Here’s the “Paper Of Record”
A Man Attacked a March for Israeli Hostages in Colorado. Here’s What to Know.
Witnesses said the man threw an incendiary device into the crowd in a downtown pedestrian mall, according to the authorities. The suspect, identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman of Colorado Springs, yelled “Free Palestine” during the attack, the witnesses said. Mr. Soliman, 45, was booked on multiple charges in the Boulder County Jail.
The attack may intensify deep unease in the Jewish community in the United States. In recent months, two Israeli embassy aides were murdered in Washington, and a man set fire to the residence of Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, who is Jewish.
Why would they have unease, what with all those Democrats and visa holders, especially from the Islam world, yelling “globalize the Intifada” and stuff?
The victims — four men and four women, who range in age from 52 to 88 — were participating in a weekly event called Run for Their Lives that is held in cities around the world, including Boulder. It is designed to call attention to the Israeli hostages taken by Hamas in the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks.
Mr. Soliman was taken into custody after witnesses pointed him out, Chief Redfearn said. The F.B.I. was investigating the attack as an act of terrorism, Chief Redfearn said, adding that the preliminary facts made it “clear that this is a targeted act of violence.”
OK, that’s all we get from the NY Times, and it was not even a top of the page article. How about the Washington Post?
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, of El Paso County, Colorado, threw Molotov cocktails and yelled “Free Palestine” before he was taken into custody, police said, citing witness accounts of the attack. Two victims were airlifted for treatment at a burn unit, officials said.
That’s all we get. ABC News is lacking. Same with NBC News. The LA Times is running an AP article, which is lacking. Which mean the AP is derelict. CBS News gets close
Soliman is an Egyptian national, government officials confirmed to CBS Colorado. He arrived in California in 2022 on a non-immigrant visa, multiple sources told CBS News. That original visa expired in Feb. 2023, the sources said. Soliman had recently been living in Colorado Springs.
So, brought in by Biden, and is now illegally present
(Breitbart) Fox News’s Bill Melugin revealed that “three senior” DHS sources said Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, is “an Egyptian national in the U.S. illegally,” and has overstayed his visa after entering the United States under the Biden administration.
Melugin added that he was “told” Soliman “arrived at LAX on 8/27/22 on a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa with an authorized stay through 2/26/23, but he overstayed & never left.”
“I’m told on 9/29/22, he filed some sort of claim with USCIS, potentially an asylum claim, and on 3/29/23, USCIS under the Biden admin gave him work authorization, which expired on 3/28/25,” Melugin added.
He overstayed which is a legal violation, so, they gave him more legal status and the ability to work. Shameful
Expect this story to disappear from the Credentialed Media quickly, just like the Israelis murdered by a Leftist.

It was never gonna fly, if you’ll excuse the pun. The only way would have been to either stop fossil fueled flights altogether or make a breakthrough in aviation fuel. Considering they haven’t come up with one for cars, it’s a long shot
Key climate target of airline decarbonisation ‘in peril’: IATA
The airline industry’s flagship goal of decarbonising by 2050 is now “in peril” due to climate-sceptic policies, including those of US President Donald Trump, the leading airline association IATA warned on Sunday.
The emergence of leaders favouring fossil fuels and recent regulatory rollbacks are “obviously a setback… it does imperil success on the 2050 horizon”, Marie Owens Thomsen, the International Air Transport Association’s senior vice president for sustainability, told reporters.
“But I don’t think it’s going to halt or reverse progress. I think it will just slow progress,” she said at the IATA annual industry conference in India.
Sounds like a position that offers nothing but nagging, but, I bet it pays a lot.
The air transportation industry has faced growing pressure to deal with its contribution to the climate crisis.
Currently responsible for 2.5 percent to three percent of global CO2 emissions, the sector’s switch to renewable fuels is proving difficult, even if the aeronautics industry and energy companies have been seeking progress.
To achieve net-zero emissions, airlines rely on non-fossil sources known as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
However, SAF biofuels are still three to four times more expensive than petroleum-based jet fuel.
Guess who pays for these fuels that are about as worthwhile as ethanol.
Owens Thomsen estimated on Sunday that $4.7 trillion in investment is needed to establish SAF sectors capable of meeting the needs of air transport by 2050.
“It is entirely achievable,” she said, adding that the raw materials and technology already exist and simply need to be developed.
And they can get that money from ending fossil fuels “subsidies”, which are really just tax breaks. Which would mean the cost of living would go up. Not that the Elites care. But, come on, most of the airlines are just greenwashing to placate the climate nuts.

This is what an activist media looks like
‘They’re the backbone’: Trump’s targeting of legal immigrants threatens health sector
The Trump administration’s efforts to strip protections from more than half a million legal immigrants could devastate the health sector, endangering care for the elderly and worsening rates of both chronic and infectious diseases.
Hundreds of thousands of health care workers, including an estimated 30,000 legal immigrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela, are at risk of being deported — worrying providers and patients who rely on them for everything from nursing and physical therapy to maintenance, janitorial, foodservice and housekeeping work.
Goodwin Living, a faith-based, not-for-profit elder care complex just across the Potomac River from D.C., is poised to lose 65 staff members following Supreme Court rulings on Friday and earlier in May that gave the Trump administration permission to terminate humanitarian parole and temporary protected status issued by prior presidents to migrants from several countries plagued by poverty and violence.
“I just can’t even imagine the impact it would have on those of us that are cared for on a daily basis if we were to suddenly lose them,” said Jill Miller, who has resided at Goodwin Living for eight years with her husband Carl. “They’re the backbone.”
Have they considered hiring Americans? Instead of people who have only been in the U.S. for a few years, and probably barely speak the language at all? Hey, maybe lots of people on welfare can be employed doing this stuff. Seriously, how did so many of these Biden imports, who would always be under threat to be repatriated, since TPS only lasts 18 months at a time, become so embedded within the health system? How did they all get legal status so quick and jobs?
These vulnerabilities underscore the precarity of the nation’s patchwork immigration system. Immigrants — both documented and undocumented — make up a disproportionate share of the health care workforce, particularly in areas like long-term care for the elderly and people with disabilities, and their expulsion would make existing shortages much worse.
Illegals shouldn’t have jobs. Period. Those on TPS or (fake) asylum seekers should understand that their time is limited.
“There are valid concerns, absolutely,” said Simon Hankinson, a senior research fellow at the Heritage Foundation. “But the solution we need is for Congress to determine what level of immigration we need, what skill level we need, what the conditions are, and then to pass laws. You can’t just completely bypass Congress with executive action on immigration and expect this fragile edifice that we set up to survive.”
What Democrats want is more voters, because they embed them in jobs, keep giving them TPS, give them asylum they do not deserve, then amnesty.
“The assertion that the only way we can take care of our seniors is by allowing unvetted illegal aliens and foreigners with criminal records to remain in the country is grossly false and lazy,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement to POLITICO. “If people want to come to our country to be caregivers for our seniors, they need to do that by coming here the legal way.”
But, that wouldn’t create millions of new Democrat voters.

So, what happens when there are few visitors and/or visitors spend less while there, including on tips, because of the extra taxes?
Legislators in Hawaii are implementing a hefty tax on tourism that they believe will help the state government take action against climate change.
According to the Associated Press and USA Today, Hawaii Gov. Josh Green signed a bill on Tuesday, May 27, that increased a tax on hotel room, vacation rentals and cruise ships to raise money to be used for issues such as eroding shorelines, wildfires and more.
Known as the first ever “Green Fee” in the country, Hawaii’s Act 96 will raise the state’s current transient accommodations tax (TAT) by 0.75%, making the taxes on nightly lodging rates 11%. The tax will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2026, according to a press release from Green’s office.
According to USA Today, travelers will have to pay a fee based on the nightly rate of their travel accommodations. For example, travelers staying in a hotel room that costs $300 per night will have to pay a $2.25 fee.
It’s not much, but, people do not like paying extra fees for bullshit.
“I mahalo the tourism industry for stepping up and collaborating on this initiative, which will preserve Hawai?i for kama??ina and visitors alike,” Governor Green explained. “The fee will restore and remediate our beaches and shorelines and harden infrastructure critical to the health and safety of all who call Hawai?i home, whether for a few days or a lifetime.”
So, if it is so important, than why not ban the use of fossil fuels? All those airports, heliports, boats, and vehicles? Why do the residents not pay? Why hit up the lifeblood of their economy?
Elsewhere, no matter what happens, it’s ‘climate change’
Floods kill at least 111 as northern Nigeria battles climate change, dry spells and heavy rainfall
Torrents of predawn rain unleashed flooding that killed at least 111 people in a market town where northern Nigerian farmers sell their wares to traders from the south, officials said Friday, predicting the death toll would grow.
The Nigerian Hydrological Services Agency did not immediately say how much rain fell after midnight Thursday in the town of Mokwa in the state of Niger more than 180 miles west of Abuja, the capital of Africa’s most populous nation.
Communities in northern Nigeria have been experiencing prolonged dry spells worsened by climate change and excessive rainfall that leads to severe flooding during the brief wet season.
In videos and photos on social media, floodwaters covered neighborhoods and homes were submerged, with their roofs barely visible above the brown colored waters. Waist-deep in water, residents tried to salvage what they could, or rescue others.
Got that? It’s your fault Someone Else’s Fault that carbon pollution is causing flooding and drought in a place that has historically had floods and droughts. Even desertification. Because of where Nigeria is located. There are other factors, such as deforestation, over-cultivation, over-grazing, cultivating marginal land, urbanization, and poor water management. Those are human caused, we do not need the boogeyman of “carbon pollution”. But, the cult will still do it. Floods and droughts go way back in their history throughout the Holocene.
…is a hazy day from too much carbon pollution, you might just be a Warmist

Realistically, they should be doing this for anyone coming on a visa, especially from certain countries, looking for support of Islamic extremism, America hatred, and Jew hatred
Federal officials to vet social media accounts of visa applicants heading to Harvard
The media never asks what they mean
Federal officials are set to start reviewing the social media accounts of visa applicants who plan to attend, work at or visit Harvard University for any signs of antisemitism, marking the latest development in a clash between the Trump administration and the Ivy League school.
A cable sent Friday signed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and obtained by The Associated Press accused the university of failing to keep violence and antisemitism off campus. It said the vetting measure will help consular officers identify applicants with a history of those offenses “and to duly consider their visa eligibility under U.S. immigration law.”
The measure was sent to all U.S. embassies and consulates, and it takes effect immediately. It will serve as a pilot program that could be expanded more broadly, according to the cable. (snip)
More than a quarter of Harvard’s student body at its Cambridge campus are foreign students. Most are graduate students, coming from more than 100 countries.
Earlier this week, the State Department paused the scheduling of new visa interviews for foreign students looking to study in the U.S., saying it was preparing to expand the screening of their activity on social media. It’s unclear whether that pause has been lifted.
This is a long standing problem, letting in foreign students who support Islamic extremism, hate the U.S (and the Western world), and Jews. Who want to see Israel destroyed. One would have thought the feds would have been more careful, restrictive, and discerning in a post-9/11 world. I’d like to blame Obama and his people, but, this was happening under Clinton, and Bush43 didn’t seem to crack down.
Opinion – Pipeline of hate: From campus rhetoric to capital murder
Hatred doesn’t erupt — it festers, it seeps quietly into our culture through rhetoric, ideology and the institutions we trust to educate our young. Then, one day, it explodes.
Last week, that hatred turned lethal in the heart of our nation’s capital. Two young Israeli diplomatic staffers were killed — victims not of a random act of violence, but of a deep-seated ideology that has been allowed to metastasize from college campuses to city streets.
This tragedy did not begin with a gunman. It began with a lecture, a slogan, a chant shouted in the quad, a speech at commencement, or a tenured professor’s tweet. It began the moment elite institutions chose to confuse academic freedom with moral ambiguity or abdication, and to shelter calls for violence under the banner of “resistance.”
The alleged shooter was none other than a radicalized Elias Rodriguez, who had absorbed such teachings and joined the movements supporting them.
This is a long piece by Sabrina Soffer, which I’m surprised The Hill allowed to be published, which describes the long standing anti-Israel and anti-Jew sentiment on campus, particularly as it emanates from teachers. It’s well worth the read, but, it does miss one thing: how it starts with the Islamic extremists on campus, which is intentional, as they use the Muslim Brotherhood playbook. The Muslim Student Association exists to spread Islamism, hatred of the West, and Jew hatred. It’s an attempt to make Western governments and idiot leftists supporters, as well as get them to not interfere. Just allow it to happen. Remember the Pulse nightclub shooting? How many in the media and government looked at it as being a jihadi attack? Not many, right?
And notice that the murder of the two Israelis has mostly disappeared from the news. If it was an Israeli who murdered two Palestinians would we still be getting news?
