Wait.. that’s too confusing.
She said she was Pro-Choice, but then didn’t allow him to have a choice….
Does that mean she really wasn’t Pro-Choice? Or did that mean she didn’t want him to be able to choose the choices she wanted to choose?
Or did that mean her being Pro-Choice isn’t really about freedoms and choices?
cartoons sure are confusing.
It means the only choice that’s allowable is an abortion, at least legally. You can choose to do those other things but you’ll be in trouble with The Law.
dang it
dang it
dang it
Ya know Teach and Gumball, I have never understood the idea that outlawing something teaches people to “make good choices.”
But such is the libetal way of thinking.
Oh come on. Really GC?
It’s the same way we raise children. We show them an object, tell them they are never ever to touch it because they have a choice to choose to not touch it. But, we are taking away that choice for their own good. And after that, the kid never again wishes for that object or seeks it out.
We know this works time and time again.
/sarcasm yes. But we have to be careful because as a conservative, I for one want to outlaw abortion on the basis that it kills life.
Well, Liberals are like Grandma, who has that big comfy couch that you are NEVER allowed to sit on. No! Bad! Look but don’t touch!
Liberals are big on discussing freedom and liberty, but, when it comes down to it, they’re not big on allowing it. This is liberalism. Talking and doing something different.
“Liberals are like Grandma, who has that big comfy couch that you are NEVER allowed to sit on.”
No, go ahead and sit on her good furniture — she covered it all with hard, uncomfortable plastic slipcovers. (Italian grandmothers, especially, actually used to do this.)
