Obama Says Time For Debate Is Over, So Just STFU And GFYS

The debate on Iraq, “torture,” being mean to terrorists, hell, the entire eight years Bush was president, the debate can still rage in Barry’s World. But, the Democrats health care destruction legislation, which is opposed by 53% of Americans, 41% strongly opposed? The debate is over

President Obama on Monday tore into private health insurers for recent rate hikes, taking a more aggressive rhetorical turn as he pushes for final congressional passage of his top domestic priority.

Obama repeated his assertion that the plan under consideration includes the best Democratic and Republican ideas. The time for debate has ended, he argued.

Congress “owes the American people a final up or down vote on health care. It’s time to make a decision,” he told an enthusiastic crowd at Arcadia University near Philadelphia. “Stand with me and fight with me. … Let’s seize reform. It’s within our grasp.”

The American People have given their up or down votes for almost a year now, Barry. Maybe you should pay attention (and, also, stop your assault on private companies and the people who work for them).

    Do it for his presidency!!!

  2. John Ryan says:

noo Teach the American people have been POLLED for the last year. The last time the American people voted the Republicans came out a distant 2nd There is a difference between polling and voting.

    • Larry says:

Yes, John, they’ve been polled. They sent representatives to Washington to *REPRESENT* them – those people who sent Democrats have discovered that the people they sent aren’t REPRESENTING them. Polls tell REPRESENTATIVES how their consituents want to be REPRESENTED.

We don’t send people to Washington to just do whatever they please or represent the wishes of Nazi Pelosi and Barak Hussein Obama.

No worries, they won’t make the mistake of sending Democrats back this fall.

As far as ‘distant’ second, it’s almost like the 2009 November elections never happened.

Wow, Wilkow is right! It IS easy being a liberal. I kind of like it!

  3. Otter says:

Yes. Democrats base their plans on heavily biased-to-the-left polls.

  4. John Ryan says:

The American voters elected him KNOWING that healthcare reform was going to be his policy

  5. Larry says:

The American voters have also decided that they don’t like how he is attempting to implement the ‘policy’, nor do they like the actual policy. Were the November 2009 elections and the MA special election not enough of a warning/rebuke?

What is so hard to understand about this?

I, for one, am not at all surprised. I knew what this man was before he was elected – an empty suit full of rhetoric and lies who believes in Communism/Socialism and aims to destroy what we have left of the free market.

I HOPED he wouldn’t act like such, but I’m not surprised he has.
