   Maybe the mud wasn’t from flooding, but from lakes drying up, also due to climate change. Please investigate further and post an update. It is important to know which arbitrary connection to climate change we are using today.

       Any real off-road mud-dogger would have a winch in the front of his Jeep, to hook onto a tree stump and pull his vehicle out.

       On the front of your Jeep, a winch is more useful than a wench.
