Duke Lacrosse: Black Leaders Urge Calm

Black leaders urged about 40 people gathered Thursday at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church to be patient as the case against two Duke lacrosse players goes forward.

State NAACP President William Barber Jr. warned the community not to engage in vigilante justice. “We cannot become cynical and dismiss a system that we’ve tried to be a part of,” he said.
