Rep. Mike Honda (D-Brokeifornia): “Like, OMG, We’re Going To Boil The Planet!!!!!”

First off, let’s define exactly what’s going on, via the Toronto Sun’s Lorrie Goldstein

Climate alarmists are great at linking single weather events like Hurricane Sandy to man-made climate change, a propaganda tactic otherwise known as climate porn.

Mike Honda provides his own bit of completely off the rails, bat guano insane climate p0rn

(The Politico) The devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy along the East Coast highlighted several tragic trends that will continue if not actively and aggressively addressed. First, the super storm showed us how powerful jet stream winds were able to box Sandy in along the coast and exacerbate the damage the storm caused. These blocking patterns have appeared with greater frequency and intensity in recent years, which scientists have attributed to the loss of Arctic sea ice as a result of global warming.

“Greater frequency”? When was the last one, Mike? Care to point it out? Second, the part about “blocking” is a baseless talking point unsupported by actual science that just cropped up within the past 7-10 days.

We need a president with the courage to pledge to cool the planet by cutting carbon emissions because, at the current rate, they’ll boil the planet. The first eight months of 2012 were the hottest on record since record-keeping began in 1895. The months of June, July and August produced the third-hottest summer ever recorded, the impact of which is killing our agricultural economy. This summer, 40 out of 50 states had drought-designated counties with conditions severe enough to be eligible for federal aid. Almost two-thirds of the nation experienced moderate to severe drought conditions, a 30 percent increase from last year, when one-third of the country witnessed such conditions.

OMG, like, you know, dude, we’ll boil the planet!!!!! Hysteria much, Mike? I guess you miss the part where the average global temperature is the same as it was 16 years ago. And, while you make a lot of hay about hot US temps (it was still hotter in the 1930’s, as well as the previous warm periods), you forget to mention that much of the rest of the world experienced much cooler than average temps.

After that there’s a lot of blamestoring of evil fossil fuel companies (hey, Mike, how do you get from California to D.C.?), Republicans, and more about backing Obama because of his climate change policies (which he never talks about and rarely does anything about). What’s missing is what Mike’s plans are, and how he has changed his own life to one that is carbon neutral. Warmists always forget that part. Even when the planet is in danger of boiling.

And, I might as well mention Nanny Michael Bloomberg, who has endorsed Obama because of hotcoldwetdry, even though Mike’s carbon footprint is 18 times that of the average American.

Teach everyone is supposed to help some, no one is expected to kill themselves. But please, continue to attack the messengers if you can not attack the message. It just reinforces the facts when you do so.

so, is Teach a racist for attacking a white messenger and the message printed in black and white?

Teach, that “blocking” stuff is just the bat-guano-crazy mofos trying to use normal science against us. Recall they tried to blame the Russian and Texas heat waves on global warming. Real scientists came out and said, no.. that was because of a blocking high pressure system.

Now, they are trying to blame the same on a low pressure storm system. Doesn’t work. And they are trying to blame the jet stream for dragging the hurricane back and in to the states? Ummm.. no. That was due to gaps around the jetstream that led to low pressure areas and a dropping cold front across the plains states.

And the other data he spewed is not even supported by the leftist muslim-outreach program NASA.

Science has never been one of the angry lib denialists’ strong points. Heck, reality isn’t even one.
