Doom Today: Climate Crisis (scam) Could Get Rid Of Kimchi

I won’t miss it. The real stuff smells. But, the object here is to prognosticate doom in order for government to take your money and freedom

Kimchi no more? Climate change puts South Korea’s beloved cabbage dish at risk

South Korea’s famous kimchi is falling victim to climate change, with scientists, farmers and manufacturers saying the quality and quantity of the napa cabbage that is pickled to make the ubiquitous dish is suffering due to rising temperatures.

Napa cabbage thrives in cooler climates, and is usually planted in mountainous regions where temperatures during the key growing summer season once rarely rose above 25 Celsius (77 Fahrenheit).

Shockingly, temperatures fluctuate year over year, and through various warm and cool periods

Studies show that warmer weather brought about by climate change is now threatening these crops, so much so that South Korea might not be able to grow napa cabbage one day due to the intensifying heat.

“We hope these predictions don’t come to pass,” plant pathologist and virologist Lee Young-gyu said. (snip)

Data from the government statistics agency shows the area of highland cabbage farmed last year was less than half of what it was 20 years ago: 3,995 hectares compared to 8,796 hectares.

According to the Rural Development Administration, a state farming think tank, climate change scenarios project the farmed area to shrink dramatically in the next 25 years to just 44 hectares, with no cabbage grown in the highlands by 2090.

And what if things are just fine in 25 years? In 2090? Will anyone remember the prognostication of doom and decry the scaremongering? Of course not: that’s the whole point of making these crystal ball readings so far out. It’s impossible to prove or disprove them now.

“When we see the reports that there will come a time in Korea when we can no longer grow cabbage, it was shocking on the one hand and also sad at the same time,” Kim said.

“Kimchi is something we cannot not have on the table. What are we going to do if this happens?”

What happened during the previous Holocene warm and cool periods?

Islamic Terrorism Supporters Fly Terrorist Flags, Preach Death To Jews In NYC

How are we allowing these people to stay in the United States? If they are not natural born then any legal status can, by law, be revoked, and then have them be deported? Why are we allowing terrorist supporters in to the US post 9/11?

‘From the water to the water, Palestine is Arab’: Hamas flags fly at NYC anti-Israel march

Terrorist organization flags and symbols flew in New York City on Monday as dozens of anti-Israel organizations took to the streets to protest ongoing Israeli military action against Hamas and the reaction by authorities and officials to pro-Palestinian demonstrations since the October 7 Massacre.

A banner featuring the flags of Hamas’s Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades was waved in videos published by the Bronx Anti-War Coalition, and in other videos posted by principal protest organizer Within Our Lifetime another banner placed the Hezbollah flag alongside those of Middle Eastern states.

Singular Hamas and Hezbollah flags could also be seen among the thousands of marchers, who changed slogans and wielded signs accusing the US government of aiding and abetting a supposed Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

“From the water to the water, Palestine is Arab,” protesters chanted during the march.

That sounds like a chant to destroy Israel and kill Jews.

Some protesters wore Hamas headbands, and one man waved a banner emblazoned with the images of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and PFLP General Secretary Ahmad Saadat. The banner’s logo belonged to the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network, a PFLP-tied NGO.

Deport these people. The 1st Amendment does not apply when people are calling for the death of Jews. And, remember, the vast majority of these Islamic terrorism supporters vote Democrat

“Calling for a ceasefire is not enough. Calling for an arms embargo is not enough,” WOL leader Nerdeen Kiswani said in a speech while flanked by terrorist flags. The people standing with Palestine right now are resisting alongside us, from Yemen to Lebanon and beyond. If you stand with Palestinians, you stand with Palestinian resistance.”

Kiswani is a seriously unhinged Jew hater and Islamic terrorism supporter, and has been for a while. She was even named “Anti-Semite Of The Year” in 2020. This is who is being listened to.

Climate Change Can Cause Bridges to ‘Fall Apart Like Tinkertoys,’ Experts Say

On a 95-degree day this summer, New York City’s Third Avenue Bridge, connecting the Bronx and Manhattan, got stuck in the open position for hours. As heat and flooding scorched and scoured the Midwest, a steel railroad bridge connecting Iowa with South Dakota collapsed under surging waters. In Lewiston, Maine, a bridge closed after the pavement buckled from fluctuating temperatures.

America’s bridges, a quarter of which were built before 1960, were already in need of repair. But now, extreme heat and increased flooding linked to climate change are accelerating the disintegration of the nation’s bridges, engineers say, essentially causing them to age prematurely.

The result is a quiet but growing threat to the safe movement of people and goods around the country, and another example of how climate change is reshaping daily life in ways Americans may not realize.

“We have a bridge crisis that is specifically tied to extreme weather events,” said Paul Chinowsky, a professor of civil engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder who researches the effects of climate change on infrastructure. “These are not things that would happen under normal climate circumstances. These are not things that we’ve ever seen at this rate.”

A 1.6F increase in the global temperature is not going to doom all the bridges. This is a doomsday cult, though, so, there’s always something they can cray doom about.

Kamala Avoids Even Hearing Questions From Reporters With Earbuds

And, with the state of the Credentialed Media, will any actually push back on this?

(UK Daily Mail) Kamala Harris continues to avoid facing the media alone, drawing derision for wearing earbuds as the throngs of reporters tried to question her as she got on a plane Monday.

Harris – who took more than a month to give an interview with a major media outlet after announcing her run for president – was leaving Joint Base Andrews in Maryland to campaign across the midwest Monday and was filmed boarding her flight.

The vice president, with apple earbuds connected via a USB cable to her phone, salutes and shakes hands with a soldier as she board the plane.

People can be overheard trying to get Harris’ attention, but she simply waved dismissively and got on the flight, adjusting her earbuds to make sure they were fully in her ears as she did so.

Seriously, this is the person running for the most powerful position on Earth?

Americans/Jews/Israelis were just slaughtered by Hamas, and she not only can’t answer questions, but, wears headphones to avoid hearing questions? And, seriously, how old is her phone that she can use wired headphones? And, come on, it’s 2024, wired headphones?

The Harris campaign now looks ahead to the presidential debate on ABC on September 10.

Trump will provide a hostile environment which she has so far managed to avoid.

Jennings last night said: ‘She’s trying to skip a block of time, and at the debate, Trump [will] not allow it.’

If she thinks the media will be friendly and try and stop her from answering question, Trump will be right there. And, America will be watching her avoid answering.

Your Fault: Hiker Deaths Increase In Grand Canyon

Hiker deaths in Grand Canyon rise amid extreme weather linked to climate crisis

More than one dozen park-goers have died in Grand Canyon national park this summer, with three perishing in just over one week in August, as weather extremes linked to climate change make for increasingly dangerous conditions.

With 14 deaths reported in the park this season, total fatalities have already almost reached the annual average of 15, the Hill reported.

One hiker who died, Chenoa Nickerson, was last seen on 22 August above the confluence of Havasu Creek and the Colorado River, National Park Service officials said. Nickerson was reported missing after a flash flood hit the Havasu canyon, and her body was found on 25 August.

The Havasupai tribe reported catastrophic flash floods, which damaged “the main trail to Supai Village, trails within the village, tribal member homes, public utility systems and the campgrounds,” on the day she went missing. An 80-year-old man died when his boat capsized on 25 August, plunging him into the Colorado River, per the Hill.

The average deaths is 12, meaning some years are less and some are more

Heather Klein Olson, the American Hiking Society’s executive director, told the outlet that these deaths involve various factors. An uptick in intense rainfall, as well as development near parks that impact water systems, are among them.

At the same time, there is an influx of visitors after Covid-19. “Everyone is interested and wants to get outside, and it’s beautiful, and we love our outdoors,” Klein Olson told the Hill. “But there’s also a variety of factors that have to be considered when we get outside.”

Not everyone can really hike like that, and aren’t necessarily outdoors people. I took some people up to hike in Hillsborough, highest point west of Winston Salem, and some didn’t do that well hiking up 300 ft vertically. The Grand Canyon is much more, plus, all the water, which can be rough.

A causal link between climate change-induced weather extremes and Grand Canyon deaths remains unclear. But the US has been wracked by record-breaking weather events this year, including a spate of heatwaves that have impacted millions of Americans’ daily lives.

So, they have no idea, but, they’ll still blame it on ‘climate change’. It’s a cult.

NYC Illegal Alien Shelter Overrun As A Fight Club

The local residents are pretty upset over this. How many have voted for Democrats and supported making NYC a sanctuary city?

NYC migrant shelter overrun by teen ‘fight club,’ constant shrieking as residents rip disturbance: ‘Becoming unbearable’

Neighbors can’t help but talk about this fight club.

The residents of a Queens apartment building say they’ve hardly had a moment’s peace since January when a 128-room hotel in Long Island City was transformed into a city-run migrant shelter.

Children living in the seven-story building loiter outside the front entrance in large, unsupervised groups practically every evening, claim residents next door at 911 44th Drive. From 8 p.m. until well past midnight, the kids fight and chase each other around, shouting, screaming — and disrupting neighbors’ sleep.

“I’ve seen the kids squaring off like its ‘Fight Club,’ and I’ve seen them choking each other,” said another resident. “Sometimes, the guards will come out and break it up. But I’ve also seen them do nothing.

Videos provided to The Post show the teens screaming and fighting outside the shelter’s main door, sometimes with the shelter’s security guards watching and egging them on.

Shouldn’t the Democrats be celebrating the diversity? Otherwise, to use their own language, they’re being racist.

“Because of the way the children scream and shriek, it pierces through everything,” said one a neighbor who has lived in the building since 2011, and asked to remain anonymous, fearing retaliation. “Since around April, I would say it has been a nightly occurrence.”

“I have nothing against migrants, but to have to listen to this every night, unable to sleep, it’s becoming unbearable,” he continued.

It truly stinks when you are forced to confront the consequences of your votes and beliefs, eh?

A Department of Social Services spokesperson would not even confirm the former hotel is now a shelter, “to safeguard the privacy of vulnerable New Yorkers” and “social services beneficiaries residing at these locations.”

Added the irate neighbor: “I don’t care who you are or where you come from, but be a good neighbor. It is really not more complicated than wanting to be able to sleep a reasonable amount of time.”

If you import the third world you get the third world. Enjoy!

Youts Have A Big Vote Decision: A Good Economy Or Climate (scam) Action

For a change, ‘climate change’ isn’t coming in last or almost last on a poll

Economic issues, climate change, gun violence and abortion are top of mind for young voters

Forty-one million members of Gen Z can vote in this year’s election, and money is on their minds.

Economic issues — including inflation, cost of living and jobs that pay a living wage — are top of mind for young people when it comes to the 2024 Presidential Election, according to the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at Tufts University.

“Young people have the potential to have a huge impact,” said CIRCLE Spokesperson Alberto Medina.

Yeah, but, they so often go missing from the voting booth

The percentage of youth, ages 18-34 year olds, who selected each issue as one of their top three priorities, according to CIRCLE’s poll —

  • Cost of living/inflation — 53%
  • Jobs that pay a living wage — 28%
  • Gun violence prevention — 26%
  • Addressing climate change — 26%
  • Expanding access to abortion — 19%
  • Fighting racism — 13%
  • Securing the border — 13%
  • Public education — 13%
  • Student loan debt — 12%
  • Reducing the national debt — 11%

Ella Douglas, an 18-year-old freshman at Ohio State University, said the economy is her top issue. “I care about where our money is going,” she said.

Well, if that’s what she and 53% care about as their top issue, why would they vote for Kamala, who’s presided over much more expensive housing, food, energy, and so much more? Inflation that has outpaced wages? Do they really care enough about ‘climate change’ to destroy their own economic well-being?

Denver Police Searching For Person(s) Who Put Up Sign About Illegal Aliens

They aren’t working hard to deal with all the crime by illegals/migrants, including the gang members, but, boy howdy, put up a sign and you’re in a heap of trouble

The Denver Post calls these signs “racist”, not understanding that the word doesn’t apply Hispanics, and, it’s so racist that they published a photo of the sign about Kamala’s illegals. Go figure. Anyhow

(KDVR) Community leaders gathered in Denver Friday to talk about racist signs popping up around the city. Leaders were frustrated and disappointed this hateful act happened in their neighborhood but were glad police acted swiftly to remove them.

“I was saddened yesterday when I saw these signs coming up,” said Sondra Young, president of the Denver Branch of the NAACP. “I was saddened for the fact that we say we want to make America great again, but we want to also spew hate and fear. We can’t make America great like that. I was saddened by the fact that people thought that this land is segregated and it’s not the land for all of us. It’s for all of our voices, our cultures, our ethnicities, our vernacular. This land was made for you and me.”

Aren’t these also the same people who have been complaining about the huge sums of taxpayer money being spent on the illegals, and how they’re bringing crime and squalor? Also, KDVR published the “racist” sign.

(Denver Police Chief) Thomas said police are not ready to talk about whether they have identified a suspect, but they are investigating the crime as a bias-motivated hate crime.

“At the very least, it is illegal to post signs on public or private property. I think what we are looking at very seriously are some bias-motivated state crimes that have much more serious punishments,” Thomas told a group of reports after the press conference. “Ultimately, it will be the district attorney that will make those charging decisions, but we will investigate this very vigorously as a bias-motivated hate crime.

“We are following a number of significant leads,” Thomas continued. “I think fostered by video evidence that we have and other evidence that we have, have helped us kind of narrow in on some individuals. We hope to make some positive identifications and continue to work with the district attorney. I’m hoping that we can hold someone accountable here fairly soon.”

Under Colorado law, it is a Class one misdemeanor, carrying a penalty of up to a year in jail.

I’m pretty sure that this form of protest is covered by the US 1st Amendment, and Article II, Section 10 of the Colorado Constitution. I know liberals are not particularly happy with allowing people to have free speech and the ability to protest unless said person agrees with the liberal position 100%.
