Sigh: Now Trump Is Going After Virginia Gov Youngkin

If you’re not helping the mission, you’re hurting the mission. And the mission is to win the White House, Senate, and House in 2024, as well as state general assemblies and governors. This is not helping

Youngkin, like DeSantis, faces Trump’s fury

Fresh off a diatribe against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, whom he derisively described as an “average” Republican in a Thursday social media post, former President Donald Trump on Friday morning went after another popular Republican governor — Glenn Youngkin of Virginia — in what seemed like a warning meant to dissuade him from seeking the presidency in 2024.

“Young Kin (now that’s an interesting take. Sounds Chinese, doesn’t it?) in Virginia couldn’t have won without me,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, his proprietary social media network. It is not clear why he falsely insinuated that Youngkin was of Chinese ancestry (the origins of the governor’s name are Germanic), but Trump has a record of rhetoric against China and Chinese people, which during the coronavirus pandemic contributed to anti-Asian rhetoric and violence.

First, Trump did not denigrate Chinese people, he blocked them from coming over near the beginning of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic. And, if memory serves, the Democrats and their pet media called Trump a raaaaacist for that. Second, here’s what it looks like in full

A less combative and polarizing figure than DeSantis, Youngkin could hold more appeal to suburban voters, who helped him win in the northern Virginia suburbs, which have sometimes been seen as a presidential bellwether. Throughout the fall, he and DeSantis both campaigned for Republican candidates, albeit in different states.

Will he run? Will DeSantis run? How about Greg Abbott, Nikki Haley, Kristi Noem, or Doug Ducey? Regardless, we saw this show in 2016, and we do not need a reboot. It would go over as well as the reboot of Charmed. Not good. His time is past. Much of his schtick has gotten stale and old. Sure, he can fill a concert venue for a speech. But, it should not be about him anymore. It needs to be about taking back the country from the Modern Socialists. He wants to be a celebrity.

I’m moving on. I gave up on Palin back in 2011 (can’t find that post, I think I might have only written it at Right Wing News. Probably have to dig further back in the archives). In a later post here and at RWN on Palin endorsing Trump

Many of you know my feelings on the subject of Sarah Palin. She lost my support politically when she played the will she/won’t she game in regards to running for president last time around. She resigned as Governor of Alaska, supposedly to deal with all the legal issues for all the suits and things aimed her way from Liberals. Many Conservatives thought this would give her the chance to get ready to run for President, especially as she put together a PAC. Then she had her little bus tour, for which she also quit halfway through. She said she was going to do it her way, and did not compete in any debates. Then, after being asked again and again, and missing a self imposed deadline, all while raising lots of money for her PAC off the possibility, she said “no.” Interestingly, many others are coming to the same conclusion, such as Powerline’s John Hinderaker

Maybe not. Today Sarah Palin endorsed Trump, to the delight of theNew York Times. Now they get to call Trump a conservative. I was a fan of Palin, until she succumbed to the siren song of celebrity, abandoned her post as Governor of Alaska and went Hollywood. One thing Palin and Trump have in common is that they are both stars of reality TV shows. Maybe someone needs to explain to both of them that reality television is not great preparation for dealing with reality.

Trump is going too much back to celebrity, he has way too many legal issues (real or not, it matters not). He won’t change, and it’s hurting.

I would like to endeavor to help you understand what is going on in the USA at this moment in history and explain why this was a very good victory for the right and why this is exactly all Donald Trump’s fault in a positive way.

There is a concerted effort by the MSM, Democrats, and Republicans alike to get rid of Trump. He is in the minds of the great, simply too toxic and too dangerous for another run at the White House because they are afraid he will be in a position of power to investigate 2020. Good or bad, it is in their minds something the country does not need in these times of hyper-polarization.

Even the people at Fox news are going after Trump and attempting to blame the red tinkle instead of a Tsumani against Trump.

Let’s be clear about one thing. Trump Endorsed 235 candidates this election cycle and of those 235 candidates 219 won. That is a 93 percent win rate. Sources close to the vest tell me that the GOP in PA was funneling money to J. Shapiro for Governor and away from OZ and Mastriano, both Handpicked by Trump because no one on either side wants Trump to win in PA.

The reason they do not want this is that the heart of cheating in elections lies in PA. More specifically Philadelphia, and having a Republican governor in control of PA, who was a super supporter of Trump, would be a nightmare for the powers in charge who simply do not care which party is in control.

Now for what is actually happening with the counting. The counting is specifically being slow walked in AZ, NV, Boebert’s district in CO, because she was implicated in J6, and in the Red districts in CA.

    Why?

There is a narrative that the MSM wanted to avoid on election night. If you remember in 2016 and before elections were held and reported and almost usually a winner was declared by 1-2 am the same night or technically the next morning. 2018 was the same thing when the Democrats swept the GOP out of office. It was a Blue wave and the powers that be rejoiced.

2020 came and you were warned it would take days and indeed it did. Slow walking and pitching a narrative and inciting the right into anger. Something that used to take hours now takes a week giving the MSM and all the talking heads time to browbeat the right into losing their minds and being unenthusiastic, depressed, and deflated.

What they failed to project was the reaction by Trump and the right after 2020. You know the story. States went on a frenzy of legislative processes to ensure that elections were fair and manageable and the people could trust the process.

That brings us to today and AZ, NV, and CA. Slow walking the vote to give the MSM and the powers that be time to blame Trump for not winning 50 seats in the house and 5-6 senate seats. One must remember that in 2020 the Democrats lost 15 seats in the House. This election cycle they are set to lose another 10-15 seats in the House but there is a difference this time around. Seats everyone including the Democrats know are going to go RED are being counted at a snail’s pace to eliminate the perception of victory that the GOP won in 2022.

Even in Arizona, the votes are being counted by Hobbs(D). She is running against K. Lake the GOP candidate for governor and yet she is in charge of counting votes in AZ, a state that put into place voting laws that would make things more transparent, but even with those laws in place now in most of the states, that does not mean you have to count votes fast. I am not suggesting any cheating because I have heard of nothing in AZ. I am simply saying there is no law that says how fast you have to count votes.

They are slow-walking the vote to deny any perception that 2022 was a great victory for the GOP. Several more states gave the GOP supermajorities in the state legislatures. Several of the blue AGs are now gone. Long Island NY now has 4 of 4 GOP Reps. Look at a map of NY. It is almost entirely Red now as far as house seats are concerned. A senior Dem lost in NY as well giving the appearance of a red wave. VA house 2 flipped red. The red wave was off and running and the slow walking of votes started immediately.

Florida counted more votes than AZ, NV and the Districts being held up in CA combined by Midnight and here we are 5 days later and California has declared all the blue seats winners while these red districts barely have 40 percent of the vote counted.

Cheating? NO. Remember perceptions are what you have in politics and this was meant to deceive the voters by the MSM and powers that be into believing this was a catastrophe for the GOP. It was not because flipping the House stalls Biden’s agenda.

And remember the GOP was defending 21 seats while the Dems were defending just 14 in the Senate. In 2024 it will be just the opposite.

Another important fact to remember is that with the GOP controlling the house, Biden will be forced to rule by Executive Orders which are continually struck down by the courts. You can thank Trump and McConnel because they put more conservative Judges on the bench around the country in four years than Obama, Bush and Clinton combined in their 24 years.

NC is almost entirely Red now including the Appeals court and the Supreme court after this election. The NC supreme court is 3 of 3 conservatives and the appeals court had 4 conservatives defeat incumbent Democrats to turn the Appeals court red. Remember several years back the country was bashing NC for refusing to let men use womens bathrooms and punishing the state. The Dems rejoiced and said NC will go blue because of this. No. Virginia last year flipped solidly another thing the Democrats and the MSM want you to forget.

Florida is almost entirely Red now as is Texas a state that the Democrats thought they could pick off in the coming 2024-2028 election has now turned even redder and Florida is lost to the Dems for a long time.

Do not despair Conservatives. There is a ton of positive things that came out of your election in 2022. The MSM is just trying to convince you it was a failure and it was not. The party is strong and the powers that be do not want the GOP to fight for their cause. They want them to bend the knee to use a term from Game of Thrones and defer power to those that know best.

TLDR: 2022 was a great victory for the GOP.

I am a bit shocked that Trump just can’t let others get the limelight without having to take cheap shots at them. I’ll bet he lost more than a few supporters over his childish display of jealousy. Sad.

    LOFL.

Before the Blue Blast last Tuesday, regardless of whatever vile, outrageous ejaculations came from Donald Trump, his minions continuously sang hosanna in the highest! But when suddenly, without warning, the nuGOP loses a number of elections they should have easily won, tRump lauderists like Surber, Teach, NYPost, Murdoch media, Washington Examiner, National Review, WSJ etc, etc and so forth, spits out the now mojo-less Donald like a toddler tasting kale for the first time!

It’s possible the tRump tRibe will return to normal Republicanism – worship of the wealthy at all costs, jingoism, American exceptionalism and decency, and finally distance themselves from the pseudo-populist vulgarities of tRump. DeSantis has many of the same off-putting properties of The Don, bullying, divisiveness, smugness, cruelty, pseudo-populism, but in a more palatable political package, so it’s likely tRumpists will migrate to DeSantis as long as he maintains his much of his tRump-lite demeanor.
