Feds Make Massive Bust In Minnesota For Immigration Fraud

No, sorry, Ilhan Omar wasn’t one of those busted

Sham marriages, elder ‘exploitation,’ fake death certificates uncovered in massive Minnesota immigration bust

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office conducted an unprecedented large-scale investigation in Minneapolis this month, focused on those who were committing marriage and asylum fraud.

Under a mission known as Operation Twin Shield, officers targeted 1,000 cases, knocking on doors at more than 900 sites to conduct interviews and review immigration criteria. Coordinating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the FBI, they found fraud, non-compliance, or public safety and national security concerns in 275 cases.

It’s the first operation after a new rule finalized earlier this month allowed USCIS to expand its law enforcement duties.

In 44 of those cases, the immigrants were referred to ICE or given a notice to appear (NTA) in court. Two were detained on-site. The rest are still being investigated.

Other cases included a petitioner who confessed to marriage fraud just hours after swearing under oath that her marriage was legitimate, and another involving an immigrant who had overstayed a visa waiver, was the son of a suspected terrorist, and had previously been denied benefits for fraud.

It’s unsurprising this was mostly in Minneapolis, a hotbed of Islamic extremism and 3rd world mentality.

The agency pointed to Executive Order 14161, which directs federal agencies to protect the United States from foreign terrorists and other public safety threats, as the framework guiding the operation. Officials emphasized that unlike during the Biden administration, USCIS officers are now empowered to thoroughly vet applicants and aggressively pursue fraud wherever it is encountered.

Let’s get them through the system and get them out of the U.S.

Meanwhile, get the Waaambulance

Commentary: There’s no nice way to deport someone. But Trump’s ICE is hosting a cruelty Olympics

When my father was crossing the U.S.-Mexico border like an undocumented Road Runner back in the 1970s, la migra caught him more than a few times.

They chased him and his friends through factories in Los Angeles and across the hills that separate Tijuana and San Diego. He was tackled and handcuffed and hauled off in cars, trucks and vans. Sometimes, Papi and his pals were dropped off at the border checkpoint in San Ysidro and ordered to walk back into Mexico. Other times, he was packed into grimy cells with other men.

But there was no anger or terror in his voice when I asked him recently how la migra treated him whenever they’d catch him.

“Like humans,” he said. “They had a job to do, and they knew why we mojados were coming here, so they knew they would see us again. So why make it difficult for both of us?”

Nice. Accusing ICE of being angry and terrorizing people who are, let’s see, breaking US law. Wackos.

EU To Soon Launch Border Tax On “Carbon Intensive Goods”

You know who this is going to hurt? The peasants and small businesses

The world’s first carbon border tax will soon go live — shaking up global trade

The European Union is less than three months away from launching its carbon levy — the world’s first large-scale border tax on carbon-intensive goods.

The forthcoming step, which has the potential to completely transform global trade, comes as part of the bloc’s efforts to slash greenhouse gas emissions from heavy industries and promote cleaner production processes across the globe.

Starting from Jan. 1 next year, the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) will impose a cost on goods such as steel, fertilizers, cement, aluminum and hydrogen imported from outside the 27-nation bloc.

Under the terms of the policy, importers bringing these goods into the EU will be required to purchase CBAM certificates to cover their associated emissions. The cost of these certificates is expected to be the same as the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) market price.

What happens? They sell those products at a higher price, and doing that with fertilizer will increase the cost of food, already high from all the EU policies, including on the climate scam. Cement? Same thing.

Not everyone is thrilled about the EU’s upcoming carbon border tax. The U.S., China, India and Brazil are among the countries that have raised concerns, with some threatening to take retaliatory measures and others warning the policy might hinder rather than help global climate efforts. (snip)

The U.S., for its part, has warned that European climate rules could threaten the EU’s trade deal with the White House.

U.S. President Donald Trump struck a framework agreement with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in late July, establishing a tariff ceiling of 15% for most EU goods from the start of August.

It’s always the Elites placing these climate scams into law, but, those policies never seem to hurt the Elites. They probably have investments where they make money off the scam policies.

Senate Democrats Block Passage Of CR, Shutdown To Start

The CR was supposedly pretty clean and short term, allowing for more time to negotiate. But, Dems hate Americans

White House declares imminent government shutdown after Senate fails to pass funding bill

The White House has officially declared an imminent government shutdown after the Senate failed to pass a GOP-backed spending bill to keep federal agencies funded through Nov. 21.

A memo issued by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) said current federal funding levels “expire at 11:59 p.m. tonight.”

“Unfortunately, Democrat senators are blocking passage of H.R. 5371 in the Senate due to Democrats’ insane policy demands, which include $1 trillion in new spending,” the memo said.

The memo went on to say that President Donald Trump is supportive of the GOP-led funding bill, which is a short-term extension of current federal spending levels called a continuing resolution (CR), aimed at keeping the government funded for seven weeks as lawmakers work on a deal for fiscal year (FY) 2026 priorities.

“But it is now clear that Democrats will prevent passage of this clean CR prior to 11:59 p.m. tonight and force a government shutdown. As such, affected agencies should now execute their plans for an orderly shutdown,” the memo said.

Let’s be honest, most of the federal government will not shut down. It’s mostly just the non-essential jobs. So…..why are we bringing most of them back if they are non-essential?

The GOP-led CR was tanked in the Senate on Tuesday evening, failing to reach the chamber’s 60-vote threshold to overcome a filibuster and proceed with debate on the bill. The vote fell 55–45, with three members of the Democratic caucus crossing the aisle and voting with Republicans.

Who tanked it? Should be interesting to see how the Credentialed Media frame this.

(Fox News) Past government shutdowns have been more political theater than economic shock, with markets and jobs bouncing back quickly.

This time, though, President Donald Trump‘s warning that some furloughed workers may not return to their jobs raises the stakes, turning a routine disruption into a threat to an already fragile labor market.

If Trump carries out that threat, it would almost certainly face an immediate court challenge. But if it stands, a shutdown usually dismissed as partisan brinkmanship rather than financial disruption could deliver lasting economic consequences.

And that’s Trump’s threat, that those furloughed will see their jobs gone once the government re-opens.

Evening Music – James Gang – Rocky Mountain Way

So, I actually went back and deleted about 500K comments and all the trackbacks/pingbacks, cleared metadata, and some other stuff to reduce the amount of data on the server. And will most likely continue to periodically delete comments older than 100 days. No one looks at them, and comments are closed after 10 days anyhow (to avoid spammers). I probably should have looked at how much data there was overall in the disk to see how much it went down. Too bad there’s no way to significantly cut down the data from old posts. I also turned off one Jetpack function.

Maybe this is helping a bit? You tell me. I haven’t seen the brief “lost connection” messages when typing posts today. I definitely appreciate your patience and continued support.

A Bunch Of Democrats Demand Trump Protect Jew Hating Global Sumud Flotilla

Are any of these same Democrats demanding that Hamas release the hostages?

Full list of Democrats urging Trump admin to protect Gaza flotilla

Nearly 20 Democratic members of Congress are asking President Donald Trump to protect the Global Sumud Flotilla, which aims to deliver aid to Gaza.

Newsweek reached out to the office of Rashida Tlaib, the Michigan Democrat leading the letter, and the State Department for comment via email. (snip)

Tlaib and 18 other Congressional Democrats urged the Trump administration to take action to protect the flotilla. The letter comes as Democrats remain divided about how the government should approach the conflict. Many progressive Democrats have called for limits on Israel aid amid the ongoing conflict, while more moderate Democrats have generally been more supportive of Israel. (snip)

Tlaib and the other Congressional Democrats urged the Trump administration to “do everything in your power to ensure the safety of the flotilla and its unarmed, civilian passengers” while also addressing the “issue at the root of the voyage.”

“The law is clear: any attack on the Global Sumud Flotilla or its civilians is a clear and blatant violation of international law. The United States has an obligation to protect its citizens from foreign attack,” the letter reads. “We call on you to deter any further hostile actions against the flotilla and ensure the successful completion of its humanitarian mission.”

Yeah, well, enter the waters of a foreign nation without permission and you get what’s coming to you. If it’s like last time, they get a sandwich, a hearty fair thee well, and a fossil fueled plane ride home

  • Rashida Tlaib (Michigan)
  • Greg Casar (Texas)
  • Nydia Velázquez (New York)
  • Lateefah Simon (California)
  • Jesús García (Illinois)
  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (New York)
  • Delia Ramirez (Illinois)
  • Pramila Jayapal (Washington)
  • Summer Lee (Pennsylvania)

  • Maxine Dexter (Oregon)
  • Ilhan Omar (Minnesota)
  • Hank Johnson (Georgia)
  • Bonnie Watson Coleman (New Jersey)

PRC School Board Shuts Down Mom Stripping To Bikini In Protest Of Gender Confused In Bathrooms

We’ve seen school boards shut down parents many times when they’ve tried to read the unhinged LGBTQwhatever books that are being read to children in classrooms. The Supreme Court even heard arguments over allowing parents to opt out. Now we have

Woman disrobes at California school board meeting in protest of locker room policies

Local California women’s rights activist Beth Bourne protested the policy allowing transgender students access to girls’ locker rooms by stripping down to a bikini at a local school board meeting.

Bourne, who chairs the Moms for Liberty in Yolo County, took part in the Davis Joint Unified School Board meeting on Sept. 18 where she highlighted school policies on locker room access.

“I’m a parent in the Davis Unified School District, and I’m here today to talk about the policies you have for the locker rooms in the junior high schools. So Emerson, Holmes, Harper Junior High. Right now, we require our students to undress for PE class. So I’m just going to give you an idea what that looks like when I undress,” Bourne said before taking off her clothes to reveal a bikini.

She continued, “So right now, this school district is saying that, depending on a child’s transgender identity, that they can pick which bathroom they want. So we have, right now at this school district, we have children self-identifying into different bathrooms just based off of their—”

Bourne was interrupted by members of the board, who ordered her to stop.

After she tried to continue the board took a recess. After coming back 5 minutes later she tried to resume and go to her bikini, and the board called a 30 minute recess, and moved on to a new subject when they came back. And, apparently, the board called police and are considering taking additional steps

“If the adults don’t feel comfortable watching someone, and I’m a 50-year-old woman, how can they expect girls to feel comfortable doing that in the locker room?” Bourne said. “I thought I made a really good point.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if the board banned her from attending future meetings. School boards do not want to hear the language in the books they authorize to be read in classes (and, sometimes, it’s just the unhinged teacher who chooses them), nor do they want to see someone stripping to a bikini. Yet, they want to expose young children to the books and young girls to the gender confused in their bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers.

Who’s Up For A New Monetary Scam To “Finance” Climate (scam) Losses?

It’s always some sort of scheme

Would The US Government Want To Issue CAT Bonds At Scale To Finance Losses From Climate Change?

Climate week just concluded in New York City. Instead of joining the chorus on how the US has withdrawn from the conversation, I thought I might write about something constructive. I have always worried that climate losses will eventually be socialized via greater deficits and eventually via greater taxation. What might an alternative look like? A private sector funded financing vehicle that can transfer risk from victims to a more risk loving investor, in exchange for appropriate returns. That is, something like CAT bonds.

For those who may not be familiar, CAT bonds are effectively insurance on tightly defined catastrophic climate events. The actual structure is a bit complicated. An SPV (special purpose vehicle) is formed by an insurance company. Investors pay let’s say $100 million to the SPV. This money will be used to pay out insured parties should the insurance company have to pay up if disaster strikes. Let’s say the disaster is a 7.0 earthquake in a specific tightly defined region. The cash that comes in from investors is usually invested in US treasuries, which pay say 5% per annum.

The insurance company hands off the premiums it receives from selling coverage of $100 million to the SPV. Let’s say that the premium is 6.5% on $100 million. The cumulative returns of 6.5% plus 5% on T-bills invested is passed on to investors every year till the disaster strikes. If disaster does not strike, the $100 million is returned to CAT bond investors at the end of the pre-arranged term, say at the end of three years. If the earthquake of 7.0 or higher does strike, the insurance company pays off the $100 million to insured parties.

So, they are very complicated, meaning hard to track the money. And, earthquakes are “climate” disasters?

The mechanism works because the returns to investors from a portfolio of CAT bonds exceed the loss payouts. To understand the nuances associated with the idea of US issuing CAT bonds at scale, I approached Andrew Poreda, and Sean McShea, friends and thoughtful commentators on climate finance. Their firm, Sage Advisory, has just launched a private fund consisting of traditional fixed income investments and CAT bonds. Before we hear from Andrew and Sean, a quick primer for folks who are not familiar with CAT bonds.

Yeah, I’ve heard enough. There’s always some scheme to take money from Some People and give it to Other People based on a manufactured cult scam. And, I’m pretty sure Trump would be a hard no on this.

Israel Agrees With Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan. What About Hamas?

So, it’s only the loony tunes hyper left wacko who are against the peace plan, and those with extreme TDS. Most of the major US media haven’t figured out a way to approve of the plan while still hating on Trump, Netanyahu, Israel, and Jews

Netanyahu agrees to Trump plan for Gaza deal, but Hamas still a question

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed Monday to a deal to end the war in Gaza that was proposed by President Donald Trump, amid a fresh push by the White House to halt two years of bitter war. The step toward peace still requires agreement by Hamas.

Trump called it “a beautiful day, potentially one of the great days ever in civilization,” speaking alongside Netanyahu following hours of meetings at the White House. The deal, which the White House published Monday, foresees hostilities ceasing immediately and hostages being released within 72 hours of both sides agreeing to the deal.

“Today is a historic day for peace,” the president said, even as he acknowledged that Hamas had not yet agreed to the deal.

“I’m hearing that Hamas wants to get this done, too, and that’s a good thing,” Trump said, adding that if Hamas doesn’t agree, the White House would give Israel a green light to keep fighting.

A they say, the devil is in the details. Peace doesn’t always happen overnight (unless it is enforced by the conflict winner), they have to work on the details. Hopefully it can be closed. Everyone should want that. Unless they are rooting for Hamas and against Israel and Jews.

The Jerusalem Post dives deep into the details as they are right now. Worth reading it.

Trump’s plan — which was crafted with heavy input from former British Prime Minister Tony Blair — would hold the door open to an eventual Palestinian state. It would begin with the immediate cessation of military operations, would freeze “battle lines” in place and would require Hamas to release all 20 living hostages — and the remains of more than two dozen believed dead — within 72 hours.

All of Hamas’s offensive weaponry would be destroyed, according to a 20-point version of the plan released by the White House on Monday. Those militants who “commit to peaceful coexistence” would be offered amnesty. Hamas members who choose to leave would be granted safe passage to other countries.

Can it happen? Time will tell. One thing about Trump, love him or hate him, he sees a problem and he looks to actually solve it, rather than yammer on.
