House To Hold Globull Warming Hearings Wednesday, Gore Effect To Hit D.C. Hard

Via Climate Depot (which has the long history of the Gore Effect), we learn that the House Subcommittee on Environment will hold a hearing on Wed. with Warmists Dr. Judith Curry (fossil fueled trip from Georgia), Dr. William Chameides (fossil fueled trip from Durham, NC), and Dr. Bjørn Lomborg (wait, he’s from Copenhagen? Did he take a rowboat to D.C.? Oh, and he does hold some “skeptical” views).

Hmm, and there’s a winter storm warning for Tuesday night through Wednesday for the D.C. area.

The Washington Post weather gang offers

The Snowquester is coming with its fervent attempt to make a dent in our snow deficit. This is easily the biggest snow threat we’ve seen over the past two winters. The main precipitation starts tonight as a rain/snow mix in most areas which transitions to a heavy, wet snow from west to east early Wednesday. Significant snow accumulations of 3-8 inches are likely (and even more, 6-12 inches, west of the Beltway). Snow ends Wednesday night with a gradual warming trend Thurday into the weekend.

Enjoy that hearing!

And, yeah, George Soros funded Climate Progress is blaming this storm on “climate change”.

I love the internet’s naming of storms more than the Weather Channel’s.
    Snowmageddon
    Great White Blow
    Blizzardtopia
    Snowquester

Those are more memorable than… nemo (wth?)

  2. john says:

Teach do you think that the temps in DC will be record lows ? I don’t. Remember heaviest snowfall usually occurs when the temps are just below freezing.

  3. gumball_brains says:

So, resident troll #2 has gone from it takes excess heat to create snow to now snow occurs when water freezes.

he must be back on his mom’s meds again.

    Asshole. If anyone is a
“troll”, you are a “troll”, constantly disrupting this site with your mindless drivel, the senseless babbling of a senile old fool.

You are also the one who is clearly off his meds, you weirdo.

  5. Brian says:

But you’re certainly consistent, Gums …, consistently obnoxious.

  6. john says:

Gummie what I try to tell people is that snow is percipitation. And warm air can hold more moisture than cold air. This is why both the interior of Alaska and the interior of Antartica are both considered to be desserts/ And DC was NOT undergoing an abnormally low temp recently and the snowfall was certainly not “hard”.

  7. john says:

Most Americans 80% believe that global warming is a serious problem. About 97% of climatologists believe that man is responsible. And the US Navy also believes. climate “truthers” do not. . Many of these people are just anti science, they do not believe in evolution, or that the Earth is any older than the Bible says it is. Under Bush the National Park rangers were forbidden to discuss the age of teh Grand Canyon for fear of angering Bush’s political base, many of whom think that the Grand Canyon was proof of the Great Flood in the Bible.

that is true john, but what causes the water to precipitate out of the air, either frozen or liquid?

LOL, John just made that up, presumably to test Moe and Curly.

  10. I’d insert a facepalm GIF under Johns comment if that was possible using Android.
