Trump Says US Navy To Blockade Iranian Ports

Iran only has so many ports for their oil, and, I suppose those nations who depend on Iran’s oil can get over it. Besides, how many of those countries are climate cult members?

‘We Are Fully Locked and Loaded’ — President Trump: U.S. Navy Blockades Strait of Hormuz

President Donald Trump announced Sunday the U.S. Navy will begin blockading ships in the Strait of Hormuz, the news coming after he said Iran promised to open the strait but ultimately did not.

“So, there you have it, the meeting went well, most points were agreed to, but the only point that really mattered, NUCLEAR, was not. Effective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz,” the president wrote in a post on Truth Social early Sunday.

At some point, we will reach an “ALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO IN, ALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO OUT” basis, but Iran has not allowed that to happen by merely saying, “There may be a mine out there somewhere,” that nobody knows about but them. THIS IS WORLD EXTORTION, and Leaders of Countries, especially the United States of America, will never be extorted. I have also instructed our Navy to seek and interdict every vessel in International Waters that has paid a toll to Iran. No one who pays an illegal toll will have safe passage on the high seas.

We will also begin destroying the mines the Iranians laid in the Straits. Any Iranian who fires at us, or at peaceful vessels, will be BLOWN TO HELL! Iran knows, better than anyone, how to END this situation which has already devastated their Country. Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their Anti Aircraft and Radar are useless, Khomeini, and most of their “Leaders,” are dead, all because of their Nuclear ambition. The Blockade will begin shortly. Other Countries will be involved with this Blockade. Iran will not be allowed to profit off this Illegal Act of EXTORTION. They want money and, more importantly, they want Nuclear. Additionally and, at an appropriate moment, we are fully “LOCKED AND LOADED,” and our Military will finish up the little that is left of Iran! President DONALD J. TRUMP

If Iran was smart, they would give up their nuclear weapons program in exchange for oil processing plants. They produce lots of petroleum, but, really do not have a way to refine it into usable fuels and lubricants. And, ask for help building a nuclear power plant, as that is part of the non-proliferation treaty for countries, a way to keep nations from having nuke plants that can produce weapons grade material.

UK ‘not supporting’ U.S. Iran blockade as France’s Macron confirms ‘multinational’ talks on the Strait of Hormuz

The U.K. is “not supporting” the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports, Prime Minister Keir Starmer said on Monday, insisting that the country would not get “dragged in” to the Iran war.

It came as President Emmanuel Macron confirmed France and the U.K. would, in the coming days, co-host a conference aimed at restoring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Macron has not explicitly ruled-out France’s involvement in the U.S. blockade but said the planned conference would create a “peaceful multinational” and “strictly defensive” mission, “separate from the belligerents.”

Britain’s Starmer told BBC’s Radio 5 Live on Monday: “We’re not supporting the blockade, and all of the marshalling – diplomatically, politically and [in terms of] capability – we do have mine-sweeping capability, I won’t go into operational matters, but we do have that capability – that’s all focused, from our point of view, on getting the Strait fully open.”

Sure, Trump hinted that other countries could help, but, the United Kingdom was not asked. They really cannot project naval power anymore. They couldn’t operate their ship Dragon. It took a while to get it out of port to protect Cyprus, and then had to stop operating over water issues. If Argentina really decides to take the Falkland Islands again, there is little the UK can do about.

Who’s Gonna Pay For NJ’s Polluters Pay Bill

Well, while I was at NJ.com for the previous post I ran across this one, which is a hoot divorced from the way the markets act

Who should pay for climate damages: Taxpayers or polluters? | Opinion

climate doom yearly

Wait, I don’t have global heating on here?

Failing to make hard decisions today often makes tomorrow’s bill much larger.

This was the throughline of Gov. Mikie Sherrill’s recent budget address, and with the costs of climate change increasing every year, state leaders now face a clear test of that principle.

Should New Jersey families continue paying the full cost of worsening floods, extreme heat and severe storms? Or should the world’s largest polluters finally pay their fair share for the damages they created?

The “Polluters Pay to Make New Jersey More Affordable Act” offers a straightforward answer.

The legislation would require the world’s largest fossil fuel companies to help pay to rebuild our infrastructure and make our communities more resilient to climate change. This includes upgrading roads, transit infrastructure, the electric grid, public schools and much more.

Really, the headline should be “Who will actually pay for climate (scam) damages: Taxpayers or polluters?” Not that CO2 and most greenhouse gases are pollution, particularly water vapor, which is the primary GHG.

The world’s largest fossil fuel companies would pay $2.5 billion per year for the next 20 years, providing a steady stream of infrastructure funding at no cost to taxpayers.

Without this funding source, the consequences are clear: Families across New Jersey will continue paying the full cost, even as the federal government has reduced funding for FEMA and disaster aid.

Even if this actually happened, does anyone think the money would go to the NJ residents? Or, would most disappear into the pockets of NGOs and Democrat donors? Be used for other things?

If they could simply pass these costs to consumers at the pump, they wouldn’t be spending millions to fight the bill. They’re fighting it because the money would come from their profits.

But, the costs would be passed on, not too mention the companies limiting and/or ending operations in NJ. They never listen to me, but, the minute the legislation passes, and it will, the companies should stop doing business with the State of NJ government.

Let’s not forget that the state already lost a lawsuit trying to make the fossil fueled companies to pay out the nose, where the judge wrote “Because Plaintiffs seek damages for alleged harms caused by interstate and international emissions and global warming, their claims cannot be governed by state law. Under our federal constitutional system, states cannot use their laws to resolve claims seeking redress for injuries allegedly caused by out-of-state and worldwide emissions.”

LOL: ICE Ignores NJ Law On Masks

NJ had no problem with forcing citizens to wear (worthless) masks during COVID. They have no problem allowing wacko (Democrat) activists to wear masks. But, they actually thought they could dictate to federal law enforcement the way they could operate

Ban on masks ignored by ICE agents during N.J. arrest

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are being directed to not follow a New Jersey state law that prohibits federal officers from wearing masks during enforcement operations.

In a recent raid, ICE agents from the Newark office arrested Rubiel Gabriel Nolasco, an undocumented individual from Mexico, in Jackson Township. He was taken into custody on April 1 by federal agents wearing masks, a township employee told the Asbury Park Press.

A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security said agents will not remove their masks, calling a new state law “unconstitutional.” Gov. Mikie Sherrill in March signed three bills into law regarding ICE operations in New Jersey, one prohibiting local and federal law enforcement officers from wearing masks.

“Sanctuary politicians attempting to ban our federal law enforcement from wearing masks is despicable and a flagrant attempt to endanger our officers,” the spokesperson told NJ.com. “ICE officers wear face coverings for one reason: To protect themselves and their families from real-world threats including agitators. The danger is not hypothetical.”

Good luck enforcing the ban, Mikie. There aren’t many police officers in the state who would even consider trying to enforce it. And the few who do will end up arrested themselves

Nolasco was arrested twice by Border Patrol agents in 2021 and was deported back to Mexico on both occasions, federal authorities said. He was arrested by Toms River police on July 29, 2024, on a domestic violence charge. Nolasco pleaded guilty to that charge.

He also had pending charges for driving with a suspended license or registration, according to the ICE spokesperson. He is currently being detained and awaiting removal proceedings.

Hey, maybe the story should have led with this. He committed a felony by coming back in, and, seriously, how bad did Nolasco have to be to be sent back to Mexico under the Biden regime? Then there’s the domestic violence charge.

Sheriff Sues Women Who Falsely Claimed She Was Held In ICE Detention

I could have sworn I had blogged about this lying wacko, but, maybe that was just on Twitter? Anyhow, she’s got some serious trouble coming her way

Wisconsin sheriff sues Skokie woman for defamation in ICE detention claim

A Wisconsin sheriff is now suing a Skokie woman and a Cook County politician for defamation after she claimed she was held at an out-of-state jail after being detained by immigration enforcement officials.

The sister of Sundas Naqvi and Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison held a press conference in March, where Naqvi’s sister claimed Sundas was detained by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport while returning from a trip to Turkey, then taken to Dodge County Jail in Wisconsin despite being a US citizen.

WGN-TV was told that Sundas Naqvi, who goes by “Sunny,” was returning from a business trip and was unlawfully detained for 43 hours upon arrival at O’Hare.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) refuted the claim, sharing photos showing Naqvi leaving the screening area on her own. In the aftermath, Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt launched his own investigation. Hotel records show Naqvi stayed at a Rosemont hotel during her alleged detention, according to evidence presented by Schmidt.

In other words, it was all a lie. Why did she do this and drag others into it? To demonize ICE? To add Islamophobia into it? Because liberal women are broken? Too bad all the news outlets who jumped on the story and ran with it instead of doing Journalism 101 can’t be sued, as well

“At no point was Sundas Naqvi in the custody of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office,” Sheriff Schmidt said. “This is not a misunderstanding or a minor discrepancy. This is not a violation of the constitutional or civil rights of Sundas Naqvi or those allegedly with her. The timeline being claimed is not physically possible based on the evidence we have, and that matters.”

WGN News reached out to Commissioner Morrison for comment about the civil lawsuit. In response, a spokesperson stated that, while they understand a complaint has been filed, the office would not comment on pending litigation.

It’s long past time to hold people responsible for their lies. They think they can get away with anything, especially in the social media and turning the amp to 11 activism. These people are plain nuts

Japanese Metal Fan, And PM, Squees Over Deep Purple Visit

I don’t blame her, even though there is no Jon Lord (greatest rock keyboard player ever) nor Ritchie Blackmore. Deep Purple’s Maid In Japan is one of the greatest live rock albums, and them traveling to Japan to tour was a huge deal for rock bands back in 1972

Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi thrilled by Deep Purple’s visit to her office

Japanese Prime MinisterSanae Takaichi took a short — and happy — break on Friday as she hosted legendary British rock band Deep Purple in Tokyo as a longtime admirer.

“Welcome to Japan … Uh-oh, I can’t believe Deep Purple are here,” Takaichi said as she walked into a guest room at the Prime Minister’s Office with open arms and all smiles to welcome the band members. “I have always admired Deep Purple.”

“You’re my god,” Takaichi told drummer Ian Paice, presenting him with a set of Japanese-made TAMA drumsticks she had signed. “You’re a drummer, we are friends,” Paice told her.

Paice was really there for the biggest years. Also, how many songs, including lyrics, were written as a collaboration between all the members.

Takaichi is a hard rock and heavy metal music fan and was an avid drummer in her college days.

The prime minister explained her history as a Deep Purple superfan for more than half a century. At elementary school, she was already listening to “Machine Head,” the band’s 1972 album featuring top hits like “Highway Star” and “Smoke on the Water.”

In junior high school, she played the keyboard in a Deep Purple cover band, then as a university student she switched to drums, she said.

“Nowadays, when I have a fight with my husband, I play drums on ‘Burn’ and put a curse on him,” Takaichi joked. She has previously noted “Burn” as one of her favorite songs, saying it “clears my mind.”

It’s funny, because for the longest time I didn’t realize that was David Coverdale singing on Burn.

“I express my deepest respect for you for making rock history and continuing to take on new challenges and producing even more compelling music today,” Takaichi said, wishing them a successful tour beginning Saturday in Tokyo.

When it comes to rock/hard rock OGs, that would include Purple. Their best of album, Deepest Purple, was the first cassette I bought with my own money. Here’s my favorite Purple song

Vance Heads To Pakistan For Iran War Negotiations

What happens? We’ll see. Because Iran wanted Vance as the negotiator

Iran wanted to negotiate with Vance. They got their wish

When JD Vance arrives in Islamabad for talks on Saturday with Iranian officials, it will fulfill a wish for ?Tehran’s remaining leaders, some of whom have quietly sought the U.S. vice president to take a lead role in negotiations to end the war, according to several sources familiar with the matter.

Iran ?views Vance as one of the most anti-war figures in President Donald Trump’s inner circle, said one regional official and four people familiar with the talks.

That reputation, long a fixture of his political brand, has led Tehran to believe Vance is the most likely among Trump’s close associates to seek a deal in good faith, said the sources, who requested anonymity to discuss sensitive diplomatic matters.

There is no indication Vance would adopt a more accommodating negotiating stance than any other representative sent by Trump, who has threatened to renew the ?U.S. bombing campaign if talks fail.

Trump certainly doesn’t want war, but, he certainly doesn’t want a nuclear armed Iran. And he’s of an age where he remembers 1979, and the start of the Islamic jihadism in Iran, the hatred of Israel and the U.S., the start of the killings and terrorism and abuse of Iran’s citizens

Vance arrives in Pakistan for talks with Iranian officials to shore up shaky cease-fire

A US delegation led by Vice President JD Vance arrived in Pakistan on Saturday for high-level talks with Iranian representatives, the first such meeting since the war began more than a month ago that will test whether they can shore up a fragile cease-fire and pave the way for peace.

The cease-fire brokered by Pakistan still faces hurdles in the talks beginning Saturday, as Israel and Hezbollah militants have traded fire along the border of southern Lebanon and Iran has set conditions before negotiations can begin.

The Iranian delegation arrived early Saturday in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad, led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, who said on X that discussions will only take place if there is an Israeli cease-fire in Lebanon and the release of blocked Iranian assets.

President Trump has posted repeatedly about the negotiations on social media, saying Iranian officials “have no cards.”

He accused them of using the Strait of Hormuz, a key artery for global energy supplies, for extortion.

That is Iran’s only card remaining in the deck, other than their support of terrorist groups like Hamas, the Houthis, and, Hezbollah in Lebanon. Stop pushing the terrorism, stop attacking the US and Israel, stop trying to get a nuclear weapon. Open up your society, stop treating women as 2nd class citizens and chattel, and everything could get much better for Iran.

And now we wait to see what happens, if Iran will be reasonable. And if Democrats want Iran to come out on top, simply because they hate Trump to the point of taking Iran’s side.
