Those Wacky Iranians Get Their Gay On

Yes, it seems that once again, the Iranians are telling us exactly what they believe. Will the Left listen, or just chalk it up to a misunderstand, as when Mahmoud said he wanted to wipe Israel off the map?

Homosexuals deserve to be executed or tortured and possibly both, an Iranian leader told British MPs during a private meeting at a peace conference, The Times has learnt.

Mohsen Yahyavi is the highest-ranked politician to admit that Iran believes in the death penalty for homosexuality after a spate of reports that gay youths were being hanged.

Actually, the Left has gone after Mahmoud a bit on this issue. Why is it they will believe that Iran will torture and kill gays, but do not believe that Iran does want to destroy Israel, and is actually fomenting much of the violence against Israel now, as well as against our own soldiers? Is their some sort of quota that needs to be filled?

Unfreaking-believably, this made it into a major liberal news source, which is usually so tolerant of Muslim extremist practices

From what I see of Islam they have a full time job with the executions. 99% of them participate in homosexual activity.

Be it a one humped camel or two humped camel… a lot of humping going on! – Humpback sanddune 2007! If Sharia Law applies to Hollyweirdos & Demlibloonies….ALLAH ACKBAR!!!

  3. Stacy says:

    You’re partially right Darth.

Ninety percent of the Iranian population are Shia; they’re the camel f**kers. But the other ten percent are Sunni, they would be the goat f**kers. Please do not discount the value of either animal. You might offend some by not pointing out this difference.

  4. Silke says:

This is definitely a serious issue in Iran and I’m glad you brought it up. Unfortunately the level of discourse in the comments section is disappointing.

  5. They have been working overtime to eliminate their gays as of late, you’re right on that, scrapiron.

Darth, that was a visual I could have done without 😉

I wonder if PETA will send letters to Mahmoud, telling him to stop allowing his people from abusing the sheep and camels?

It is a serious issue, Silke. Unfortunately, so many on the hard left will mostly ignore these things, as they would rather take the side of Iran then George Bush, in their BDS.

  6. Stacy says:

So what Silke? Are you insulted? Are you also insulted by the fact that in Afghanistan and Iraq millions upon millions of women have been liberated and no longer have to suffer under the Taliban? Are you as equally insulted as I am by NOW who refuses to acknowledge the advancement of women in these misogynistic countries at the hands of the Bush Administration? Are you insulted by the honor killings of women who are victims of rape in these countries? Really Silke, can you be intellectually honest about anything without an agenda?

I don’t assign myself to a particular party. I allow common sense to be my guide. The left does not come out against any of these actions in these nations because they will never side with Bush.

After Almondinnerjacket gave his “we don’t have gays in Iran” precious gem; guess who I saw come out against it the most and most it brutality? Saturday Night Live. How disgusting that the left didn’t have the courage to call a spade a spade.

    Hi Stacy,

Are you also insulted by the fact that in Afghanistan and Iraq millions upon millions of women have been liberated and no longer have to suffer under the Taliban? No. In fact I’m proud that my husband and some very good friends in the military helped to make that happen.

Are you insulted by the honor killings of women who are victims of rape in these countries? Yes.

Really Silke, can you be intellectually honest about anything without an agenda? My comment was not meant to defend Iran’s government or any other government that suppresses its people in the name of religion. However, I thought the comments on this post were needlessly insulting to those Muslims who do not engage in these practices.

For the record that lash came out from reading your comments here, and the postings at Greta’s.

I do know that your husband is a soldier, something I admire and am thankful for.

But I see you doing nothing but marching to the drum beat of the Liberals. When I see common sense come from a liberal, I acknowledge it. Not being open-minded is detrimental on both sides of the aisle. Both parties are full of hypocrites and I lump you in with those. I have yet to see you engage in common sense. But it’s a free country, continue to have at it.

  9. Stacy says:

And, (this will be the last, I really need to get off the puter); I often see you outraged by Creationism. Why? Does it threaten your existence? Does it change how you live your life? I’m old; and never in my time was Creationism taught in any schools I attended. It really is a dead subject at this point. I see you lash out at religion, yet your liberal beliefs expound tolerance. Why can’t you tolerate individuals who CHOOSE to have a faith? Most of us do not shove our religious beliefs down people’s throats; you have every right to ignore it and risk what awaits us in the afterlife. I have many friends who are members of religions I do not agree with. I have friends who are atheists. I do not challenge them, our God-given free will allows them that option. Ninety percent of our planet’s population believes in some sort of deity. That speaks volumes to me. When your religion teaches you to harm others in it’s name, then and only then, should you question it.

Sorry for clogging things up Teach.

  10. Silke says:

    Hi Stacy,

For the record, I consider myself a conservative (fiscal responsibility, strong/sensible foreign policy, smaller government, etc.). I have always voted Republican and I served in the military before resigning my commission when our second child was born.

I understand your frustration with the “left” but I don’t find it very useful to engage in the partisan shouting matches that solve nothing and only serve to divide people more. That doesn’t mean I agree with either extreme on the political spectrum. What you interpret as “marching to the drum beat of the Liberals” I consider honest criticism and debate within my own party – because that is the party I care about.

I am not outraged by Creationism and have great respect for all people of faith. What bothers me is when it affects the teaching of sound science in our public schools (and you seem to agree that religion is not appropriate in our schools). It also bothers me that some people equate the theory of evolution with atheism. That is utterly false. Most people of faith see the teaching of evolution as entirely compatible with their beliefs. I am sorry if I offended you with any of these posts and am open to any criticisms you may have on the subject.

Both parties are full of hypocrites and I lump you in with those. I have yet to see you engage in common sense.

    Ouch…that hurts. 🙁

The islamomaniacs have a point when we have slaughtered over 48 million babies since 1973! The left-wingbats and secular Scrooges have taken CHRIST out of Christmas in some regions, and removed God and prayer from our public schools since 1962. The islamo propaganda machine is up and running at full speed. Camels gallop from 25 mph to 40 mph and have one or two humps. Male camels do not marry one another, nor do female camels. Sorry Rosie and Ellen! Happy Thanksgiving Beth!
