Crap. I Agree With The HuffPo On Brian Williams

Seems as if Brian Williams (who at least has higher ratings then Katie C) has an issue with bloggers (via Dean Barnet at Hugh Hewitt's)

"You're going to be up against people who have an opinion, a modem, and a bathrobe. All of my life, developing credentials to cover my field of work, and now I'm up against a guy named Vinny in an efficiency apartment in the Bronx who hasn't left the efficiency apartment in two years" — Brian Williams, anchor of the "NBC Nightly News," speaking before New York University journalism students on the challenges traditional journalism faces from online media.

Isn't he cute? Maybe he should take a look at Michelle Malkin, Captain Ed, the guys at Iraq the Model, etc, and so on. Way to many to list who go out and get the news. Some report it unbiased, some have a conservative spin, some have a liberal spin. Maybe if the mainstream media could be actually trusted to report the news. Tain't going to happen.

Even the Huffington Post has issues with Williams

Putting aside the blatant classism of Williams' remark – apparently people who can only afford efficiency apartments are incapable of producing anything original of value – we have to be concerned with the fact that one of our leading anchormen (with two real degrees and five honorary ones) is so out of touch with the nature of our "post-consumerist" world.

I'm going to drink myself into a stupor with Mich Lite while watching blue collar hockey in my sweats and t-shirt now. Sheesh. Agreeing with the HuffPo.
