Democrats Turn On Kamala 2028

Report: Kamala Harris ‘Lays Groundwork’ for 2028 Campaign

Former Vice President Kamala Harris is laying the groundwork for a third presidential campaign, speaking with major donors, hiring staff, and traveling to battleground states, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

The former vice president has told associates she remains undecided on another White House run, but she has taken steps that could precede a 2028 bid, the Journal reported, citing multiple people familiar with the conversations.

Harris has publicly tied her plans to the November midterms, telling a NAACP event in Michigan last month that the next cycle depends on this one.

“I have not decided if I’m going to run again,” Harris said, drawing a lengthy standing ovation. “I do sincerely believe ‘28 won’t matter if we don’t get through ‘26.”

Kamala Harris has kept the door open to running for president again in 2028. What she failed to do over the past year, even one-time supporters and allies of the former vice president say, is give voters a reason to reconsider her if she does.

For Harris, according to interviews with nearly 20 Democratic Party donors and strategists in California and across the country, it was a missed opportunity to redefine herself — and ultimately a wasted year.

“She totally blew it,” said Doug Herman, who was a lead mail strategist for Barack Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns. “She hasn’t gotten into the mix.”

Harris has offered voters almost nothing in the way of specifics about how she would remake a Democratic Party hungry for change after another term of Donald Trump. She hasn’t spoken to how she would expand her own appeal to the voters who rejected her and she remains as reticent of media as ever, continuing to favor appearances before friendly audiences and at times drawing fire for shutting out news organizations altogether. She has entirely sidestepped the ideological civil war consuming the Democrats and has acted more like a party elder at a time when voters and donors are demanding a break with the past.

When a leading Democrat run political news outlet like Politico runs this that is pretty darned bad, especially when it is big wigs, both money and politically, in the Democrat party poo pooing her chances. Knowing they do not want to give her money and help. Because what does Kamala stand for? She blew two previous primaries, and dropped out of the 2020 race when it had barely started. Is there anyone clamoring for her to run? I think most want her to go away. Including the Democrat big wigs.

Who would be the front runner, though?

Atlanta kicks off inaugural Climate Week to discuss climate change’s impact on region

Atlanta has officially launched its first-ever Climate Week, gathering environmental leaders, civic officials, and advocates across the region to confront the growing realities of climate change and discuss tangible solutions.

From rising temperatures to historic flash flooding, officials note that climate impacts are no longer a distant threat. According to data referenced from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), extreme weather conditions are actively shaping the current forecast.

One focus of the inaugural event is amplifying environmental education through unexpected cultural avenues, including hip-hop.

Atlanta’s Grammy-nominated hip-hop duo, EARTHGANG, stepped into the conversation fresh off their second visit to the United Nations, where they addressed the ongoing global climate crisis. Known for weaving environmental themes into their work, the duo took their appreciation for the outdoors a step further in their latest project by integrating the natural sounds of Georgia’s native wildlife and insects, including cicadas, directly into their music.

LOL: Illegals At Georgia Detention Center Go On Hunger Strike Over Conditions

You know how they could avoid what they call “bad conditions” (which aren’t, it’s all made up to create sympathy): leave the U.S.

Approximately 500 people in a Coastal Georgia immigration detention center are on a hunger strike, protesting conditions at the facility as well as what they say are violations of asylum protocols by U.S. authorities, according to family members and legal representatives.

Samantha Hamilton, senior litigation staff attorney at Asian Americans Advancing Justice Atlanta (AAAJ), said most of the people participating in the civil disobedience came to the United States seeking asylum from authoritarian and repressive national governments. The hunger strikers say they were following the legal process for their immigration claims, yet have been at the privately run Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Folkston for months or years awaiting judicial hearings.

Horseshit. Most came here for all the free stuff the Democrats promised them. No one said they couldn’t or wouldn’t be held until such time as their (BS) asylum claims were adjudicated. And how much “civil disobedience” is it when you refuses to eat? Have fun

The hunger strike is the latest controversy at the Charlton County facility, which is run by The GEO Group and, despite numerous complaints about unsafe conditions, is expanding to become the largest ICE detention center in the nation.

“There’s nothing illegal about seeking asylum. There’s nothing illegal about seeking sanctuary,” said Hamilton. “So this is just the natural next step in a long-time struggle of people being detained at this facility.”

Maybe not, but, there’s nothing in the law that says they cannot be detained until such time as said claims go through the system, at which time 10% or less are approved, and the rest get sent home.

“Some of us have been detained for months. Some people have been here for years. We are not serving criminal sentences. We are asking the United States for protection,” one of the detainees said in an audio recording obtained by The Current GA. “We are afraid that what inspectors see will not show how we normally live. We have serious concerns about the food, sleep conditions, medical care, and the length of our detention.”

Then tell ICE you want to leave the US. They’ll give you some money and a free flight out. It is that easy.

Aussie Climate Officials Face Drastic Cuts, AI Replacing Them

It seems to be getting to a spot where even unhinged Warmists governments like Australia are moving away from the doomsday cult, perhaps realizing that it is no longer working to implement soft Fascism on the peasants with scary tactics. And it’s just too damned expensive

Australia’s climate change officials face drastic cuts and AI efficiencies

Australia’s climate change bureaucrats were urged to cut up to 30% of their internal budgets, and hit AI-driven efficiencies of up to 3% a year, to preserve the department’s ability to deliver its highest priorities.

In a May 2026 review of priorities, the government’s internal consulting unit called for climate change executives to impose a levy of between 5% and 30% to “policy group budgets” as a matter of “immediate fiscal imperative.”

“The proposed approach requires all groups to contribute to a central funding pool that is reallocated to the highest departmental priorities,” according to the Australian Government Consulting report, seen by POLITICO.

The review exposes the intensity of funding pressures at the department, which was hit with cuts of 188 million Australian dollars in the 2026 federal budget. The department is expected to cut funding to
$747 million in 2028-29, down from $1.09 billion this financial year.

Not that I want them to keep spending all that stupid money, but, seriously, if they cut the graft, waste, and abuse out of the spending they would easily have the money to do the things they want to do even at that reduced funding. But, you know, they have spread the money around to friends, family, NGOs, and others, who all take a big cut to do almost nothing.

The department said some of the cuts reflect the end of projects such as the COP31 climate conference, and the transfer of funding to the newly established National Environmental Protection Agency.

COP 31 is in Turkey, so, um, what? Perhaps they could stop spending so much on a scam and actually use it to help real environmental concerns.

Quiet part out loud: Anti-Israel mobs want one state called ‘Palestine,’ erasing Israel

This weekend, millions of anti-Israel activists marched through the streets of cities in coordinated actions from America’s capital to London, Paris, Madrid and Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia, chanting the familiar refrains of “Free, free Palestine” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

But for the first time, communicated frankly in exclusive interviews with Fox News Digital, three anti-Israel leaders acknowledged the goal: one state called “Palestine” encompassing modern-day Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, with a Palestinian “right of return” to the new country and equal political, voting and citizenship rights for Palestinians alongside Jews currently living in Israel.

Most significantly, in the political vision they described, Israel would legally cease to exist as a separate Jewish nation-state and Jews would be quickly overwhelmed demographically.

The candor of the anti-Israel leaders lays bare the political conclusion of an argument that activists have spent years advancing on the streets, through sympathetic media outlets and in legal forums: that Israel is a “settler colonial” state practicing “apartheid” and “genocide,” and therefore should not continue to exist in its current form as a Jewish state. Israeli leaders have fiercely rejected those allegations, disputing accusations of “genocide” and “apartheid” and maintaining that Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people with equal civil and political rights for citizens that include Jews, Christians and Muslims.

Advocates for Israel note that the nation’s critics rarely apply the same historical lens of human-rights analysis to Arab and Muslim-majority states, many of which emerged from the collapse of empires, wars and population upheavals that displaced millions, including Jews expelled from their countries, today often restricting political, religious and minority rights.

Yes, they do want Israel gone and replaced. The Useful Idiots on the political left do not get that the Islamists want it erased with an Islamist caliphate. And all Jews killed. When they cosplay with their Intifada Keffiyeh and chant “from the river to the sea” that’s what it means. And all the Israel hate as pushed by the Islamists, especially those Muslim Brotherhood backed groups like the Muslim Student Association on campus and some leading individuals, morphs (intentionally, that’s what the MB wants) into Jew hatred. Will anyone of the Comrades get it and walk away, or, are they too brainwashed?

In New York City, the Party for Socialism and Liberation circulated video of protesters marching through the streets chanting: “1-2-3-4. Occupation no more. 5-6-7-8. Israel is a terrorist state.”

Then came the point: “We don’t want no two state!”

In London, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign promoted a 15-second video of a woman with a megaphone shouting: “There is only one state!”

Again, this is nothing new, they’ve been doing this crap for a long time, but, especially since the terror attack by Hamas. It always is worth repeating to highlight the insanity.

Wow: Federal Agents Searched Ilhan Omar’s House

Federal agents search Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home as part of a criminal investigation

Federal agents searched Democratic U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar’s home on Monday as part of a criminal investigation, according to two people familiar with the matter.

The search was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations agents, said the people, who were not authorized to publicly discuss an ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity. More details about the investigation and its focus were not immediately clear, though Vice President JD Vance last May signaled that the Trump administration would investigate Omar for immigration fraud allegations, which she has denied.

The Justice Department said in a statement Monday that HSI agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the department in the Washington, D.C., area but provided no other details.

“This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal criminal investigation,” the department said.

While the article goes toward Trump talking about her immigration, I would hypothesize that this was linked to all the fraud in Minnesota, as she has lots of links to the financial fraud that was occurring. But

Fox News reported based on unnamed sources familiar with the matter that agents were examining the immigration paperwork that the congresswoman’s father filled out when she was a child.

(CNBC) Federal authorities on Monday morning raided the Washington, D.C., area home of Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Minnesota Democrat, as part of a criminal fraud investigation into her immigration paperwork filled out by her father, Fox News reported, citing a person familiar with the situation.

The Department of Justice later confirmed the raid when asked about it by CNBC.

The DOJ did not confirm the raid was about immigration fraud.

If Government Acts Now, They Can Stop 17 “Catastrophic Threats”

More than a dozen “interconnected catastrophic threats” pose significant risk to global health and wellbeing through the remainder of the 21st century, researchers say – including the potential for extinction. But targeted action from world leaders can help avoid worst-case scenarios.

Using data from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation’s Global Burden of Disease study, a commission of 35 leaders from various industries forecast the total years of good health that could be lost by the global population by due to sickness, disability or premature mortality from a range of threats.

Their findings, published in the journal The Lancet, identify 17 threats that pose the greatest danger – but also have the potential for realistic intervention.

The threats include health conditions and behaviors – such obesity, high blood pressure, smoking and mental health – as well as economic conditions, environmental change, technology and conflict.

That’s terrible. How to respond?

“Across all 17 catastrophic threats, the decisions made by leaders today will shape the health and wellbeing of the next generation. But delaying action will only serve to shift and increase the costs into the future,” Murray said in a statement.

So, Government controlling our lives? Huh. How about that? Strange that a supposed scientific paper would be so, oh, political.

Two threats pose a risk of extinction, the commission found: nuclear conflict and the malicious use of artificial intelligence.

Well, Trump has been trying to stop Iran, a nation that would use nukes. But, this seems to be driven by the current freakout over artificial intelligence, as the article goes on and on about how doomy it is. I’m guessing ‘climate change’ is dying out as a method of pushing governmental control, eh?

PRC Looks To Raise Cost Of Health Plans While Spending Billions On Illegals

California faces unlikely tax revolt amid billions in illegal immigrant healthcare costs

As California grapples with soaring Medi-Cal costs — including billions spent on healthcare for immigrants without legal status — Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democratic lawmakers have backed a revised health-plan tax in response to new federal restrictions, a move critics warn could shift more costs onto privately insured Californians.

The tax has united an unlikely coalition of doctors and health insurers against him, with critics warning it could make California even more expensive.

To preserve billions in Medi-Cal financing after Washington tightened the rules governing health-plan taxes used to draw federal matching funds, Newsom backed a redesigned tax that would raise the levy on private health plans beginning in 2027 if federally approved, potentially increasing premiums for their customers. Providing healthcare to illegal immigrants cost California an estimated $12.4 billion in 2025, the Associated Press reported.

“The One Big Beautiful Bill Act limited California’s ability to target the tax just on Medicaid insurers, so California is proposing to raise the health insurance tax on people that have private coverage … the estimates are that would increase insurance for families by $400 a year,” he told Fox News Digital. “That is just because California doesn’t want to deal with its unsustainable spending … there are many people on the program who are not eligible for the program, and that is not even accounting for the fact that California has expanded Medicaid to all unauthorized immigrants in the state.”

So, instead of booting illegals off public systems, cracking down on fraud, waste, and graft, and being fiscally responsible the People’s Republic Of California government, run by Democrats in full, since there are not enough Republicans to stop them, will simply just take more money from the peasants.

The California Medical Association and California Association of Health Plans are suing to block the tax increase, not on the grounds that it benefits illegal immigrants, but over allegations that the measure violates voter-approved limits on health-plan taxes and restrictions on how the resulting revenue can be spent. The duo uniting to challenge the tax is notable because doctors and insurance companies often find themselves on opposite sides of healthcare debates.

Proposition 35, the initiative in question, limits how much California can tax commercial health-plan enrollment, constraining the state’s options as it tries to comply with new federal rules governing the much higher tax previously imposed on Medi-Cal enrollment. The proposition was passed with overwhelming support from Californian voters.

No one thinks the Democrats who run the PRC give a damn about Prop 35, right? That they won’t find a way around it, right?
