Gen Zers Find Climate Crisis (scam) Is Their Top Concern Or Something

They’re totally willing to give up their use of fossil fueled travel, stop streaming so much, stop going all around to take selfies, and give up lots of their money and liberty to Government, right?

Climate change is top concern for Generation Z students

Students heading back to the classroom have more on their minds than their lessons. Generation Z’s top concern is climate change and environmental issues, according to a study by Deloitte.

So, no more fossil fueled bus rides, right? No air conditioning in class?

Chloe Thompson is a junior at The Middle College at UNCG. She lives with type one diabetes, which inspired her to become a doctor. This summer’s brutal heatwaves and other natural catastrophes reinforce her passion to pursue a career in health sciences.

“I know I personally want to go into the health science field, and so seeing how climate change is having a huge effect on people’s personal health and causing some of them to have to go to the hospitals or even people dying is really sad and hard to see,” she said.

So, she wants to blame her diabetes on ‘climate change’? When doctors do not even know what really causes it in children?

study by Deloitte found in 2021, climate change and environmental issues were the top concern for Generation Z. Unemployment and health care ranked second and third. For millennials, health care ranked first, unemployment was second and environmental concerns third. Additionally, 43% of Gen Zers surveyed said they’re afraid it’s too late to repair the damage done to the environment.

“It made me want to help with recycling and try to combat some of those things to hopefully help with our future generations so our environment is a cleaner, better place,” Thompson said.

From recycling used batteries to coordinating litter pick-ups in their neighborhoods, young people like Thompson are taking small steps in the big fight against climate change.

Yes, small steps, which are really environmental, not about climate doom. How many of these Gen Zs are willing to radically alter their lives to accord with their climate apocalypse beliefs?

Porter is an All-or-Nothinger – a propagandist who uses Alinsky style attacks rather than offer legitimate arguments.

In Porter’s “mind”, an 18 yr old who uses a cell phone has sacrificed her right to discuss global warming. It’s like saying conservative Porter can’t drive on gov’t funded roads because he thinks gov’t spends too much.

Porter then lies about what Chloe Thompson said in the article, typing: she wants to blame her diabetes on ‘climate change’?

She didn’t say or even imply that. Porter lied.

Gen Zers are defined as born between 1997 and 2012, making them 10-25 yrs old now, so many are old enough to vote.

Gen Z is the most racially and ethnically diverse generation of Americans yet. According to the Pew Research Center, non-Hispanic White Gen Zers hold a very slim majority at 52%. Hispanics make up 25% of Gen Z, while Black Gen Zers make up 14%, and 6% are Asian. The remaining 5% are a different race or two or more races.

Gen Z are more socially minded than previous generations. According to the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Gen Zers are focused on seven key social issues: healthcare, mental health, higher education, economic security, civic engagement, race equity, and the environment.

Forgot to mention that Porter’s lie attacked a HS junior for explaining why she intends a career in medicine. Stay classy…

Ruh Roh. From the UNCG Middle College Website:

Before your child can enter the 12th grade next year, he or she is required to get updated Tdap and MCV vaccines. Tdap protects against tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough. The MCV vaccine protects against meningococcal bacteria. It is state law for all rising 12th graders to have the vaccines at the start of the school year, so please take time now to schedule an appointment with your health care provider.

Unbelievable. The state of North Carolina is forcing children to get vaccines!

    • Dana says:

Of course, those vaccinations have long histories and have been through years of testing before being released for public use. That’s a little bit different from the initial COVID-19 vaccines, initially released on ’emergency’ authorizations, and now the latest, a supposedly Omicron BA.5-specific ‘booster,’ which has never been tested on humans, that President Bidan and his supervisors minions want to push on the American people, all for a disease which is no more lethal than the flu.

Funny a requirement students to be inoculated with an actual proven vaccine.
Rimjob doesn’t seem to know the difference.

“Funny-“heatwaves and other natural disasters…” Heatwaves are no worse than before and neither are natural disasters, especially when an increase in population is figured in. Stay is school and study!

  5. Well, how ’bout that? The Hirsute One, who has been telling us that the price of plug-in electric cars is coming down, must certainly be gobsmacked by the news: to celebrate the passage of the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ and its extension of the up to $7,500 tax credit for buying a plug-in electric vehicle, Ford Motor Company is raising the MSRP for the 2023 Mustang Mach E by up to $8,475! https://www.thepiratescove.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/icons/wpml_yahoo.gif

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Then The Glabrous One should not buy a Mach E, which is still less expensive than the 2022 Mach 1 V8 Mustang starting at $57,000!

The stripped down GT Fastback is comparable in price to the Mach E.

      New cars are expensive!!

But the government (the state) is forcing an invasive medical procedure on children for diseases much less prevalent than Covid!!! ZOMG. We can’t believe wingers are not apoplectic over this violation of basic human dignity and human rights!

Do you have evidence that TDAP and MCV vaccines “have been through years of testing before being released”, or do you accept the government’s dominion over your children’s bodies? The efficacy of the meningococcal vaccine is as low as 85% and results in a “decrease in meningitis and sepsis”. So it really doesn’t prevent meningitis. Do you have any idea what’s in these vaccines or do you just accept the word of the “the state”?

Does Mx Dana ever get “flu shots”?

The FDA’s decision to consider Covid boosters without human data is in line with how it evaluates modified vaccines for influenza each year. Clinical studies in humans aren’t required for the approval of seasonal influenza vaccines, even when they’re reformulated for strain changes, said Dr. Jesse Goodman of Georgetown University, a former FDA vaccine chief.

Did Mx Dana know that influenza variant vaccines are not tested in humans before distribution??

Anyway, the new BA.5 boosters has a slightly different mRNA sequence than the earlier versions in addition to the original Omicron strain. Medical scientists claim the risk is low but are not confident the new boosters will offer much of an advantage.

How many Covid vaccine shots have been administered in the United States since Dec 2020? As of Aug 24, over 610,000,000! How many MCV shots have been administered?

Mx Dana typed: is no more lethal than the flu

Over 1 million Americans died from Covid in 2 years. It takes influenza 15-20 years to kill that many Americans. Although “we all know the pandemic is over”… as of Sep 2 (yesterday) the 7-day running average of Covid deaths in the US was 835 dead Americans (and on the rise). 835 dead Americans/day x 365 days = 305,000 dead Americans over a year. When did influenza last kill 300,000 Americans in a year? 100,000 a year? The CDC (boo!) estimates 12,000 to 52,000 deaths from influenza each year. Anyway, check my math.

With decades of experience, medical scientists understand the pathology and epidemiology of influenza pretty well. Less so for Covid.

If you do not trust the Covid vaccines, by all means don’t get one. But why in the name of politics would you discourage others?
