NY Times Calls For Democrats To Never Campaign Near Where An Illegal Alien Committed A Crime

Well, no, of course not, the Editorial Board is Very Upset over a Donald Trump fundraiser

Mr. Trump Reopens the Wounds of a Hate Crime

Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at a Republican Party fund-raiser on Thursday in Patchogue, a village on the south shore of Long Island, about 60 miles from Manhattan.

This is a wretched development, a disgraceful provocation by the Suffolk County Republicans and their chairman, John Jay LaValle, who invited him.

There is no place that should welcome Mr. Trump’s politics, but the choice of Patchogue is particularly repellent. Patchogue is where Marcelo Lucero, an Ecuadorean immigrant, was fatally stabbed in 2008 by a white teenager, one of a marauding gang of high school boys who had made a nighttime sport of assaulting Latino men. The Republicans will be toasting Mr. Trump in a dance hall called the Emporium, on the same street as the crime scene, steps away from where Mr. Lucero fell.

That attack helped to identify Long Island with vicious anti-immigrant attitudes and violence. After the killing, scores of Latino residents came forward to say that they, too, had been hunted and harassed by white youths for years. The Suffolk County Police Department had routinely ignored their complaints; widespread reports of racial profiling and other police abuses prompted a Justice Department investigation and oversight.

Why is there so much hate in a county that typically votes majority Democrat? And while the attack was certainly disgraceful, is the New York Times Editorial Board really advocating that no candidate should hold a campaign rally anywhere near where something shameful happened? Because that would leave lots of areas where Democrats cannot go. Hillary and Bernie support open borders and illegal aliens, even ones who have committed crimes. Well, a goodly chunk of California would be out of bounds, as would NY City and other areas. The Democrats are the party of the KKK, segregation, Jim Crow, and slavery. That means the majority of the South is out of bounds.

Of course, the NYTEB is not advocating any of that. They are simply manufacturing Apoplexy and Outrage. They create Offendedness for the sake of being Offended, because they despise Donald Trump. Seriously, there are many things to complain about when it comes to Trump: this is silly. But, then, this is what Democrats worry about. Things like ISIS, radical Islam, illegal aliens bringing crime and disease, tyrannical government, none of them seem to worry Democrats.

Trump Supporter Ticketed For Flying Trump Flag

Whether or not you are a fan of Donald Trump, things like this should concern you

(NJ.com)  A West Long Branch man has been ticketed for flying Donald Trump flags outside his home.

The police department says he’s in violation of a municipal ordinance prohibiting the display of lawn signs more than 30 days before an election.

The resident, Joseph Hornick, says the ordinance doesn’t apply to him because he’s flying flags — not displaying lawn signs. He contends banning his flags is a violation of his right to free speech.

The original article at NJ.com is here, and notes that he could be fined $2,000 for this, and that he will not give up. Nor should he. Hit either link to see the pictures of the flags, which do not say anything like “Elect Trump”. The poll at the first link is running around 88% in favor of Hornick. If the flag was for Hillary, Bernie, Obama, you name it, it should be allowed. This is our Free Speech.

Climate Change Is Worse Than Terrorism Says Advisor Of Terrorist Country

Welcome to Pakistan, a nation heavy with Islamic terrorists, Taliban, and Islamic radicals and sympathizers. A nation that has been hit with numerous terrorist attacks, and is continuously trying to fend off radicalization. But, hey, Hotcoldwetdry

(Pakistan Observer) Adviser on Foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz has stated that the climate change poses a greater danger to Pakistan than does terrorism. Massive floods, droughts in some areas while heavy rains in the other areas are some effects of climate change. Another aspect of climate change is heat wave that has badly affected Pakistan especially Sindh. In June 2015, a severe heat wave struck Sindh, particularly Karachi that put the citizens in adverse circumstances.

So, Hotcoldwetdry. In a nation that has had floods, droughts, etc, you know, weather, forever.

Frequent electric power break down and water shortage further added to their woes. In this dreadful situation the Provincial government was seen absolutely unresponsive and apathetic despite the warnings and predictions made by Met office. It could be witnessed in the failure of government hospitals to treat the patients of heat strokes because of lack of ambulances and unavailability of other basic medical necessities. Heat wave together with above cited lapses led to the deaths of 2000 citizens.

Or, it could just be an incompetent government with an uneducated, backwards populace dreaming of their 72 virgins.

Of course, Warmists will immediately follow along with this meme, because they want to protect radical Islam with everything they have. This is the way they think. They’re more concerned with bathrooms for the gender confused over a large chunk of Islam treating women in a horrible manner.

Man Who Lives In Bubble Tells Dems Not To Listen To People In Bubble

(The Hill) President Obama on Thursday warned Democrats against adopting a “Tea Party mentality” that could lead to deep divisions within the party and harm its chances of winning national elections.

Following the rise of the Tea Party and Donald Trump, Obama said infighting within the Republican Party is much worse than it is on the Democratic side.

But he urged his party’s voters to be mindful of that danger in the midst of a heated primary battle between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

“The thing Democrats have to guard against is going in the direction that the Republicans are much further along on, and that is this sense ‘we are just going to get our way, and if we don’t, then we’ll cannibalize our own, kick them out and try again,’ ” he said at a town-hall meeting with law students in Chicago.

In that scenario, Democrats could “stake out positions so extreme, they alienate the broad public,” Obama added. “I don’t see that being where the Democrats go, but it’s always something we have to pay attention to.” (snip)

“The danger, whether for Democrats or Republicans, is in a closed-loop system where everybody is just listening to the people who agree with them,” he said.

This is coming from a man who tends to listen only to his small circle of advisors. And donors. Can’t forget about them. What he’s advocating is that the Democrat big wigs not listen to the people who vote for them. Not listen to the base. I wholly endorse that idea. Remember, it was the Tea Party that propelled the GOP to regain the House in a historic beatdown of the Democrats in the 2010 midterms. And then more wins in the House in 2012 and gains in the Senate. Then taking back the Senate in 2014.

Of course, the Republican bigwigs mostly failed to listen to the Tea Party afterwards, much as they’ve relied on the Conservative base to get out the vote then ignored us.

“A lot of Democrats supported me and still support me got frustrated is because a bunch of the country doesn’t agree with me or them and they have votes too. And they elect members of Congress. That’s how our democracy works,” Obama said.

“If you don’t get everything you want, it’s not always because the person you elected sold you out,” he continued. “It may just be because in our system, you end up taking half loaves.”

O actually has a point on this. That is politics. Sometimes you have to give a little to get a little. Sometimes you have to compromise. You can’t always get what you want, especially in a big country with over 300 million people who will have differing priorities based on political views and location. There’s a reason why the federal government was not meant to be so strong. States tend to be as big or bigger than many nations around the world, especially the European ones at the time the Constitution was written.

But, it is cute that O yammers on about democracy and half loaves when he’s laid out a my way or the highway vision during his period in office and tends to act that way with regulation and rules.

Bill Clinton Is A Horrible Person For Telling The Truth Regarding Black On Black Crime Or Something

Did you see the video of Bill Clinton having one heck of an argument with Black Lives Matters screechers? Slate’s Excitable Michelle Goldberg is incensed over Billy Jeff daring to respond back, and wants the Hillary campaign to fire him

No one is doing more damage to Hillary’s campaign than her husband.

I wonder if there’s a part of Bill Clinton that doesn’t really want Hillary Clinton to become president, particularly if she has to distance herself from his legacy to do so. How else to explain why one of the world’s most talented and agile politicians is so consistently flat-footed and destructive when advocating on his wife’s behalf? How else to explain his terrible and destined-to-be-viral confrontation Thursday with Black Lives Matter protesters in Philadelphia?

It started when the demonstrators interrupted Bill Clinton’s speech to protest his draconian 1994 crime bill, which, among other things, expanded the scope of the death penalty, enshrined “three-strikes” provisions into federal law, and allocated almost $10 billion in funding for prison construction. That bill is now widely seen as contributing to the human catastrophe of mass incarceration. Hillary Clinton is proposing a diametrically different approach to criminal justice, and even Bill Clinton renounced the law last year, though today, bafflingly, he went back to defending it.

And how did he defend it?

“I don’t know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-olds hopped up on crack and sent them out into the street to murder other African American children,” he shouted at the protesters. “Maybe you thought they were good citizens. She didn’t. She didn’t! You are defending the people who kill the lives you say matter.” The crowd cheered, but most Hillary supporters who watch it online will be aghast, if only out of political self-interest. Right-wing outlets like the Daily Caller and the Weekly Standard rushed, naturally, to post video of Bill’s hectoring.

So, it’s apparently a horrible thing in Liberal World to want to get the people who feed crack to kids and turn them into members of gangs who go out and kill (much of the law in question was about reducing and cracking down on the growing gang activity). By all the complaints from liberals, one would get the idea that they prefer the young black kids on crack and killing.

At a time when Hillary Clinton is dependent on black voters and campaigning with mothers who’ve lost sons to police violence, Bill Clinton yoked her to his own discredited policies. He reminded everyone that, in defense of his bill, she’d once spoken about underage “superpredators,” language she has since apologized for. Then, Bill Clinton aped the maddening right-wing tendency to derail conversations about criminal justice abuses by invoking black-on-black crime. He might as well have said, “All lives matter!”

The former president noted that Hillary had nothing to do with his reforms, but defended them anyways. “Because of that bill, we had a 25-year low in crime, a 33-year low in the murder rate, and listen to this, because of that and the background check law, a 46-year low in the deaths of people of gun violence. And how do you think those lives were, that mattered? Whose lives were saved, that mattered?”

How horrible! Giving stats of reducing crime, which affected the Black community. For this, Goldberg wants him fired, and ended her missive with that exactly.

Of course, Bill is correct on two points. There is a big problem with what is termed Black In Origin (Black on Black) crime which far outpaces any other same-on-same crime. Of the well over 300 murders in Baltimore in 2015, very few were of any other race, and very few were committed by any other race. The same goes for Chicago and other Democratic Party run cities. BLM doesn’t like to discuss this crime, and also calls it a myth. How do you fix something if you don’t acknowledge the problem?

Bill also characterized BLM as being against free speech. He was entirely correct on that point, as well.

Eight Questions For PayPal Regarding #HB2 Boycott

On Tuesday, you announced PayPal, where you are the president and CEO, was no longer going to open a new operations center in Charlotte, N.C.,  because “legislation has been abruptly enacted by the state of North Carolina that invalidates protections of the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender citizens and denies these members of our community equal rights under the law.”

I have a few questions for you about PayPal’s decision.

1 North Carolina’s new law would ensure that public multi-occupancy bathrooms—not bathrooms controlled by private companies or individuals, such as the PayPal bathrooms—correspond  to a person’s biological sex as listed on their birth certificates (which can be changed). Why does PayPal object to that? Does PayPal believe that providing LGBT Americans “equal rights under the law” requires allowing people who are biologically male to use women’s bathrooms?

7 You wrote in your statement that “the new law perpetuates discrimination.” Does PayPal intend to leave and/or not start company operations in states such as Oregon, where Aaron and Melissa Klein paid a $135,000 fine for not baking a cake for a same-sex couple, or New York, where Robert and Cynthia Gifford have been forced to change their wedding business because they won’t host same-sex weddings at their home? If not, why? What kinds of discrimination does PayPal oppose, and does it include discrimination that people of faith face in America?

Here’s another one: will PayPal pull out of Malaysia?

(Daily Caller) But PayPal’s values didn’t keep the company from opening and maintaining a global operations center in Malaysia, where homosexual acts are punishable by public lashings and jail sentences up to 20 years.

The same day that Schulman issued his statement, Malaysian student Hazim Ismail was granted asylum by Canada because he is gay and it would be too dangerous for him to return to his home country. Ismail testified that he faced persecution in the heavily-Muslim Malaysia because he had been publicly outed as a homosexual. So far, Schulman has remained silent on the persecution of homosexuals in Malaysia.

That’s a question I’ve asked lots of companies, CEOs, and private citizens, such as Charles Barkley, Pepsi and their CEO Indra Nooyi, the NBA, NCAA, local media outlets, local businesses, and, except for one, the Fullstream Brewery in Durham, NC, none have answered. Perhaps that’s because, unlike Fullstream, none have policies allowing the gender confused to use the bathroom of their “gender identity”?

Let’s be clear, making your single stall bathrooms “gender neutral” is a cop out.

Ten Hotcoldwetdry Facts That You Cannot Ignore Or Something

Trevor Hoyle is pimping his new book The Last Gasp, and provides us with those 10 ‘facts’ at Female First

  1. Planet Earth, our home in space, is warming year on year. Since the birth of the Industrial Revolution the average global temperature has increased by 1 degree C.
  2. Doesn’t sound much, does it? However, climate scientists warn that any rise above 2 degrees will spell disaster on a worldwide scale – and we’re already halfway there. Anything up to 4 degrees C and we’re looking at irreversible mass extinction.
  3. The rise is caused by emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels in cars, power plants and industry, giving rise to the Greenhouse Effect.
  4. This happens because carbon dioxide molecules allow heat from the sun to penetrate the atmosphere but then block its escape into space, acting just like a greenhouse – hence the name.
  5. As snow and ice melt at both poles, revealing more and more ocean and darker land cover, less sunlight is reflected back and more heat absorbed, leading to an unstoppable runaway effect of spiralling temperatures.
  6. But is the science reliable? 97 per cent of the world’s climatologists are convinced it is, leaving just 3 per cent with doubts and reservations. Ask yourself this question: if I had cancer and 97 per cent of oncologists recommended one course of treatment and 3 per cent another, which group of doctors would I trust and want to treat me?
  7. Some media commentators are vocal in their opposition. They accuse scientists of jumping on the climate bandwagon, chasing after grants to further their careers. But who is funding the sceptics and climate change deniers? The big multi-national energy corporations with vested interests in coal, oil and gas, that’s who – gifting $558 million to 91 climate denial organisations. Draw your own conclusions.
  8. Let’s separate scientific fact from corporate propaganda. Consider this: NASA research shows that 2015 was the hottest year ever recorded. NASA also says that 15 of the 16 hottest years on record have occurred since the year 2000. These are facts that even climate change deniers can’t deny.
  9. Finding a way out of this deadly cycle of environmental decline is going to be tough. There are no easy answers. At the heart of it lies our greed and our reliance on fossil fuels, for which we must find alternatives – and soon – if the planet and our species are to survive.
  10. The next thirty years are crucial. What kind of legacy are we prepared to bequeath to our children and our grandchildren, and the descendants that follow? We could be selfish and say, why should I care? I won’t be here. Or we could act as responsible, caring human beings and strive to do something to change it. Now, before it’s too late. It is up to us.

It starts out with a few actual facts then devolves into blaming mankind with zero facts. Typical.

Bummer: ‘Climate Change” Caused Earth To Slow By A Whopping 1.7 Milliseconds In 100 Years

Scientists are examing histroical changes in sea level in order to make accurate future predictions of this consequence of climate change, and they’re looking down to Earth’s core to do so. “In order to fully understand the sea-level change that has occurred in the past century, we need to understand the dynamics of the flow in Earth’s core”

The connection is through the change in the speed of Earth’s rotation. Melt water from glaciers not only causes sea-level rise, but also shifts mass from the pole to the equator, which slows down the rotation. (Picture the Earth as a spinning figure skater. The skater moves his or her arms in to spin more quickly or out to slow down.) The gravity pull from the Moon also contributes to the slow down, acting a little like a leaver break. However, the combination of these effects is not enough to explain the observations of the slowing down of Earth’s rotation: a contribution from Earth’s core must be added.

One of only a few people in the world investigating changes in Earth rotation, Dumberry contributed his expertise on Earth’s core-mantle coupling to the study. “Over the past 3000 years, the core of the Earth has been speeding up a little, and the mantle-crust on which we stand is slowing down.” As a consequence of Earth rotating more slowly, the length of our days is slowly increasing. In fact, a century from now, the length of a day will increase by 1.7 milliseconds. This may not seem like much, but Dumberry notes that this is a cumulative effect that adds up over time.

That’s the conclusion of a Harvard-led study published today in Science Advances. According to the authors, shrinking glaciers are affecting both the rotation rate and axial tilt of the Earth, by redistributing all that once-frozen water around the world. As water shifts from poles toward the equator, our planet’s midsection is becoming a wee bit wider. And that extra girth is causing the Earth to brake—in the same way that a spinning skater can slow herself down by sticking her arms out.

The study goes on to scaremonger about a potential 5 millisecond increase in your day from the slowdown by 2100. Of course, this is all based on computer models.

Nor does any of it prove anthropogenic causation. Why? Because they can’t. But, they are good at this doomsaying schtick.
