Climate change science has come under full-scale attack in a last-ditch effort to delay or prevent action by the U.S. government against global warming, experts warn.
U.S. Senator James Inhofe, Republican from Oklahoma and climate change denier, in late February released a list of leading climate scientists he wants prosecuted as criminals for misleading the government. Those scientists are receiving hate mail and death threats.
â€I have hundreds†of threatening emails, Stephen Schneider, a climatologist at Stanford University in California, told Tierramérica.
He believes scientists will be killed over this. â€I’m not going to let it worry me… but you know it’s going to happen,†said Schneider, one of the most respected climate scientists in the world. â€They shoot abortion doctors here.â€
I’m certainly not advocating violence, but, one can certainly understand why people are a wee bit upset with these disingenuous climate alarmists, who seem hell bent on get regulations passed based on faulty science which would not only raise the cost of living for actual real people, but restrict their freedoms, all so some climate scientists and alarmists can “be cool” to their peers, and rake in some large chunks of cash.
And, again, I am not advocating violence, but, gee, there was one time a bit over 234 years ago where some folks had had quite enough of having their freedoms taken away.
There is also some whining about the “multi-billion dollar fossil fuel industry.” Actually, that would be billions on the True Believer side, while only millions on the skeptic side.
Oh, wait, look. True Believers were calling to jail or execute skeptics.
In truth, I think he is right. Scientists Will die.
New research is more and more proving the point the AGW is a massive fraud. Finger-pointing and CYA has already begun; it is only a matter of time until people deep within the fraud try to make a break for it- and those committed to the fraud will be watching for them.
A great many will be able to get away, go into hiding, find countries with no extradition to the US (gore for example, sudssucki is probably another). Some few will ‘disappear,’ either by their own devices or because they were murdered by their own.
History has lots of examples of this.
So yes, there will be violence.
It just won’t be those of us asking for a Reasonable debate on the issue, who are doing it.
Inhofe also believes that the earth is only 6000 years old and God created everything in a week. Keep posting him Teach he is the poster boy for all things anti science.

What “research”?! The only criticisms of climate science have been originating from UK tabloid newspapers and conservative/denier blogs. Where is the “research”?! That, I would LOVE to see!
