Confirmed: Mohammed Cartoons Can Drive Islamists Nuts 5 Years Later

If you want to kill over some cartoons, you just might be an Islamist.

If you hold a grudge over cartoons from 5 years ago, you just might be an Islamist.

If your religion forbids the depiction of Mohammed, yet you know what he looks like enough to want to blow up buildings, you just might be an Islamist

Three men arrested in Norway in July are suspected of planning attacks to avenge cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad that appeared in a Danish newspaper, Norwegian and Danish police say.

Denmark’s police intelligence branch said the target might have been either the Jyllands-Posten newspaper itself or people linked to the cartoons.

One of the suspects, an Iraqi Kurd, had confessed, police said.

The 12 drawings sparked furious protests in Muslim countries in 2006.

Islam forbids any depiction of the Prophet.

So much for the Religion of Peace. Those “furious protests”, which actually started with the publication of the cartoons on September 30, 2005, included setting fire to the Danish embassies in Syria, Lebanon, and Iran, burning of many European nations flags, and over 100 deaths in to…..that’s right, fellow Muslims. And there were more “protests” in 2006, plus many attempts on Kurt Westergaard’s (the cartoonist) life, and on the newspaper building, including one where the Chechen jihadi partially ‘sploded himself. Westergaard has had to get himself a guard dog, round the clock police protection, and a safe room.

Don’t upset the little Religion of Peace darlings: they’ll try and kill you.

Mohammed Cartoons

Rusty at The Jawa Report would speak out against Islamist violence, but he is too scared. Oh, and I had forgotten about the Fatworthy Tramp stamps, till I was reminded by Allahakchew aka SH at The Jawa Report

Humorously, when I searched “thong” at Google Images, the above came up in the first line, from this site. Let’s kick the outrage up a notch, shall we?

Petraeus said that burning the Quaran would further endanger our troops. What possible downside could there be by angering Islamic nut cases??

    • I will not submit to them, John. I will not be frighted off by them. And, yest, I have been threatened by them, having twice referred the emails to the authorities.

And, seriously, these are just cartoons.

You know, I believe that the second-to-last cartoon is the one that most looks like muhammed, thus I issue a fatwa that Teach MUST… MUST DIE.. no… no.. I meant.. he MUST… MUST .. post more pictures like the bottom two.

So, now we know what pisses Islam off. Drawing a picture of a guy that no one knows what he looked like, and… handing out pro-Bible literature on a public sidewalk within a 5-block radius of a pro-muslim carnival.

    And, I ….
oh, sorry got distracted again by that last pic. Oh, nevermind.

A few days ago you said that there was nothing to fear from terrorists. Do you really believe that the people that advocate killing those who draw a cartoon should be murdered? Do you think that Molly Norris should have had to go into hiding because of these terrorist threats?

I suspect that it is more along the lines that you are an appeaser.

You just want to surrender the rights and freedoms of others.

  4. I guess I’ll have to make some more, Captain 🙂

Unfortunately, too make leftists are appeasers, GT. It is what they know best. They think that all of a sudden people who would slit their throats in heartbeat will be overcome with hope changey kumbaya feelings.
