Can’t wait for yet another whiny lawsuit within a few days

Trump signs proclamations granting two-year relief from Biden-era EPA regulations

U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday signed four proclamations granting two years of regulatory relief from Biden-era Environmental Protection Agency regulations, the White House said.

The proclamations cover coal plants, taconite iron ore processing facilities and certain chemical manufacturers that produce chemicals related to semiconductors, medical device sterilization, advanced manufacturing, and national defense systems, according to the White House.

Let’s look at the order

The exemptions ensure that these facilities within these critical industries can continue to operate uninterrupted to support national security without incurring substantial costs to comply with, in some cases, unattainable compliance requirements.

Biden-era emissions standards impose costly and, in some cases, unattainable compliance requirements on these industries essential to national interests.

The technologies necessary to comply with these Biden-era standards are further not commercially viable in many instances.

Many of Biden’s, well, his advisor’s, orders were impossible to comply with, and were simply meant to shut companies down.

Here’s the thing: Executive Orders under one president can be cancelled out by another president’s EOs. Rules can be temporarily waived. And then rules can be cancelled. Most of what Biden was doing was all for ‘climate change’, and really made no difference except killing companies.

ICE Given Access To Medicaid Records To Track Down Illegals

I’m not sure why Democrats are so incensed by this, because they keep saying

ICE will get access to Medicaid enrollees’ personal information

The Trump administration will start sharing the personal information of nearly 79 million Medicaid enrollees, including home addresses and ethnicities, with federal immigration authorities as the president seeks to ramp up deportations.

In a statement to NBC News on Thursday, Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin described the latest data-sharing agreement between her agency and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as “an initiative” to ensure undocumented immigrants don’t access Medicaid benefits.

The Associated Press first reported the new agreement, which hasn’t been made public yet.

Immigrants who lack legal status and some lawfully present immigrants are already barred from enrolling in Medicaid, a federal health services program that provides nearly free coverage to beneficiaries. Yet federal law requires all states to offer emergency Medicaid, temporary coverage that pays only for lifesaving services in emergency rooms to anyone regardless of immigration status.

Medicaid is a jointly funded program between states and the federal government.

Does anyone really think they aren’t getting Medicaid in deep Democrat states? Because if they weren’t Democrats wouldn’t care.

Under the agreement, officials from Immigration and Customs Enforcement will use Medicaid data to get identity and location information of people ICE believes are in the country unlawfully, the AP reported.

ICE will have access to a database that includes the names, addresses, birth dates, ethnic and racial information, as well as Social Security numbers for all people enrolled in Medicaid, the AP reported. The agreement allows ICE to review the database only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Sept. 9. It isn’t allowed to download the data.

Obviously, ICE knows something. They aren’t just on a fishing expedition, which would be a big waste of manpower. They know what they’re looking for.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta said the state is moving quickly to obtain a court order to block the sharing of data for immigration enforcement.

If there is nothing there why bother?

Climate “Scientists” Super Concerned About Coming Winter Weather From Too Much Heat

Scientist issue warning about concerning phenomenon ahead of upcoming winter season: ‘Keeps the surface cooler’

Experts have projected record low levels of Arctic sea ice for the coming winter, which counterintuitively could mean frigid conditions for the United States, Canada, and Europe, Severe Weather Europe reported. (big snip through cult blah)

Less Arctic sea ice during the winter months also means higher temperatures in the atmosphere, which can weaken or even collapse the polar vortex, according to Severe Weather Europe.

The condition of the polar vortex influences everyday weather around the globe.

“A strong/stable polar vortex usually means strong polar circulation and jet stream,” Severe Weather Europe explained. “This locks the colder air into the Arctic Circle, creating milder conditions for most of the United States and warmer-than-normal conditions over southern Canada.”

A weaker and more unstable polar vortex, on the other hand, weakens the jet stream, which allows cold air to escape from the Arctic region and descend upon the U.S. and Canada.

In other words, winter is going to be colder and snowier and stuff because you drive a planet boiling fossil fueled vehicle.

Meanwhile, one of my favorite rocker went cult (couldn’t be due to low ticket sales, right? Especially with no new albums since 2011, and your last big album was 1982? With six not so good since Abracadabra?)

Long Overdue: Senator Cruz Submits Bill Designating Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Organization

The Muslim Brotherhood has long been one of the main roots of Islamic extremism and terrorism around the world. There’s a reason Egypt bans them. Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Al Qaeda, ISIS, and so many more have heavy links to the MB, really going back to the around the late 1930s. But, the MB doesn’t just want violence, they want to spread by soft power, infiltrating Western worlds and pushing them towards Islamic extremism

Ted Cruz Introduces Bill to Label Muslim Brotherhood a Foreign Terrorist Group

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) reintroduced legislation Wednesday to officially designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, marking the latest push in his decade-long crusade to impose sanctions on the worldwide Islamist network that spawned Hamas and other terror groups threatening American interests.

The Texas Republican’s Muslim Brotherhood Terrorist Designation Act of 2025 employs a new “bottom up” strategy designed to overcome previous Democratic opposition by first identifying Brotherhood branches that explicitly engage in terrorism before designating the entire organization for supporting those terror affiliates.

“The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization, and it provides support to Muslim Brotherhood branches that are terrorist organizations,” Cruz declared in a statement. “One of those branches is Hamas, which on October 7 committed the worst single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, which included the murder and kidnapping of at least 53 Americans.”

Cruz emphasized the urgency of the designation, noting that the Brotherhood remains “committed to the overthrow and destruction of America and other non-Islamist governments across the world, and pose an acute threat to American national security interests.”

Most of what you see happening in London, Paris, EU nations, Australia, Canada, has its roots in the MB plan for a soft takeover. The United Nations making blasphemy against the “Prophet” (and pedophile) Muhammed forbidden is part of the plan. Canada forbidding insulting Islam and prosecuting is part of the plan.

The legislation formally codifies the connection between Hamas and its parent organization, stating in the bill text that “Hamas is a Muslim Brotherhood branch, according to its charter; which describes Hamas as ‘one of the wings of the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine.’” The bill further notes that “on October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists committed the worst 1-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, which included the murder, kidnapping, or disappearance of at least 53 United States citizens.”

Will Democrats support legislation that goes against the group looking to kill Jews?

The legislation takes a fundamentally different approach from Cruz’s previous attempts in 2015, 2017, 2020, and 2021, which faced criticism for potentially sweeping up Brotherhood affiliates that weren’t directly involved in violence. Speaking on his podcast Tuesday, Cruz outlined the strategic shift designed to overcome past objections.

Cruz acknowledged that previous efforts stumbled because critics argued that not all Brotherhood branches were actively engaged in violence, making a blanket designation difficult to justify. The new approach flips the methodology, beginning with clear identification of Brotherhood-supported groups that indisputably engage in terrorism before building the case for designating the parent organization.

His previous legislation was better, because it’s the “soft power” that is more insidious. Who would have thought that London would look like it does? That wasn’t created via violence. You have the Muslim Student Association here in the US, for instance, which pushes Islamic extremism on campus. Pushes Israel and Jew hatred. And America hatred. But, maybe, the more limited legislation will be a start.

Will Democrats try and block it? That would be a direct response from the MB affiliates using their soft power to influence the Democrats over the past 3-4 decades.

NY’s Hurricane Insured Loss Potential Up More Than 60% as Climate Changes

Insurance industry scientists put the spotlight on Northern U.S. cities in a new research paper about hurricane potential under a warmer climate scenario, finding that New York’s insured losses could rise by more than 60 percent.

Sam Phibbs and Ed L. Pope, the authors of “Insured U.S. Hurricane Loss Under a 2°C Warmer Climate,” also found that Rhode Island and Massachusetts may see increases of over 70 percent in average annual insurance hurricane loss under a climate scenario that is 2°C warmer than pre-industrial climate compared to a present-day climate (defined as 1.1°C above pre-industrial). “These results suggest building codes applied in Gulf Coast states should be applied at higher latitudes to mitigate current and future impacts of climate change,” wrote the authors, who were both members of MS Amlin’s catastrophe research team. (Editor’s Note: Phipps is now Natural Catastrophe Lead for Hiscox, according to his LinkedIn profile.)

To conduct their analysis, the catastrophe research scientists relied on a third-party climate change dataset provided by Reask—specifically, regional rates of change in landfall rate for different intensities of tropical cyclone for a 2°C climate compared to the present-day climate. They then used the data to adjust MS Amlin’s simulated 100,000 year view of landfall rates for the U.S. (which is based on Moody’s medium-term rates, validated to be an appropriate representation of the present-day climate.)

So, all simulated rather than real world, and all based on “we think”. What about the Long Island Hurricane of 1938, when CO2 was below the safe level of 350ppm?

New York, ranked fourth in terms of absolute insured losses by state under both the present day and warmer climate scenarios, sees a 64 percent jump for a warmer climate.

So, they’re prognosticating a whole lot more hurricane landfalls for NY? OK. Who gets fired when this doesn’t happen?

Heartache: LA County Sheriff Transferring Illegals To ICE

There’s some teeth gnashing going on amongst the illegal alien supporters in the Los Angeles area, particularly those who make sure that the illegal criminals stay far away from their fancy-pants homes

L.A. County jails are handing inmates over to ICE for the first time in years

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has resumed transferring jail inmates to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for the first time in years, despite local sanctuary policies that aim to shield people from deportation.

Eight inmates were released to ICE in May and a dozen more in June, according to sheriff’s department records reviewed by The Times. Eleven are Mexican, six are Guatemalan, and one each is from Colombia, El Salvador and Honduras. Their ages ranged from 19 to 63 years old.

The transfers to ICE are the first by the sheriff’s department since early 2020, when records show 43 people were sent to federal immigration custody from sheriff’s stations, jails and courts. That marked a steep decline from the 457 handed over in 2019, during President Trump’s first term.

The sheriff’s department and legal experts say the recent transfers were lawful and conducted in accordance with sanctuary policies and ordinances approved in recent years by the state, L.A. County and cities including Los Angeles, Long Beach and West Hollywood.

The LASD received warrants signed by federal judges, and, really, had no option but to hand the criminal illegals over.

Sanctuary laws generally forbid local authorities from enforcing civil immigration laws, but there are exceptions for cases that involve criminal offenses. The recent transfers, the sheriff’s department said, involved warrants for illegally reentering the country after having been previously deported, a federal crime that can carry a multiyear prison sentence.

Is that what they were being held for? Does anyone think that the LASD or LAPD arrested and detained these illegals over that? Or, for something else criminal, and then realized they were illegally present, and someone contacted ICE (when they are not supposed to) or ICE saw the arrest reports?

On the other side of the country in a different sanctuary city

Immigrants File Class-Action Lawsuit to Stop ICE Courthouse Arrests

A coalition of legal groups representing immigrants filed a class-action lawsuit against the Trump administration on Wednesday, arguing that the federal government’s campaign to arrest people at immigration courthouses so that they can be swiftly deported is unlawful and violates due process protections.

The lawsuit, filed by Democracy Forward and three other legal organizations on behalf of 12 immigrants, aims to stop the arrests at immigration courts, a contentious tactic that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency began using in May to increase deportations nationwide.

So, they want to stop ICE from picking up illegals in a safe location as the illegals go to court for….to quote Excitable Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson…(wait for it)…. breaking the law? They don’t want illegals picked up in the streets, at schools, churches, shopping malls, restaurants, or their homes, and now court houses, so, where can they pick them up? Oh, right, they do not want them detained and deported no matter what, even if they are a child rapist.

The lawsuit was filed in the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia against the Department of Justice, which oversees the immigration courts; the Department of Homeland Security; and ICE. Several officials at federal agencies also were sued.

The plaintiffs include 12 immigrants, identified only by pseudonyms, from Cuba, Ecuador, Guinea, Venezuela and elsewhere. Many had entered the country without authorization from 2021 to 2024 and had applied for asylum. They were arrested when they showed up at courthouses this year. Most are in detention — in New York, Pennsylvania and Texas — and fear persecution in their home countries, the lawsuit said.

Well, we know that whatever crazy liberal judge gets this they’ll rule in favor of the illegals, and probably try the nationwide injunction thing, despite what the Supreme Court said, and then the judge will be smacked down, either by a courts of appeal or SCOTUS.

Dems Want To Stop Cuts To Climate (scam) Funding

These would be the same Democrats who refuse to give up their own use of fossil fuels and take the train instead of flights, right?

Democrats eye changes to climate spending clawbacks

Democratic senators are plotting ways to reduce or eliminate proposed cuts to international clean energy and climate programs in the White House’s rescissions package ahead of crucial Senate votes this week.

The eleventh-hour push to narrow the scope of the energy and environment clawbacks comes as the chamber prepares to finalize and then pass the Trump administration’s first set of formal funding repeals focused on public broadcasting and foreign aid.

The effort to strike the cuts may not succeed amid growing Republican momentum behind the package and some White House concessions to GOP lawmakers.

But it could give Democrats yet another platform from which to bash the GOP for pursuing policies that they say will threaten energy security, raise electricity prices and further erode the United States’ reputation as a global leader in the fight against climate change.

No one believes this but Politico. Solar and wind are not reducing energy prices, and are also making energy less reliable. But, the government money is a great way to hook up campaign donors to Democrats.

The legislation needs only a simple majority to pass, and it must get the president’s signature by midnight Friday in order to rescind the funds in question.

The legislation, championed by Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought, would target the United States’ fiscal 2025 contributions to multilateral environmental efforts such as the Montreal Protocol and the Clean Technology Fund.

It would repeal $496 million in already appropriated funds for international disaster and humanitarian aid. And it would claw back millions more approved dollars for economic assistance and foreign aid programs that often address environmental issues abroad.

It’s all scam money, which ends up in the pockets of Dem friendly NGOs and companies, and does little to help the people it is reportedly meant to help.

“How many people went to the polls and told politicians to spend $7.4 million of their hard-earned money on teaching foreign countries about ‘environmental racism’? No one,” Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) quipped on the Senate floor, referring to a program the administration says the bill will target.

It all adds up. And most goes into someone’s pocket. None of this is authorized by the Constitution as specific spending priority.

DHS Sends “Uniquely Barbaric” Illegals To African Nation of Eswatini

U.S. sends deportees convicted of violent crimes to small African country of Eswatini

The Trump administration on Tuesday said it deported a group of men convicted of violent crimes to the small African country of Eswatini, in its latest expansion of deportations to far-flung places that are not deportees’ home countries.

Department of Homeland Security spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said the deportees hailed from Cuba, Jamaica, Laos, Vietnam and Yemen, and had been convicted of serious crimes in the U.S. The men’s criminal records included convictions for murder, homicide and child rape, McLaughlin added.

The deported men, McLaughlin said, are “so uniquely barbaric that their home countries refused to take them back.”

It’s unclear what will immediately happen to the men sent to Eswatini, a landlocked country in southern Africa that was formerly known as Swaziland. The tiny nation is slightly bigger in size than Connecticut, has around 1.2 million residents and is ruled by a king.

Does anyone really care? I don’t. Do you? They’re out of the U.S. We don’t want them here. Maybe next time we can drop them on an uninhabited island in Indonesia. No one buy the hardcore illegal supporting Democrats are going to miss them or even think about them, but, those same hardcores wouldn’t want them in their own neighborhoods. Will these horrible people be locked up or just released and left to their own devices? Maybe they will be fed to the small number of gangs.

‘My dad isn’t a criminal’: Facing charges, scared detainees choose fast-track deportation

In a cold courtroom in downtown, Isabela Hurtado sat in a wooden pew. It had been over a month since she last saw her father.

On May 29, she watched him get ready for work at a construction site near the capital city’s CollegeTown. When she next saw him, on July 2, he was in an orange jumpsuit, shackled by the hands and ankles, waiting to see a federal judge.

“All I wanted to do in that moment was cry, but I had to contain myself,” Hurtado, 19, said.

She looked at her dad, Juan Hurtado Solano, seated next to his public defender. He turned around and smiled. Minutes later, he pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the United States, a federal crime with a potential punishment of up to two years in prison and $250,000 fine.

The law says re-entry after being deported is a felony. So, yes, daddy is a criminal

Amid President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration, more people are being charged for illegal reentry into the United States. And many of those defendants are pleading guilty and agreeing not to challenge their case or removal because of fears of getting stuck in the immigration system, spending more time in detention or being deported to a country that is not their own.

So they choose fast-track and self-deportation. Unfortunately, they will surely try to re-enter again. We should drop them on an uninhabited island off the coast of Alaska with a knife and tent for punishment.

“My dad isn’t a criminal,” Hurtado said. “My dad is literally a person who works every day, goes home, takes care of family, and that’s that.”

The law says he is a criminal. There are lots of parents who work hard, take care of their families, and are criminals. No one one writes puff pieces when they go to jail. Only if they’re illegals do they get this treatment.
