Usual Suspects Upset U.S. Not Participating In Global Redistributing Conference

The UN is playing games with 1st World vs 3rd World, and the Trump admin is refusing to participate. They want to take lots and lots of money from the rich to give to the poor. But, first

Britain ‘can no longer ignore’ ballooning national debt

Britain is among Western nations threatened with a fiscal crisis as state spending balloons and investors lose their appetite for government bonds.

In a veiled warning to Sir Keir Starmer after his about-turn on welfare cuts, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), said highly indebted countries can no longer keep borrowing vast sums to help plug funding gaps.

Given the threat of slow growth, high borrowing costs and geopolitical turmoil, Agustin Carstens, the BIS chief, said: “High levels of public debt are a significant vulnerability that governments can no longer ignore.”

Western nations are spending huge sums of money bringing in 3rd world people from around the world, people who are burdens to the state and do not assimilate. Next

Nations are meeting to drum up trillions to combat poverty — but the US isn’t going

Many of the world’s nations are gathering starting Monday in Spain for a high-level conference to tackle the growing gap between rich and poor nations and try to drum up trillions of dollars needed to close it. The United States, previously a major contributor, pulled its participation, so finding funding will be tough.

The four-day Financing for Development meeting in the southern city of Seville is taking place as many countries face escalating debt burdens, declining investments, decreasing international aid and increasing trade barriers.

“Financing is the engine of development. And right now, this engine is sputtering,” United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in his opening comments at the conference.

For all that money, how many of those poor countries are actually developing? How much has been dumped into those countries since the start of the Cold War

The U.N. and Spain, the conference co-hosts, believe the meeting is an opportunity to reverse the downward spiral, close the staggering $4 trillion annual financing gap to promote development, bring millions of people out of poverty and help achieve the U.N.’s wide-ranging and badly lagging Sustainable Development Goals for 2030.

Oh, so, they’re also linking it to the climate scam, despite dumping massive and absurd amounts of money into 3rd world shitholes via “climate change’.

“The government of Spain believes that this summit is an opportunity for us to change course, for us to raise our voice in the face of those who seek to convince us that rivalry and competition will set the tone for humanity and for its future,” Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez told the delegates as he inaugurated the conference.

The government of Spain has been bringing in 3rd World Muslims, allowing them to slowly take over the nation and turn it Islamist.

High-level delegations, including more than 70 world leaders, are attending in Seville, the U.N. said, along with several thousand others from international financial institutions, development banks, philanthropic organizations, the private sector and civil society.

At its last preparatory meeting on June 17, the United States rejected the 38-page outcome document that had been negotiated for months by the U.N.’s 193 member nations and announced its withdrawal from the process and from the Seville conference.

Trump is done giving unaccountable money to the UN, banks, and NGOs, who siphon it off, with a pittance making it to the intended poor folks. He is done giving 3rd world nations money with no strings attached. And he’s rather done with the UN, with its Jew hatred, support of Islamists, and America hatred.

Among the proposals and actions, it calls for minimum tax revenue of 15% of a country’s gross domestic product to increase government resources, a tripling of lending by multilateral development banks, and scaling up private financing by providing incentives for investing in critical areas like infrastructure. It also calls for a number of reforms to help countries deal with rising debt.

Can 1st World nations afford that, with their own ballooning deficits? Trump won’t do that. And it would require, at a minimum, Senate approval, and that won’t happen.

Your Fault: Global Boiling Could Maybe Alter The Flavor Of Your Gin And Tonic

Just to ruin the start of the week for all you gin and tonic lovers…or, heck, anyone who drinks gin (which tastes like paint thinner to me)

How climate change could alter the flavour of your gin and tonic forever

The flavour of gin and tonic may never be the same again due to climate change, a new study has suggested.

Scientists have found that volatile weather conditions, could change the taste of juniper berries – the botanical that gives the spirit its distinctive taste.

It could make the drink less floral, sweet, citrus, woody, earthy or musty than its current flavour, according to scientists from Heriot-Watt University’s International Centre for Brewing and Distilling (ICBD).

The same species of berry grown in different parts of the world contain different flavour compounds, just like wine. This is dependent on rainfall and sunshine, according to the study, published in the Journal of the Institute of Brewing.

Researchers put this to the test by distilling berries from different regions across Europe. This included Albania, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo and Italy all from varying harvest years.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. They grew grapes and made good wines in the U.K. during the last Holocene warm period, the Medieval Warm Period. The climate is always fluctuating. Growing cycles change, growing areas shift. Such is life on Earth.

The spirits were analysed by separating the compounds of the gin using gas chromatography to measure the levels of key flavour compounds.

It confirmed that each region had its own distinct chemical profile, which impacts the overall flavour of the gin.

Do they actually think juniper berries for gin are currently grown in once place? Well, yeah, because they are cultists.

That’s where they are growing. Heck, I could go the State Farmer’s Market and buy some. And make gin. I wouldn’t, again, nasty.

Iran’s Top Cleric Issues Fatwa For Trump, Netanyahu, And Basically Every Non-Muslim World Leader

You already have Ayatollah Ali Khamenei making threats, including against US troops. And now

Top Iranian cleric issues ‘fatwa’ against Trump, Netanyahu

Iran’s top Shiite cleric issued a religious decree against President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Sunday, an act some experts called an incitement to terrorism.

The fatwa from Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi called on Muslims around the world to take a stand, according to the New York Sun. It states that any individual or government that challenges or endangers the leadership and unity of the global Islamic community (the Ummah) is to be regarded as a “warlord” or a “mohareb,” defined as someone who wages war against God. Under Iranian law, those identified as mohareb can face execution, crucifixion, limb amputation, or exile.

“Those who threaten the leadership and integrity of the Islamic Ummah are to be considered warlords,” Makarem said in the ruling. He finished with a prayer asking for protection from these “enemies” and for the swift return of the Mahdi, a messianic figure in Shiite Islam.

Don’t forget, so many, most, really, of Iran’s top leadership believe in the whole twelfth Imam stuff, a bit more out there and extremist than others

British-Iranian commentator Niyak Ghorbani condemned the fatwa, describing it as a state-endorsed incitement to global terrorism.

He posted on his X account that the Islamic Republic’s aggression is not limited to domestic dissent but signals broader international ambitions for religiously motivated violence.

“The West must realise: the Islamic Republic is not only targeting its own people — it is preparing for global violence in the name of religion,” he wrote in the post.

Click the tweet for the full translation of the fatwa

But, liberals/leftists/Modern Socialists play the whole diversity/multiculturalism game, and won’t listen. There are plenty of those on the regular right in the 1st World who won’t listen, either. They do not understand that the extremists are at war. It is a religious war for them. They aren’t stopping. They are spreading. They’ve been spreading.

Senate GOP Goes After Biden’s Green Scam Subsidies

Without subsidies, grants, and loans that never get repaid, most of the green stuff would collapse

‘Outright Massacre’: Senate GOP Takes Sledgehammer To Biden’s Green Energy Subsidies

The Senate dealt a series of blows to solar and wind energy in the latest version of President Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful” bill — taking a page out of House Republicans’ playbook to crack down on green energy tax credits enacted under former President Joe Biden.

The Senate’s new proposal would move up the deadline for solar and wind projects hoping to qualify for production and investment tax credits by requiring them to produce electricity by the end of 2027. The additional cuts to green energy tax credits follows the president’s public broadside against the upper chamber’s initial proposal, which delayed the termination of solar and wind subsidies.

“Windmills, and the rest of this ‘JUNK,’ are the most expensive and inefficient energy in the world, is destroying the beauty of the environment, and is 10 times more costly than any other energy,” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social on June 21. “It is time to break away, finally, from this craziness!!!”

Personally, I’m fine with tax breaks for “green” energy projects, just like with oil, gas, nuclear, and coal (again, not a fan of coal). Government has basically been propping up the green energy sector with your money, while the companies charge high prices for the generated energy. Provided the projects even make it that far

The upper chamber’s revised bill would also create a new tax on wind and solar projects whose components are sourced from foreign entities of concern, such as China.

Senate Democrats referred to the creation of a new excise tax penalizing the renewable industry’s reliance on Chinese materials as “economic self-sabotage” and an “outright massacre” for the solar and wind industry.

Perhaps those Senate Dems should have their financials investigated to see how much they’re getting from China and how many investments they have linked to Chinese “green” projects. It is interesting that they are admitting that the solar and wind industry cannot survive without all the government money.

Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee was one of several GOP senators pushing the upper chamber to aggressively crack down on solar and wind tax credits in the president’s landmark bill. The Utah Republican favors a wholesale repeal of green energy subsidies, though Congress is likely to stop short of that given opposition from moderate Republicans.

Yeah, well, I doubt the big bill is going to pass. Democrats will filibuster it. There are not enough votes to move it with the 60 vote threshold, not unless Republicans want to nuke it. Oh, and there are multiple Republicans currently against it.

“If, as supporters of the IRA [Inflation Reduction Act] are complaining, repealing these subsidies will ‘kill’ their industry, then maybe it shouldn’t exist in the first place,” American Energy Alliance president Tom Pyle said in a statement Saturday. “Extending green giveaways on the backs of American taxpayers is shortsighted and neglectful.”

Exactly. Maybe they should push this in a separate bill.

Once Upon A Time Countries Should Keep Statehood If Their Land Disappears Under The Sea

Once upon a time = Experts Say. Anyhow, this is a new one from the cult

Countries should keep their statehood if land disappears under sea, experts say

States should be able to continue politically even if their land disappears underwater, legal experts have said.

The conclusions come from a long-awaited report by the International Law Commission that examined what existing law means for continued statehood and access to key resources if sea levels continue to rise due to climate breakdown.

If they have no land, how?

Average sea levels could rise by as much as 90cm (3ft) by 2100 if climate scientists’ worst-case scenarios come true, and recent research suggests they could even exceed projections. This is particularly important for small island developing states because many face an existential threat. But as well as the direct loss of land, rising sea levels cause flooding, threaten drinking water supplies and make farmland too salty to grow on.

“Could.” But won’t. There has been less than a foot of rise since the beginning of the 20th Century, and even the craziest tide gauge won’t give you more than a foot and half per 100 years, a lot because of land subsistence.

Having waded through international law and scholarship and analysed state views and practices, legal experts concluded that nothing prevents nations from maintaining their maritime boundaries even if the land on which they are drawn changes or disappears. These boundaries give countries navigation rights, access to resources such as fishing and minerals, and a degree of political control.

There is also general agreement that affected nations should retain their statehood to avoid loss of nationality. Legal experts say these conclusions are essential for maintaining international peace and stability.

Where would these people actually live, once their islands disappear (which hasn’t and won’t happen)?

The Pacific nation of Tuvalu has been particularly vocal in its concerns. Sea levels on its nine islands and atolls have already risen by 4.8mm and are expected to get much higher over the coming decades.

“Expected.” The tide gauge shows 3.92 per year for a short term gauge, and, like all the others, not accelerating. Also, they’ve turned their island into a shithole, creating problems with clean water. Also also, how do these “experts” think coral islands are created?

Australia was the first country to recognise the permanence of Tuvalu’s boundaries despite rising sea levels. In 2023, it signed a legally binding treaty committing to help Tuvalu respond to major disasters and offering special visas to citizens who want or need to move. Nearly a third of citizens have entered a ballot for such a visa. Latvia followed with a similar pledge of recognition.

So, basically, Australia will be allowing people to setup their own nation within Australia’s borders? Sounds stupid. But, this is a cult.

TPS For Haitians Ends In September

I can’t wait for some hardcore leftist judge to rule that this can’t be done. The 18 month TPS for Haitians started in January of 2023. But, there were some extensions by the Biden administration. The Executive Branch has every lawful right to terminate

U.S. to revoke immigration status of Haitian migrants in September

The Trump administration will revoke the legal status and work permits of hundreds of thousands of Haitian migrants in early September, arguing that conditions in Haiti have sufficiently improved for them to return home, the Department of Homeland Security announced Friday.

The department said it would terminate Haiti’s longstanding Temporary Protected Status program, which has allowed immigrants from the crisis-stricken Caribbean nation to live and work in the U.S. legally since 2010, following the devastating earthquake that year.

If they don’t qualify for another legal immigration status — like asylum or a green card — those who lose their TPS protections will become ineligible to work in the U.S. legally and eligible to be arrested and deported by federal immigration authorities.

I’m sure Democrat groups will be telling every single one of them to claim asylum. Hopefully the Trump admin has judges ready to adjudicate the claims in short order, send them back to the 3rd (4th?) world failed state of Haiti.

The Trump administration on Friday urged Haitians with TPS to voluntarily leave the U.S. by using a smartphone app that officials have converted into a system to facilitate self-deportations. The administration has warned immigrants in the U.S. illegally that if they don’t self-deport, they will be found, arrested and forcibly deported.

“This decision restores integrity in our immigration system and ensures that Temporary Protective Status is actually temporary,” DHS said in a statement. “The environmental situation in Haiti has improved enough that it is safe for Haitian citizens to return home.”

The government estimates that there are 348,187 Haitians in the U.S. with TPS, according to a DHS notice. The department said their TPS protections would lapse on Sept. 2.

Temporary. Not permanent. Import the 3rd world get the 3rd world. And when they are picked up they should be held in detention in high-toned and fancy to-do places like Martha’s Vineyard. Put them near the rich liberals.

Six-Month Extension of TPS for Haitians Could Come from Judge, Says Immigration Attorney Frandley Denis Julien

Haitian recipients of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) may soon receive a six-month extension through a judicial decision, according to immigration attorney Frandley Denis Julien.

The judge overseeing the case had previously stated that no ruling would be issued before the federal government made its decision — a response that was expected by June 4, Julien noted.

“We believe the judge will be forced to issue a decision in the next few hours or days,” said Julien during a live broadcast on Facebook. “It is very, very likely that the judge will decide to extend TPS until February 2026.”

Uncertain about the direction the federal government would take, the judge had opted not to make a decision prematurely, particularly one that might align with the Trump administration’s stance.

That was June 5th. And now the Supreme Court has ruled that federal judges are barred from making nationwide rulings. They have no Constitutional power to extend TPS. Congress gave that authority to the Executive Branch.

Bummer: New Zealand Pulls Out Of Global Coalition For Phasing Out Fossil Fuels

Maybe the powers that be realize they need fossil fuels for their own jaunts around the world? For their limos/SUVs? For airplanes and big ships bringing in tourists and goods, as well as exporting them?

From the link

The New Zealand government has quietly pulled out of an international coalition for phasing out fossil fuels.

The move follows the announcement of $200 million funding to support new drilling for fossil fuel fields at the Budget.

WWF NZ said it was a “shameful retreat from international climate leadership”.

“This isn’t just backsliding – it’s an international embarrassment,” chief executive Kayla Kingdon-Bebb said.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wonder how many of the people complaining still use fossil fuels themselves

Climate Change Minister Simon Watts said the catalyst for leaving the alliance was the government’s decision to repeal the previous government’s ban on new offshore oil and gas exploration.

Watts said the government was committed to its climate targets.

“As we undertake our energy transition towards lower emissions fuels, natural gas will play an important role in the stability of this system until viable alternatives are in place.

“With falling domestic production presenting as a real risk to our future energy needs, the government has been looking at all options to extend the supply of gas as a critical energy source. This includes repealing the current ban on offshore oil and gas exploration and the setting aside of a tagged contingency of $200 million over four years for co-investment in new gas fields through Budget 2025.”

I’m guessing they realized that “going green” was creating some serious problems for the Elites in New Zealand. They didn’t really care about the average Kiwi.

The Green Party said the move was the latest sign the government cared little for the climate crisis or its impacts on the cost of living.

Green Party co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick said the coalition’s fossil fuel subsidies helped secure profits of fossil fuel executives but made life harder for regular people.

Hmm, those two paragraphs do not really jibe, do they?
