  1. U.S. Code P. Dowd says:

Impressed by the legal acumen of the Covian con-menters we’ve been reading the U.S. Code and ran across this:

18 U.S. Code § 1924 Unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents or material

(a)Whoever, being an officer, employee, contractor, or consultant of the United States, and, by virtue of his office, employment, position, or contract, becomes possessed of documents or materials containing classified information of the United States, knowingly removes such documents or materials without authority and with the intent to retain such documents or materials at an unauthorized location shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than five years, or both.

Would this apply to an ex U.S. President who transported classified documents to his or her “home” and kept them in an unsecured location?

We understand what sticklers connunists are for laws and your disdain for prosecutorial discretion, but this seems almost as serious as women standing on a public street in front of Kavanaugh’s house.

      The Trump-hating Mr Dowd wrote:

Actually, no, because the President of the United States is the legal source of all material classification. President Trump could have simply declared the material allegedly removed as declassified, and that would be it.

Lower ranking officials with classification authority would have to go through a few steps to declassify materials, but the President does not.

The tRump-Loving Mx Dowd typed: Actually, no, because the President of the United States is the legal source of all material classification.

White knight Elon Musk is begging for investment from outsiders to reduce the amount of Tesla stock needed for his deal. The billions in Tesla stock he’s unloaded has caused Tesla stock to drop over 25%. Tesla investors must love him.

The billionaire’s advisers, led by Morgan Stanley, have begun soliciting interest from potential investors for as much as $6 billion in preferred equity financing, the people said, asking not to be named discussing a private transaction.

Musk had originally teed up a $12.5 billion margin loan as part of his $44 billion deal to buy Twitter. That was halved to $6.25 billion after he disclosed $7.1 billion in equity commitments from investors including Larry Ellison, Sequoia Capital (India, China, SE Asia), Qatar Holding and Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

Additional equity, on top of the preferred financing, would be enough to erase the margin loan, cutting the risk of the deal for both Musk and his lenders.

Wow. So the deal is more about money than Free Speech? Go figure.

You’re so used to the billionaires packing $$$$ into leftist shit doing it for power, you can’t recognize a real capitalist. None of us ever believed even for one minute he was investing $44 billion for any other reason than to make money. That’s part of the reason we were laughing so hard at you and your ilk being scared shitless he was gonna take away your monopoly on fake news and social platform censorship.

You leftists are fools. You was all a-scared. Boo-hoo.

  6. Elwood P. Dowd says:

    New Rule:

A woman can obtain an on-demand abortion at any time if the father is not identified by DNA analysis.

Once identified, the father is required to financially support the child to majority. In addition, the child is entitled to a full share of the estate on the father’s death.

    • Dana says:

The distinguished Mr Dowd did get it half right:

Once identified, the father is required to financially support the child to majority. In addition, the child is entitled to a full share of the estate on the father’s death.

That’s exactly correct: the father of the child should be required to support him, and the child should be entitled to his fair share of his father’s, and mother’s, estates. DNA testing, after birth of course, should be required if the mother is not married or no legal father otherwise accepts responsibility, to nail this down.

There will, naturally, be a few problems, with mothers who simply can’t remember, or never knew the name of, the guy who f(ornicated) her.

Hunter Biden was unavailable for comment.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

Few rapists leave a forwarding address with their victims.

But if the nation had a DNA database the sperm donors could be tracked down and forced to support their children. Why do conservatives wish to absolve fathers of all responsibilities?

Although we understand that, in theory, christians only have sexual relations inside an approved marriage, it’s come to our attention (and we’re shocked!) that some men have sex with women outside of marriage! Even some unmarried christian men have sex!! And some married christian men (e.g., DonJon tRump, shockingly!) have sex outside of marriage and could possibly impregnate a woman.

And we’re still not clear how the states are going to track women’s repro cycles to know if they are pregnant. Any suggestions? How about hormone testing on the sewer line? Expensive but relatively unobtrusive.

Capitalists are no doubt stocking up on billions of mifepristone (RU486) and misoprostol tablets to sell or give away to women in need. Of course, there exist hundreds of derivatives of mifepristone (PR antagonists) that a woman can use. RU486 blocks the continued support of the uterine lining. Also hundreds of misoprostol (Cytotec) analogues. Misoprostol is a prostaglandin that induces uterine contractions. Half of abortions are medical abortions using these or similar drugs. Good luck.

      • Hunter P. Dowd says:

So the DNA system worked for Hunter Biden! Good. Men should be forced to take responsibility.

Another commenter here completely avoided responsibility and his potential babies were aborted.

I’m as shocked as any conservative to find out that some men have sex with women they are not married to! Even good christian conservative men, chaste and strong, like DonJon tRump, tRump jr, John Ensign, Newt Gingrich and Mark Sanford have been powerless against the charms of loose women.

    • L.G.Brandon!, L.G.Brandon! says:

Dowd: “A woman can obtain an on-demand abortion at any time if the father is not identified by DNA analysis.”

So the life of a child depends on locating her sperm donor? What could be fairer, more compassionate and moral than that? Can’t find daddy? Kill the bastard!

That is leftist logic by definition.

      FJB

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

The continuation of the zygote/fetus depends on locating the father, yes, and forcing him to support the pregnancy and the child, once born, until the child is at least 18, maybe through college and even having a claim on the father’s estate.

If the father is located the state takes away the woman’s right of choice. Doesn’t that incentivize the state to find the sperm donor? Otherwise, if the woman exercises her choice to keep the developing fetus, the state will be on the hook for supporting the offspring through college!! What if they’re triplets?? Isn’t this a market-based approach for managing the irresponsible behavior of some men? Maybe men will have second thoughts about sperm spewing behaviors.

You may recall porn actress Stephanie Clifford describing having sex with a famous businessman in his hotel suite and who didn’t use a condom! It was never revealed if Ms Clifford became pregnant from the assignation.

We realize that some men feel no responsibility for dumping their sperm in girls. They expect that women should bear the entire burden. But tough. Fair is fair. And even the best birth control is hardly bulletproof.

Do you feel this is too burdensome for the men?
