Elites Meeting In Davos Very Concerned About Global Boiling

Yeah, this Davos

They want to tell you how to live your life, and, if you won’t comply, use government force to make you

Climate change is in the spotlight as leaders meet in Davos: What can we expect?

The climate crisis is in the spotlight as the World Economic Forum (WEF) holds its annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland this week.

Following COP28 – and with the climate crisis topping the forum’s list of the biggest risks over the next decade – governments and business leaders are facing some monumental challenges. Just last week, the EU’s Copernicus Climate Change Service revealed that 2023 had been the hottest year on record with major implications for keeping global warming below 1.5C. (snip)

Climate change is among the biggest risks the world faces over the next decade, according to the WEF’s Global Risks report published last week ahead of Davos.

The report also argues that cooperation on pressing global issues like climate change is in short supply. It calls on leaders to rethink action to address these risks and foster greater research into areas that could help like climate modelling or technologies for the green transition.

Who made lost of these people leaders? Did we vote them in to act as dictators? How about the non-governmental folks? Where’d they get the power? And why in the hell should we listen to people who are complete and utter climahypocrites? I sure as heck wouldn’t listen to someone with lots of tickets and dents on their car tell me how to drive.

You can’t expect Our Betters to skip a glamorous trip for themselves and their mistresses just because they’d spew extra CO2 into the atmosphere, can you?

    • Professor Hale says:

I, for one, am glad the cultural and political elites take a little time for themselves to recharge and rest. Running the whole world from the shadows must be a very taxing job, spiritually, if not physically. The extra tons of CO2 they spew into the air is a small price to pay for all they do for us. Likewise if they needed a few hundred underaged boys and girls help them relax.

  2. James Lewis says:

The problems with EV’s have been known for years. I have no sympathy for anyone purchasing one.

In the frigid Midwest, Tesla owners are facing a harsh reality: their electric vehicles (EVs) are failing to charge in the extreme cold.

Desperate drivers have been left stranded, unable to power up their cars amidst the icy grip of winter.

This alarming situation raises serious concerns about the practicality of EVs and the government’s role in their promotion.

As temperatures plummet, charging stations have turned into graveyards for abandoned EVs.

One Tesla owner, Tyler Beard, spent six hours over two days attempting to charge his car, only to find it still at zero percent.

  4. […] And, as William Teach notes…….the Klimate Kooks really hate your liberty […]

Was funny as heck this morning. I went to the super Wawa in Camden to get gas and all 16 of the superchargers we’re covered in ice and snow. Seems the boss had the plows clear all the snow off around the gas pumps because that’s where the business is. And they didn’t have any other place to put the snow except piled it in front of the electric chargers. Now at the end there were four chargers that were available. According to the poor guys standing there trying to charge none of them were working. must be hell to be on the right side of history during a snow storm. LOL

    • Professor Hale says:

… none of them were working.

More accurately, they weren’t broken, the batteries don’t charge in temperatures this cold. That is why the Army designs for electric vehicles include battery warmers and coolers. As Mr Lewis pointed out, non of this was a secret. This was a known limitation of the technology.
