Butthurt Open Border Massachusetts Liberals Want Mayor Pete To Investigate The Flight To Martha’s Vineyard

If they were smart, they’d let this drop, so as to not appear totally hypocritical over DeSantis sending illegals to the high-toned and fancy to-do island of Martha’s’ Vineyard, where they were quickly shipped off. And give DeSantis another reason to send more

Massachusetts lawmakers ask Buttigieg to investigate DeSantis migrant flights

Massachusetts lawmakers are asking Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to investigate whether the migrant charter flights organized by GOP Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis broke the department’s rules by allegedly misleading those on board.

Sen. Ed Markey, in a letter to Buttigieg signed by five other members of the all-Democratic Massachusetts delegation and shared first with POLITICO, invoked a charter-broker rule issued during the Trump administration that prohibits charter operators from “misrepresenting” information like the “time of departure or arrival, points served, route to be flown, stops to be made, or total trip-time.”

Markey cites the federal class action lawsuit a civil rights firm filed on behalf of the migrants last week that accused DeSantis and Florida transportation officials of coercing migrants onto planes from Texas to Martha’s Vineyard through “false promises and misrepresentations” of where they were going and what was waiting for them on the other end of the flight.

Markey and Reps. Lori Trahan, Seth Moulton, Stephen Lynch, Jake Auchincloss and Bill Keating — who represents Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod, where the migrants were voluntarily moved to a military base — argue in their letter that Vertol Systems Company, which signed a contract with the state of Florida to relocate the migrants and then appears to have hired another company to operate the flights, “likely constituted a charter-broker subject to DOT rules in the transaction.”

Did any of these folks offer to house any of the illegals? Did any reporter ask them if they offered? Perhaps Mayor Pete can investigate Biden flying illegals in the middle of the night with no warning to small town America? Oh, wait, he doesn’t actually have the statutory authority to investigate either.

Everything turned out okay for me here in Florida. Thanks for asking.

The storm went right past me. I live about 50 miles north of Tampa in the town of Hudson. I did take precautions by putting my cruiser in dry dock and closing all my storm doors. Then I grabbed my beautiful Cuban sweetie and we went to my parents in Palm Beach. We’re still here but I plan on going back tomorrow. My house never lost electricity. I know because I’ve been watching it on my security set up. No leaks, no floods, no fallen palm trees. And since I’m in a Republican area no looting, no raping, no stealing and no killing. Ahh, the free state of Florida. Even fake climate change can’t defeat us.

    That’s good.

You may have some problems driving through the Tampa area from the south. I suggest going up the east coast and cutting back through the Orlando area.

    Good luck.

They should think twice before opening a can of worms that can be turned on them and their comrades. BTW, I’m tired of “class action” that means we taxpayers are on the hook for the transgressions of politicians and bureaucrats.

Somehow there is some obscure never before know law/rule/regulation that says illegals can’t be shipped someplace? Where did that come from? I realize we can’t ship them home fore some crazy reason or ship them to a detention camp (they’re for “insurgents”) but as long as they are in a place safe enough for our own American citizens I see no reason they can’t be moved.

They weren’t sent to prison where they should have been they were sent to Millionaires Row for shit sake!

Yeah, you’re in a foreign country with no job, no food, no place to stay and you’re gonna object to what the soldiers tell you to do…..

Just start sending the Illegals back over the border. Mark them with indelible ink. If they come back , jail them.

  6. H says:

Actually Carol Ann they aren’t “illegals” fortunately for them , only a US Immigration Court can make that decision.
They break no law by coming to the USA if they present themselves for inspection at the border and ask for asylum.
The cost to charter the 2 jets to fly from TX to FL to MV (including the time to keep them in the hotel in TX while assembling the load) came to 615000 dollars. Over 12 thousand dollars per head. MV which is Dukes County recently moved up economically from poorest county to 2nd poorest county. The 3 down (wind) island towns each have a permanent population of 3500. 1 out of 4 residents does NOT speak English at home. It already is quite diverse. And has a median income 30% lower than mainland MA. The Christian bible in several places enjoins us to treat strangers as we do citizens. Should that not be followed by Christians? Lol was FL punished by God with Ian for what was done by it’s King Desantis?

Actually Hairy it does not take a US Immigration Court to determine if an invader is illegal. Just common sense. You’re trying to talk yourself out of being stupid. Anyone entering this country without papers is an illegal entrant. No court required.

The only thing a court does is consume taxpayer money on a situation common sense can fix. It’s another of your leftist ways of making lawfare on the people of America.

All of your costs are wrong. Look them up. As an example airfare from Miami to Mass is $134 PP. Your propaganda is bullshit as usual.

Glad to see you started reading the Christian Bible but it's impossible to take your translation seriously when you haven't the brains to capitalize "Bible" showing little knowledge of or contempt for the Book. Also if we treated those strangers like citizens they would have thrown them out to live in the streets, let them live in poverty, shit , crime and drugs, and allowed them to be raped and murdered or used by the democommie party for votes. As far as I can see DeSantis did nothing but send them to one of the finest spots in America. One of those rich blue areas you're always throwing in our face. And their answer was to THROW THEM OUT like a typical hateful, hypocrite democommie. Kinda like you.

Are you inviting an illegal to live with you? Hypocrite! Didn't think so.
