WTW: It’s Abortion, Not Choice

Image hosting by Photobucket

Morning, y’all, Jebediah here. I reckon y’all know how interesting it is to watch the little seething Surrender Monkeys have hissy fits, especially at places like the Demoratic Underground. Right now, they are having their little hissy fit over the South Dakota abortion law. You, know, that law that makes it illegal to chose to kill your unborn child.

One of their hissy’s is about it now being easier to find out who is the father, written by “BattyDem.”

When a woman got pregnant before abortion was legal, there was no way for her to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt who the father was. All a guy had to do was spread rumors about the girl, claim she was a slut, trash her reputation by getting a few buddies to say they slept with her or that they knew other guys who slept with her, etc. It was her word against yours and since she was a fallen woman, no one was going to believe her. She was forced to leave town for almost a year. You (or your son) simply walked away and never had to think about it again.

Remember all that sex you had in college? You never had to deal with any consequences, did you? You just assumed that you never got anyone pregnant because no one ever told you that you did. You don’t believe that abortion rights were ever an issue in your life and you don’t expect them to be an issue in your son’s life either. You taught him to be “careful” – just like you always were.

I bet it never even occurred to you that your college girlfriend may have gotten an abortion without telling you.

You just cannot make this stuff up. Well, they can, but for those of us who live in real reality, not Liberal World, we understand that it is about something else. That something is “responsibility.” Yes, yes, I know, that word doesn’t appear in the Libazoid Lexicon. But that is what it is about.

Responsibility to be careful while having sex. Birth control pills, the sponge, and IUD, etc, for the women, condoms for the men. Responsibility is not aborting the child because you got drunk and had wild monkey love with no birth control one night.

The problem with abortion is that it is used as birth control. All the little excuses, such as “I am not ready for a child,” are absurd. The man and woman should have taken the responsibility before the wild monkey love. But, that is not the Surrender Monkey way.

Folks will say that the S.D. law legislates morality. Well, yes, it does. So do the laws regarding murder.

My views on abortion are not quite as draconian, but, I agree that abortion needs to be reigned in. And, if father’s get busted with DNA testing, so what? Were they not part of the act that created the baby? Do they not have any responsibility in all this? Not if you read the thread by the DUmmies.

You can also find plenty of other seetherama’s throughout the DUmmy world, as well as other liberal sites. Because, you know, no one else is allowed to have an opinion on this subject. The Right to “choice” is absolute to them, and should never be infringed, or even discussed, by opponents of medical murder.

And don’t foget — just down the road the woman in Cabarrus county is demanding that the school NOT teach abstinence to her children at all.

I had a conversation with one of the ilLiberals the other day, and they just couldn’t seem to understant that there is a responsibility to do what one needs to do to stop unwanted pregnancies before they happen. Didn’t even want to discuss it. Simply took the position that it would be irresponsible to no allow choice. Very surreal talking with many liberals.

This subject always hits close to home for me. I will never understand the mindset of the pro-choicers.

  4. William Teach says:

Those on the pro choice side cannot even be honest about it, calling it choice, rather then abortion.

  5. JulieB says:

OK. I’ll bite. Making abortion illegal does not stop abortion, it simply moves it underground. Does that slow down those “I’m not ready for a child” people? No, most of them are well to do enough to go somewhere and pay enough money to do it anyway.
Where it hits hard are younger low income girls who gave in to the pressure of a man who didn’t care enough to use a condom. Will there be child support coming from that man? Maybe, if the girl isn’t too frightened to name the father. Some will have their babies, some will use underground abortionists.
Regardless of what happens it is time to have the discussion.

    Hi Teach! I’m back. 🙂

  7. William Teach says:

    Hi, Julie!

Well, I cannot speak for Jebediah, but, though I may get fragged over this, but I am not completely and totally against abortion, no matter how distasteful. Things like rape and incest, saving the mothers life, are, unfortunately, acceptable uses. There should be consideration for underage girls who get pregnant, even though distasteful.

  8. JulieB says:

Yeah, I think we’re closer on this than most in the left/right discussion….

  9. Probably so. Sometimes there are absolutes, sometimes not, at least in reality. I find abortion abhorent, but, the genie is out of the bottle now.
