Climate Cult Claims Autumn Will Totally Not Be The Same This Year

Some years Autumns are warm. Sometimes cool. Sometimes cold. Sometimes hot. It’s the nature of the weather. It’s never always the same. Fall 2020 was rather chilly. But, because you dared drive a fossil fueled vehicle and eat cheeseburgers, this one could maybe possibly be different

Why autumn weather won’t be the same this year

At the halfway point of August, fall is quickly approaching as schools are back in session. But warm temperatures and prolonged drought could hinder the traditional fall feeling of cool, crisp mornings with beautiful foliage on the trees.

The Climate Prediction Center’s (CPC) extended three-month outlook for September through November is showing a similar story for most of the country — above average temperatures.

The CPC has also increased chances for La Niña this fall. While this could be good news for the drought-stricken western states, it does not bode well for areas impacted by tropical systems in the Atlantic. (snip)

It could take a little while longer than average to feel the brisk cool evenings or chilly morning walks to school associated with fall in the US.

Nationwide, warmer fall temperatures are anticipated for the next three months. The Southwest and Northeast could experience the most anomalously above average temperatures, according to the CPC outlook for September, October and November. (snip)

Although the temperatures could be warmer than average, it doesn’t mean things won’t cool off. Cooler temperatures will start to roll across much of the country, but they might not be as cold as usual.

See, all this is meant to insinuate that it is caused by the actions of Mankind. Your fault. If only you would buy an electric vehicle and give up meat. Move to a big, Progressive city and vote Democrat. It’s meant to scare people. But, what if the Warmists at the Climate Prediction Center (a part of the climate cult leaning NOAA) are wrong? Are there any consequences? They were pretty much wrong on Fall 2020. How about for the news outlets (it’s a CNN article reposted by WRAL) and story writers, who write it up with zero skepticism? Any consequences? The Farmer’s Almanac is saying something very different than the CCCP, er, CPC. Looking back, the CPC tends to be more wrong than right.

The climate cult has been making wrong prognostications for 30+ years, yet, no consequences. They just keep making them.

Pressure Grows On Sleepy Joe To Extend Afghanistan Deadline

As most rational people can see, this is a disaster thanks to the incompetence of the Biden administration. In most private businesses, and even in governments in countries around the world, there would be mass resignations and firings, with potentially even the head quitting. But, Vacation Joe doesn’t seem particularly engaged. As the NY Post editorial board notes, Biden is a disengaged, befuddled president. And Michael McKenna writes

Joe Biden Ice Cream AfghanistanWe can, however, say with some precision a few things about his schedule, his apparent lassitude, and that of his administration.  For at least the last six months, the president’s daily schedule seems to have consisted of the Presidential Daily Briefing (usually in mid-morning rather than at the start of the day as is typical for presidents) followed by one internal meeting or perhaps a phone call or video chat with a small group of whoever.

There are seldom two meetings on the presidential schedule, and there have only been a handful of trips to places other than Delaware.  Announcements of the closure of the news-making portion of the day (“lids”) have been called as early as 11 am.  During and after the fall of Kabul, the president was at Camp David, apparently by himself.

He’s really just not up to this. So, what makes people think he’ll have the fortitude to extend the August 31 deadline?

Pressure Grows on Biden to Extend Afghan Withdrawal Deadline

As the evacuation from Afghanistan plunged more deeply into chaos and violence, President Biden is considering extending the deadline for U.S. troops to withdraw, amid a groundswell of pressure from global leaders and veterans concerned that a security vacuum could risk lethal consequences.

Violent clashes at Kabul’s airport on Monday reinforced fears that the American withdrawal will aggravate the already precarious security situation. The German military wrote on Twitter that a member of the Afghan security forces had died in a firefight with unidentified attackers in the early hours. It did not specify which group the Afghans were affiliated with.

That’s on Feckless Joe. This did not need to happen. So shot

Mr. Biden said on Sunday that his administration might extend his Aug. 31 deadline, and he pledged that all evacuated Afghan allies would be given a home in the United States after they are screened and vetted at bases in other countries.

And chaser

But the Taliban have made it clear that an extension of the U.S. deadline for troop withdrawal would be unwelcome. “They should finish the evacuation by Aug. 31 as they have promised,” Mohammad Naem, a Taliban spokesman in Qatar, said on Monday.

Oh, it’s much, much worse than that. It’s necessary to get away from the protective U.S. Credentialed Media

‘There will be consequences’: Taliban warn US and Britain to get out, saying August 31 withdrawal deadline is a ‘red line’ and it will ‘provoke a reaction if they are intent on continuing the occupation’

The Taliban has said it will ‘provoke a reaction’ and has threatened ‘consequences’ if the US or UK do not leave Afghanistan by August 31 and extend the deadline for the withdrawal of troops.

President Joe Biden wants all Americans to have left the country by the end of the month although he admitted on Sunday night that an extension was under discussion, while this morning UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said the evacuation effort is ‘down to hours now, not weeks’.

Taliban spokesman Dr Suhail Shaheen said the group will not accept an extension to the deadline and warned of retaliation if Western forces extend their ‘occupation’ since the group dramatically swept to power.

He told Sky News: ‘It’s a red line. President Biden announced that on 31 August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that.

‘If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations – the answer is no. Or there would be consequences.

Most likely, Bumbling Joe has no idea of that interview. He might be alerted to it at his 930 daily briefing or at his 10am meeting with his national security (fail) team. The only other thing on his schedule is a meeting with the Seattle Storm at 330pm.

Boris Johnson is expected to press him and other G7 leaders to delay the final withdrawal in a virtual call on Tuesday, despite his armed forces minister warning Kabul will become a ‘warzone’ if the West stay and ignore the Taliban’s demands.

Tuesday. Biden couldn’t fit this in Monday? Kinda important with all the Americans and European nation citizens stuck in Afghanistan, eh? What does this guy do all day?

Photo comes from Newsweek, with a story about a billboard in Wilmington, NC which showed that graphic. Weird that none of the local news outlets posted about it from 3 days ago.

Surprise: Heat Pumps Are Worse For Warming Homes Than Gas Boilers

The climate cult high poobahs have been pushing to replace gas boilers with heat pumps, because, for one thing, they just can’t mind their own f’ing business, especially since those poobahs tend to be rich and can afford to piss away money. And now?

The view of a climate poobah laughing over what he’s trying to push. From the article

Boris Johnson’s proposed green alternative to gas heating is inferior to traditional boilers, the Business and Energy Secretary has admitted, as he insisted that heat pumps were not “much worse” than the technology they are designed to replace.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Kwasi Kwarteng conceded that, while gas boilers had been “refined over many years … heat pumps are still in their infancy”.

Fears that the new technology provides significantly less heat in homes than traditional boilers were being “exaggerated”, Mr Kwarteng insisted.

He added: “I don’t think actually heat pumps are that much worse than boilers. All I’m saying is that they could be improved if there was more investment.”

In other words, they’re worse. And more expensive. And government would force you to replace your existing and working gas boiler with a heat pump. This will, of course, only effect so many, as so many have electric ones.

Speaking as the Government finalises its heat and buildings strategy, Mr Kwarteng addressed concerns about the costs of the policy by insisting that ministers would not seek to achieve the target by “writing cheques” alone.

“We’re not going to get to a hydrogen economy just by the Government writing cheques,” he says.

“We’re going to do that by the Government, yes, writing some cheques, if I want to put it crudely, but critically, by attracting private investment.”

These people think private investors will suddenly pony up lots of money for the hell of it. What’s the financial reward to private investors? If there was one, they’d already be doing this. It is funny that so many of the climate cult solutions are worse than the original.

Biden’s Afghanistan: Taliban Taking U.S. Passports, ISIS Reported To Have Returned

Remember how we were told Joe Biden is a foreign policy wizard? That he’s bring world  respect back to America? How’s that working with his big Afghanistan adventure?

Report: Taliban Seizing U.S. Passports from Afghan Americans

Biden Brain SlugMore chaos unfolds in Afghanistan, and more reports now show Taliban terrorists are seizing U.S. passports from Afghan Americans trying to get in the gates of the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul to flee the country.

The Taliban terrorists around the airport are attempting to take U.S. passports and even identification orders as a deterrent to try to hinder the Afghan Americans from fleeing the country, the New York Post reported:

An Afghan American who reportedly has a home in the U.S. but has served within Afghanistan as an interpreter told the Post, “I got to the gates and was about to show my passport, but the Taliban got it, and he said you are not allowed to go through and wouldn’t give it back.” He added that he “was lucky a U.S. marine was right there and forced him to give it back.”

A former Navy SEAL, Ephraim Mattos, who is now the founder of Stronghold Rescue and Relief, a humanitarian organization, told the Post the Taliban terrorists are taking precious documents such as U.S. passports and driver’s licenses from American citizens. “They lose proof of who they are, and this has happened on multiple occasions in multiple places.”

In fairness, Joe is just the figurehead, who would have authorized the terrible plan to pull out our military before American citizens, destroying/taking the military materials, and those authorized to leave. People gave him very bad advice. The Woke military leaders should be fired for this disaster. Of course, Joe and his Woke military and intelligence leaders refuse to take responsibility.

IS threat forces US changes to evacuations at Kabul airport

Potential Islamic State threats against Americans in Afghanistan are forcing the U.S. military to develop new ways to get evacuees to the airport in Kabul, a senior U.S. official said Saturday, adding a new complication to the already chaotic efforts to get people out of the country after its swift fall to the Taliban.

The official said that small groups of Americans and possibly other civilians will be given specific instructions on what to do, including movement to transit points where they can be gathered up by the military. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss military operations.

The changes come as the U.S. Embassy issued a new security warning Saturday telling citizens not to travel to the Kabul airport without individual instruction from a U.S. government representative. Officials declined to provide more specifics about the IS threat but described it as significant. They said there have beenno confirmed attacks as yet.

The strongest military in the world and they can’t go get out citizens. And now ISIS is threatening our citizens. Heck of a job, Disaster Joe.

Britain loses patience with Sleepy Joe: Tony Blair brands Biden an ‘imbecile’ over ‘tragic, dangerous and unnecessary’ decision to quit Afghanistan amid claims Boris Johnson remarked ‘we would be better off with Trump’

Tony Blair has branded US President Joe Biden’s ‘imbecilic’ decision to withdraw American troops from Taliban-controlled Afghanistan, calling the scuttle ‘tragic, dangerous and unnecessary’ and claiming the move had ‘every Jihadist group round the world cheering’.

Mr Blair, who was in Downing Street when London sent British troops into the Middle Eastern country 20 years ago following the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York and Washington – said Britain has a ‘moral obligation’ to stay until ‘all those who need to be are evacuated’.

Relations between Britain and US are strained, with Defence Secretary Ben Wallace warning ‘no nation will be able to get everyone out’ of Afghanistan as Mr Biden’s August 31 date makes the mission even more time-pressured, in what is likely to be seen as a plea to Washington.

Cabinet insiders have suggested the President was ‘gaga’ and ‘doolally’ for withdrawing so quickly, while the Prime Minister has allegedly privately referred to Mr Biden as ‘Sleepy Joe’, the nickname coined by Donald Trump. Mr Johnson also allegedly remarked Britain ‘would be better off with Trump’ – allegations branded ‘categorically untrue’ by Downing Street.

One minister denounced US isolationism and warned the Government would have to ‘revisit’ the recent review on defence and foreign policy because the US was no longer a reliable ally.

You just know similar conversations are occurring in Germany, France, Japan, Taiwan, and other U.S. allies. Same in enemy nations.

British military: 7 Afghans killed in chaos at Kabul airport

A panicked crush of people trying to enter Kabul’s international airport killed seven Afghan civilians in the crowds, the British military said Sunday, showing the danger still posed to those trying to flee the Taliban’s takeover of the country. (snip)

In chaotic scenes Saturday, British and Western troops in full combat gear tried to control crowds big enough to be seen in satellite photos pressing into the airport. They carried away some who were sweating and pale. With temperatures reaching 34 degree Celsius (93 degrees Fahrenheit), the soldiers sprayed water from a hose on those gathered or gave them bottled water to pour over their heads.

The British military on Sunday acknowledged the seven deaths of civilians in the crowds. There have been other stampedes and crushing injuries in the crowds, especially as Taliban fighters fire into the air to drive away those desperate to get on any flight out of the country.

This is on Sleepy Joe and his advisors and Woke military idiots, but, mostly on Joe, who’s POTUS. Greatest U.S. failure since the Bay of Pigs.

Hotcoldwetdry Must Be Addressed By Government Or Something

A simple opinion piece that highlights what the climate scam movement is all about: empowering government. Duping citizens into giving up their money, freedom, and choice

Climate change must be addressed by legislators to make meaningful change

Climate change is real, and it is wreaking havoc on our daily lives. With record-high temperatures destroying both our environment and our economy, it’s time for us to work together to create clean energy jobs, reduce our carbon emissions and save our planet. (snip)

So what can we do to combat climate change?

For my part, I’m proud to be a founding member of the Climate Action Caucus in the Minnesota House of Representatives. We are a coalition of legislators dedicated to crafting and promoting meaningful laws to ensure Minnesota is a leader in combatting climate change and preserving our natural resources. (snip)

Unfortunately, our plan was dismissed outright by Republican politicians who refuse to see the damage climate change is inflicting on our community. It’s become common within the Minnesota GOP to deny science, to deny what is going on right outside their own doors. In 2019, 50 of my House Republican colleagues voted against an amendment stating that “the Legislature finds and declares that greenhouse gas emissions resulting from human activities are a key cause of climate change.” This willful ignorance needs to stop before it’s too late.

This summer has been terrible for our air quality, our farmers, our fishing, and our lawns. It’s the time for my Republican colleagues to take a realistic look at what’s happening to our state’s climate. Let’s work together to combat climate change and save our economy and environment for generations of Minnesotans to come.

It gets better when we see who wrote this

State Representative Dan Wolgamott is serving his second term in the Minnesota House for District 14B. A Democrat, Rep. Wolgamott serves as the assistant majority leader and resides in St. Cloud.

That’s right, you have a state rep telling people they need to let government run their lives. Hence why ‘climate change’ is a scam. It’s not that the climate hasn’t changed. It has. Just like throughout the Holocene. It’s not that some of the changes are not caused by Mankind. Some are. Heck, even if the majority was caused by the actions of Mankind, the solutions all seem to be about authoritarian government. Government is telling you they will take that power, along with enticing citizens to give government that power. And lots of climate cultists will be shocked when government starts dictating their lives.

Australian Police Arrest Hundreds Of Anti-Lockdown Protesters

Australia has never had anything similar to the bill of rights, though it has been brought up by the elected rulers at times. Many of the states have their own lite versions. Which means the government can run roughshod over the citizens and do pretty much whatever it likes (photo from AP article)

Hundreds arrested, fined during Australia lockdown protests

More than 250 people who were protesting coronavirus lockdowns in Australia were arrested Saturday and many faced fines for defying health orders, authorities said.

At least seven police officers were treated for injuries after skirmishes broke out at some of the protests, which took place in multiple cities nationwide. The largest and most violent protest was in Melbourne. Many were organized by people in encrypted online chat groups.

Sydney has been in lockdown for two months, while Melbourne and the capital, Canberra, went into lockdown earlier this month. Under the rules of the lockdown, people are mostly confined to their homes and have limits placed on their social interactions.

Despite those measures, Sydney’s New South Wales state reported a record 825 new daily community infections on Saturday. Several cities are battling outbreaks of the highly contagious delta variant.

Protestors say the lockdowns should end, but authorities say they are necessary to suppress the spread of the virus and save lives.

In Melbourne, a crowd of about 4,000 mostly unmasked protesters let off flares, yelled and blasted music in the central city. Victoria state police arrested 218 people and issued more than 200 fines, each for more than 5,400 Australian dollars ($3,850).

Despite lockdown, there were 825 Chinese flu infections. Out of a population of 8.2 million. That’s what the government is locking people down over. Is it any wonder people are protesting for freedom?

Let’s be clear: some deserve to be arrested for getting violent. Most of the rest were simply protesting. The basic state of government is tyranny. Control. Look at Germany a few weeks ago

COVID: Berlin court bans anti-lockdown protests

Berlin authorities have banned more than tens of thousands of anti-lockdown protesters demonstrating this weekend.

Judges at the German capital’s administrative court refused to authorize 13 demonstrations, some of which had been organized by the Querdenker (Lateral thinker) anti-lockdown movement.

The ban was upheld by the Berlin-Brandeburg upper administrative court.

Organizers said 22,500 people had registered to take part in one of the rallies.

Court officials said the protests were banned amid fears of a rise in coronavirus infections sparked by the delta variant.

A separate march planned for Sunday has also been forbidden.

If you give a little freedom up to government, they will take lots and lots more. Meanwhile

(NY Post) The Food and Drug Administration is preparing to grant full approval of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, according to a report on Friday.

The New York Times reported that the approval had originally been targeted for Labor Day, but was expedited due the recent surge of the more infectious Delta variant of the virus.

Hopefully that means that more will voluntarily get the vaccine. It also means there will be a lot more mandates coming.

FBI Report Notes “Scant Evidence” Mostly Peaceful Capitol Protest Was Coordinated

Democrats to call the FBI dupes of Trump. When they aren’t simply ignoring the report. Perhaps they’ll give it the Mueller Report treatment, which failed to give them the ammunition they wanted, so, they’ll want another report

Exclusive: FBI finds scant evidence U.S. Capitol attack was coordinated – sources

The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Though federal officials have arrested more than 570 alleged participants, the FBI at this point believes the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of then-President Donald Trump, according to the sources, who have been either directly involved in or briefed regularly on the wide-ranging investigations.

“Ninety to ninety-five percent of these are one-off cases,” said a former senior law enforcement official with knowledge of the investigation. “Then you have five percent, maybe, of these militia groups that were more closely organized. But there was no grand scheme with Roger Stone and Alex Jones and all of these people to storm the Capitol and take hostages.”

FBI investigators did find that cells of protesters, including followers of the far-right Oath Keepers and Proud Boys groups, had aimed to break into the Capitol. But they found no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do if they made it inside, the sources said.

Oops? It’s looking just like was stated early on: a bunch of people who were upset were using their 1st Amendment Right to Free Speech, protesting peaceably, and petitioning for redress of grievance, wanting to listen to Trump speak. Then some started getting jiggy with it, and decided to go to the seat of their elected officials, who are supposed to be responsive to the Citizens of the U.S.A. We are their bosses, not the other way around. And some went too far. We saw this happen during many of the BLM/Antifa protests, where a protest suddenly turned into mayhem, breaking and entering, looting, arson, property destruction, and assault. Most of which did not happen in the Capitol Building. Heck, many wandered around the Capitol while staying within the guidelines. Virtually no destruction. Certainly no arson.

They alleged that one Proud Boy leader recruited members and urged them to stockpile bulletproof vests and other military-style equipment in the weeks before the attack and on Jan. 6 sent members forward with a plan to split into groups and make multiple entries to the Capitol.

But so far prosecutors have steered clear of more serious, politically-loaded charges that the sources said had been initially discussed by prosecutors, such as seditious conspiracy or racketeering.

Because they cannot make those stick, and their BS charges.

But the FBI has so far found no evidence that Trump or people directly around him were involved in organizing the violence, according to the four current and former law enforcement officials.

Double bummer, eh?

A Life Destroyed for ‘Parading’ at the Capitol

After Robert Reeder was arrested in February and charged with four misdemeanors for his involvement in the Capitol protest on January 6, he lost his job as a truck driver for FedEx. “As a result of his arrest in this matter, he has been placed on administrative leave/has been terminated,” Reeder’s attorney wrote in court filing. “He has not been able to secure steady employment since being charged in this matter.”

Reeder, like many Americans who attended Donald Trump’s speech then walked to Capitol Hill, went alone. He is a registered Democrat but supported some of Trump’s policies. The Maryland resident decided to travel to Washington on the morning of January 6, a “spur of the moment” decision, according to his attorney.

After suffering the effects of tear gas and sting balls launched by police officers outside the building—a reality the news media still refuses to cover—Reeder went inside the building to look for water to rinse his eyes. From all accounts, he was allowed into the building. While inside, Reeder marveled at the beauty of the Capitol and urged others “do not destroy anything.” He asked police how he could get out of the building as the situation between law enforcement and protesters escalated. (snip)

Although Reeder has no criminal record and prosecutors admit he did not commit any violent crime on January 6, Biden’s Justice Department wants Reeder to go to jail for two months. He pleaded guilty to one count of “parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol Building,” a common low-level charge levied against hundreds of Americans who entered the Capitol building on January 6. Prosecutors want to make an example of Reeder despite the fact he essentially turned himself in to law enforcement and quickly negotiated a plea arrangement.

Wouldn’t engaging one’s 1st Amendment Rights about speech, protest, and grievance at the Capitol be exactly what the Framers were talking about, along with that part “Congress shall pass no law…or abridging…”? Read the rest.
