Ha! This is priceless (h/t to Moonbattery, via SondraK)
The trees in this city have friends. Those friends were loyal enough to stand alongside Highway 99 on Sunday, underneath a row of 15 spiky, heavily pruned trees, protesting what they say is improper pruning of trees in public places.
(part removed due being asked nicely)
The group stretched yellow police tape between the trees. Protesters took turns holding a long, yellow-and-green banner that read "Stop the Torture Caused by Bad Pruning." Other signs read "Let the Trees Grow," "Stop Topping Trees," "99 Needs Trees" and "Enforce Tree Regs Now."
That reminds me. I need to check my stock in Reynolds, seeing that tin foil use is skyrocketting.
