” should be allowed to own RPGs ? If laws are passed restricting the 2nd Amendment well ipso facto law abiding citizens will obey them. 4000 law abiding vets kill themselves each year with firearms. I think that we should pass laws to reduce that number. Others seem to think that “laws” will not help. Well they helped to reduce drunk driving. They helped to reduce bank robbery and insider trading.

See, they require anger management training so they won’t get angry about having to take anger management training!

You just gave the libtards all the evidence they need to push their legislation.
