Hillary Finds Deleting Emails Funny, Resurrects Vast Right Wing Conspiracy

Here’s the person who wants to be president, who is the leading candidate for the Democratic Party. A shameless hack, who’s time in the Senate was marked as a big nothing, and saw her tenure as Secretary of State as a dismal failure. A woman who committed countless crimes, especially in terms of her homebrew email server.

(AP) Hillary Rodham Clinton offered a fierce defense of her handling of the 2012 Benghazi attacks and her use of a private email server as President Barack Obama’s secretary of state, dismissing the controversies as “partisan games” in a speech before influential Iowa Democrats on Friday.

“They’ll try to tell you it’s about Benghazi, but it’s not,” Clinton said, pointing to Republican-led congressional inquiries that she said had “debunked all the conspiracy theories.”

“It’s not about emails or servers either. It’s about politics,” she said.

If Hillary was a Republican, the AP would be spending itself into the red to investigate. And, yes, politics does play a part. How is it even remotely possible to trust Hillary? Yet, Democrats will give her that trust without question, much in the same way Trump supporters are ignoring his far left pedigree.

“I won’t get down in the mud with them. I won’t play politics with national security,” Clinton said at the annual Wing Ding, a Democratic fundraiser in northern Iowa that attracted three other presidential candidates.

No, she’ll just use an improper and unsecured email server, leaving our national security vulnerable. Not too mention all her other problems. When that 3am call comes, the Chinese and Russian hackers will have already seen it.

Turning to her email controversies, Clinton said she would “do my part to provide transparency to Americans — that’s why I’m insisting 55,000 pages of my emails be published as soon as possible” and turned over the server.

She’s about a year too late on that.

Clinton also offered a light take on the email probe when she talked about launching a Snapchat social media account. “I love it,” she said. “Those messages disappear all by themselves.”

Nothing’s funnier than violations of the Espionage Act

Not only did Ms. Clinton deliberately demonstrate disdain for the Federal Records Act and nullify the protections of the Freedom of Information Act, she violated the Espionage Act by having information relating to the national defense on her server at all. And her deliberate disregard for national security made the job of all hackers that much easier.

If she was a reporter, a low level government employee, heck, you or me, she’d already be under indictment. The FBI would have seized the server and thumb-drives. Heck, the use of that homebrew server would have stopped quickly, when the bosses and others realized that we were not using the proper email. If a company acted in this manner, they’d be looking at massive civil and criminal penalties.

Hillary? She just laughs and makes jokes.

Obama Has A Sad Over Heavy Crime Rates In Mostly Democratic Party Run Cities

He does, he really does, especially as he takes a super expensive vacation in Martha’s Vineyard, and the MSM squees over his Spotify list

(The Hill) President Obama on Saturday acknowledged work remains on improving relations between law enforcement and the minority communities they serve.

Obama said Americans must continue tackling class, race and poverty following multiple fatal encounters between police and minorities during 2015 so far.

“Over the past year, we’ve come to see, more clearly than ever, the frustration in many communities of color and the feeling that our laws can be applied unevenly,” he said during his weekly address.

Interestingly, race relations have nose dived during Obama’s time in office.

“But let’s be clear: the issues raised over the past year aren’t new, and they won’t be solved by policing alone,” the president added. “We simply can’t ask our police to contain and control issues that the rest of us aren’t willing to address – as a society.”

What’s even more interesting is how most of these problems seem to occur in cities run mostly/solely by elected officials who ran as Democrats. Baltimore, which has seen much strife? Democrats. There were three killed, and two injured in overnight Thursday shootings. Two were shot Friday, including a city firefighter. There have been over two hundred murders in Democrat Baltimore so far, on pace to be a record year. Obama’s little speech started thusly

Hi everybody. It’s now been a year since the tragic death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. His death—along with the events in Cleveland, Staten Island, Baltimore, Cincinnati, and other communities—sparked protests and soul searching all across our country. Over the past year, we’ve come to see, more clearly than ever, the frustration in many communities of color and the feeling that our laws can be applied unevenly.

No mention of Michael Brown stealing, assaulting a police officer, attempting to take his gun, then charging the officer, leading to his own death. No mention of the riots, the looting, the arson, the violence. Is this what he considers “soul searching” in the Black community? Instead of cracking down, he coddles, almost giving permission, much like Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake did, when she yammered about “giving those who wished to destroy space”.

That starts with reforming a criminal justice system that too often is a pipeline from inadequate schools to overcrowded jails, wreaking havoc on communities and families all across the country. So we need Congress to reform our federal sentencing laws for non-violent drug offenders. We need to keep working to help more prisoners take steps to turn their lives around so they can contribute to their communities after they’ve served their time.

And what of those who are living in poverty in urban ghettos, with absent fathers, mothers who have had children by multiple men, full dependency on the government, squalid living conditions, and lets not forget the low job opportunities for Blacks. Roughly 25% of young Black men are jobless. This is while Obama attempts to legalize all the illegal aliens, making it even tougher for Blacks who want to escape these urban Democratic plantations through work.

More broadly, we need to truly invest in our children and our communities so that more young people see a better path for their lives. That means investing in early childhood education, job training, pathways to college. It means dealing honestly with issues of race, poverty, and class that leave too many communities feeling isolated and segregated from greater opportunity. It means expanding that opportunity to every American willing to work for it, no matter what zip code they were born into.

Again, who runs these cities? Democrats have been in charge of Detroit since the late 1960’s. The city was once referred to as The Paris Of The West. Since the 1970’s, it has been called the Mogadishu of the West. Chicago has terrible violence and murders. Newark, Camden, Birmingham, Baltimore, you name them, Democratic cities are bad for Blacks. Democrat policies are bad for Blacks. The party was the party of slavery, Jim Crow, and segregation, as well as the KKK. A goodly chunk were against the Civil Rights Act(s), and simply moved from outright racism to putting blacks into urban ghettos.

Hillary Clinton Just Wanted To Send Emails Like You And Me

The always insane Think Progress provides a hilarious excuse for Hillary’s email server issues

Hillary Clinton Just Wanted To Send Emails From Her Phone Like A Normal Person

In what’s likely to be one of the major controversies of her campaign, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s desire to use her phone for both work and personal communications like the rest of the world has sparked a federal investigation and controversy that may likely set the tone for her campaign — and serve as a warning to the prevailing nominee.

Blah blah blah. There’s always some excuse. In case it was missed, she was Secretary of State, a position she accepted, and certain rules apply. She could have cheated and put another email account, a personal one, on her State Sept phone, and used an official SD email address for Government Business.

Instead, she chose to use a half baked home brew server, and we all know why. And it has nothing to do with the Think Progress headline.

Obama To Take Long Fossil Fueled Trip To Alaska To Whine About Fossil Fuels

The White House has even released video!

(The Hill) President Obama plans to travel to Alaska at the end of the month to highlight the impacts of climate change on America’s last frontier.

In a video Thursday, Obama said Alaska is in a unique position when it comes to climate change and he will meet with local and international leaders to discuss what is happening and how to stop it.

“In Alaska, glaciers are melting,” he said.
“The hunting and fishing upon which generations have depended for their way of life and for their jobs are being threatened. Storm surges once held at bay now endanger entire villages. As Alaskan permafrost melts, some homes are even sinking into the ground. The state’s God-given natural treasures are all at risk.”

While the focus later this month will be on Alaska, Obama wants all Americans to be watching.

“What’s happening in Alaska isn’t just a preview of what will happen to the rest of us if we don’t take action,” he said. “It’s our wake-up call. The alarm bells are ringing. And as long as I’m president, America will lead the world to meet this threat before it’s too late.”

The carbon footprint for a round trip flight, first class, from Dulles to Ted Stephens airport (Alaska) is 6.33 metric tons, a third of the average carbon footprint for U.S. citizens. Certainly, Obama’s footprint will be at least double that, probably much more, what with 2 jumbo jets, along with several fighter jets for cover. Plus, his giant convoy of fossil fueled vehicles.

Senator Lisa “Squishy Republican” Murkowski and Alaskans are suspicious

“The president of the United States doesn’t go to anybody’s state and stay three days and not do something,” Murkowski said last week at an event hosted by Bloomberg Business.

She said Alaskans are speculating that Obama will announce steps to further restrict oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, establish a marine sanctuary or other actions.

Of course, Obama, and Warmists in general, aren’t known for recognizing their own hypocrisy.

Good News: Jimmy Carter’s Defense Secretary Chimes In On The Iran Deal, Says It’s Great!

Who is Harold Brown?

Harold Brown was secretary of defense during the Carter administration and previously led the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and development of the Polaris missile warhead. He also served as U.S. director of Defense Research and Engineering and as secretary of the Air Force.

He’s certainly a smart guy, no doubt about it. Smart enough to recognize that Iran will cheat. But, he doesn’t care

Why accepting the Iran nuclear deal is a no-brainer

My experience as defense secretary during the Iran hostage crisis more than three decades ago tells me that Iran will probably try to circumvent thenuclear deal. My participation in nuclear weapons negotiations with the Soviet Union from 1958 through SALT II in the 1970s — during very hot points in the Cold War — reinforces my caution. Yet the United States can only accept or reject the deal, so let me discuss bottom-line pros and cons.

So, he just told us Iran will cheat. That right there should be a major con which should scuttle the deal, because the “snap-backs” for sanctions will never ever happen.

Iran’s nuclear program, its advance suspended during the negotiations, is but two years from a nuclear weapon. That’s an urgent problem demanding immediate attention. Iranian possession of nuclear arms would give other regional powers an irresistible urge to obtain them. The Middle East and Persian Gulf conflicts would escalate. That consideration surely motivated the unicorn-level rarity of a common position among the United States, Britain, France, Germany, the European Union, Russia and China.

He notes later on that Iran (if they do not cheat) would have to suspend their nuclear weapons operations, for the most part, for 10-15 years. Might not other Middle East nations decide they want to get a jump on Iran and develop their own nuclear weapons program?

Defenders of the deal point out that there are provisions to adequately monitor Iran’s compliance. Opponents note other concerns, including Iran’s ballistic missile program; its misbehavior in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere; its support of terrorists; and its threats and verbal attacks on Israel’s right to exist. These observations, although correct, are irrelevant to the more urgent task of trying to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons by 2017.

Au contraire, they are way more than relevant, when Iran is supporting terrorism and acts that kill American citizens, when they threaten one of America’s key allies. Threatening to “wipe Israel off the map” is rather important, but, blowing it off is not unsurprising, seeing as how Mr. Brown served with Jimmy Carter, a noted ante-Semite and Israel hater, a guy who takes the side of Palestinian terrorists.

Does the agreement decrease pressure on Iran by giving it access to its frozen billions in assets? Yes, but it’s the nature of a deal that adversaries must give up some objectives. We could have devised a more favorable deal, but there would be no chance of an Iranian signature on the document. A “better deal” without an Iranian signature is worthless.

That’s what happens when one negotiates from a position of weakness. And, we barely even get a temporary state of security, since Iran will further fund terrorism in the Middle East.

Failure of U.S. adherence to the deal would not slow but would hasten an Iranian nuclear weapon. The Russians and Chinese would certainly not sustain economic sanctions. Sanctions by the other countries would erode as well. With all of this in mind, approving the agreement is a no-brainer.

The Russians and Chinese will not allow sanctions to snap-back. Nor will the European nations which stand to make a lot of money trading with Iran. Hence, the deal is toothless, and we’ll have to deal with this down the road yet again.

I’ll ask one more time: if this deal was proposed by a Republican, how would Democrats be reacting?

Could Al Gore Run For The Democratic Nomination?

I’ll admit, I voted for him in 2000. This was back before he went stark raving mad on “climate change”, and seemed to care more about true environmentalism. But, hey, what we need is yet another old white entitled male to take out Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Party primaries, to use liberal terminology

(The Hill) Al Gore’s supporters have started chatting with the former vice president about a potential 2016 presidential bid, BuzzFeed News reported Thursday, citing an unnamed senior Democrat.

“They’re figuring out if there’s a path financially and politically,” the Democrat told BuzzFeed, which noted Gore hasn’t made any moves toward running. “It feels more real than it has in the past months.”

ABC’s Rick Klein tweeted that a former Gore adviser confirmed that a “circle of his former aides are talking about” a potential 2016 bid though they are still in the very early part of the discussion.

Gore starting trending nationally on Twitter shortly after the reports emerged Thursday.

This would be awesome, as we’d finally get Gore to debate on his pet subject, “climate change”. For being one of the main proponents of the movement, Gore has been reticent to debate anyone. Oh, who am I kidding, Gore refuses to engage in a debate with anyone on the subject. He’s great when it comes to prognostications and invective, but, he won’t defend it.

He stated that the Arctic would be ice free in 2014. Fail. He pimped the loss of glaciers on Mt. Kilimanjaro as being caused by climate change. That was wrong, because we found out that it had to do with clear-cutting trees. A British judge trashed his movie “An Inconvenient Truth”. He has a massive “carbon footprint”, but wants Everyone Else to be forced to give up their use of fossil fuels. He sold his TV network, Current, to Al Jazeera, which is partially owned by the Quatari royal family. The entire Quatar economy is based on fossil fuels. He jets the world around on private jets. He is one of the biggest climate hypocrites in the world.

It would be fantastic seeing him attempt to defend his climate change beliefs in a debate for the first time. Cult of Climastrology members say they want a debate on the subject for the 2016 elections: I really do not think they’d enjoy the outcome. So, run, Al, run!

BTW, Joe Biden, another old white entitled man is getting closer to deciding if he’s going to run, attempting to take out the woman in the race for the Democrats.

Happy Earth Overshoot Day Or Something!

Believe it or not, the hardcore enviroweenies/Warmists are actually pushing this. And, of course, they wrap this whole thing under the banner of Hotcoldwetdry

Happy Earth Overshoot Day! We’ve Now Used All Our Resources For The Year.

On this day in August 2015, humans have used an entire year’s worth of the Earth’s natural resources, according to the Global Footprint Network.

Calling it Earth Overshoot Day, the group celebrates — or, rather, notes — the day by which people have used more natural resources, such as fish stocks, timber, and even carbon emissions, than the Earth can regenerate in a single year. It’s basically a balance sheet for global accounting.

“We can overuse nature quite easily,” Mathis Wackernagel, president of the Global Footprint Network, told ThinkProgress. “When you start to spend more than you earn, it does not become immediately apparent. But, eventually, you go bankrupt.”

There’s an easy solution: all these believers can just kill themselves, something that they want for Other People. They don’t seem to care too much about human life, other than themselves. Or, really, they can refuse to breed, and they can immediately give up all use of fossil fuels, go completely carbon neutral, live in itty bitty domiciles, growing their own food, no AC, no heat, etc.

Amazingly, even if humanity were to achieve the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) recommended 30 percent reduction in carbon emissions by 2030, we would still be in a yearly deficit, according to the group.

Huh. Moving the goalpost. These people always want more.

NY Times: Lying To People On Climate Change Is A Worthy Goal

NY Times opinion writer/Warmist Anna North is very upset that people might be mislead by Skeptics, and inadvertently highlights that she, and other Cult of Climastrology members, have no problems lying, despite the headline

Why Misleading Americans About Climate Change Is Dangerous

Even as the Pope and some conservatives call for action on climate change, it remains common among Republican politicians to claim that the science on the issue is murky or inconclusive. The latest to take this position is Gov. John Kasich of Ohio.

As Josh Israel notes at ThinkProgress, Governor Kasich has been lauded by some for his relatively moderate comments in last week’s presidential debate — and in a TV appearance on Sunday, the governor acknowledged that “man absolutely affects the environment,” and pointed to reduced emissions and alternative-energy efforts in Ohio. However, he also said that the impact of humans on the climate was a matter of “legitimate debate,” and that “we don’t want to destroy people’s jobs, based on some theory that’s not proven.”

In fact the overwhelming majority of research supports the reality of climate change — a 2013 review of nearly 12,000 scientific articles published between 1991 and 2011 found that of those that took a position on the issue, 97.1 percent endorsed the idea that climate change was real and human-caused. The study concluded that papers disputing climate change were “a vanishingly small proportion of the published research.”

Citing a completely debunked paper (this is the John Cook one being cited), one which has even been debunked by people the paper cites as supporting a postion that Mankind is responsible for 50% or greater of the current warm period, is not a particularly strong position. Furthermore, the vast majority of the papers in that survey did not take a position/held that Mankind was not mostly/solely responsible.

Making Americans aware of this fact can have real effects. A study published earlier this year found that informing people of the scientific consensus on climate change “causes a significant increase in the belief that climate change is (a) happening, (b) human-caused and (c) a worrisome problem. In turn, changes in these key beliefs lead to increased support for public action.”

“Even a single, simple description of the scientific consensus significantly shifted public perceptions of the consensus and subsequent climate change beliefs and desire for action,” write the study’s authors. “A concerted campaign to inform the public about the scientific consensus would ideally involve numerous exposures to the key message, conveyed by a variety of trusted messengers.”

And, boom, right there, Ms. North, and, by extension, the NY Times, are advocating that people should be misled on the subject in order to get them to change their minds. Well, really, they are advocating straight up lying to people.

Unfortunately, climate change deniers are doing the exact opposite — repeatedly misinforming the public by painting climate change as scientifically controversial, when in fact it’s anything but.

The problem here, of course, is that throwing out a one-liner about the 97% consensus is much easier than explaining why the study is a complete pant load, a work of fiction. Short talking points repeated ad nauseum are easier to believe than complicated rebuttals. And that’s the way they want it.

But, Warmists don’t want it enough to change their own lives. Just Other People’s lives.
