Petty BS: Wash Post Totally Worried About Who’s Playing At White House For 4th

No matter the day, TDS will rear its head, as we see in this silly “news” article by Helena Andrews-Dyer and Emily Heil

The Fourth of July White House concert used to be a sea of stars. For Trump, it’s a drought.

He could barely contain himself. Jimmy Fallon, then just a few months into his new gig as host of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” stood on the South Lawn for the Obama administration’s first Independence Day celebration in 2009. The comedian was, to use the his own words, “like freaking out.”

“This is amazing. I can’t believe I’m on the White House lawn. This makes no sense,” he said in a taped interview hours before his evening performance.

“I’ll never forget this Fourth of July ever,” continued Fallon, who would perform on the same stage as A-listers such as the Foo Fighters and singer Michelle Branch. “It’s such an honor to be here. I’m so honored. This is so cool.” Okay, okay, we get it, Jimmy. Performing at the White House is like a really big deal. At least it was during the Obama years, when marquee names lined up to take the hot summer stage on the South Lawn with the Mall’s storied fireworks display going off in the background.

Big arena acts such as the Killers, Cedric the Entertainer, Brad Paisley, Pitbull, Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, Janelle Monae and more have performed at the White House’s barbecue, concert and firework viewing party, which is organized by the USO for more than a thousand military troops and their families.

That was then.

This year, taking the stage will be . . . two “American Idol” finalists. As in, not actual winners. Ever heard of Jax? Jonny Brenns? Not ringing a bell? You’re not alone. And there’s also country singer Sara Evans, whose last hit was back when “Lost” was still on the air (that was 2010, for the record, if you can remember that far back).

This is news in the Trump era, folks. Smearing, condescending thinly veiled opinion pieces slurring other Americans who are going to perform. It shows how out of touch the Credentialed Media is when it comes to celebs and middle America.

Classical pianist Lola Astanova, who will also be performing at the Independence Day concert, echoed Jax’s sentiments. “This day goes beyond one president,” Astanova told Women’s Wear Daily. “It’s a way to pay tribute to our troops. That’s really what this concert is about. Presidents come and go, but the Fourth of July and the celebration of our country is really what this event is about,” she continued. “It’s an honor to perform the national anthem at the White House on Independence Day. As a first-generation American, it’s quite meaningful.”

Yeah, maybe some prefer not to have unhinged Democrats threaten them.

Of course, the addition of any performers at 1600 Penn is a step up from last year’s Independence Day event, which had no formal concert schedule. In 2017, the Trumps celebrated America’s birthday with an afternoon picnic for armed service members and their families, and White House staffers and their families later watched the fireworks display.

Perhaps Trump cares more about other things than being a celebrity hobnobbing POTUS. Perhaps he isn’t in to all the pomp and circumstance. Perhaps he realizes that it’s not about him.

So, yeah, you keep doing you, lefties. And this is another reason Trump won.

tRump “won” because his campaign, along with the Russians, persuaded some 70,000 white Americans in the upper Midwest to vote for him. tRump has created a new White Nationalist Party (WNP) and destroyed traditional American conservatism.

We get it. White nationalists hate the current American culture and the non-rightists who view white nationalists as racist, uneducated, wife beating, unsophisticated morons. tRump “gives it” to the American elitists who look down their noses at people like you.

tRump is surely wrecking the US economy and is galvanizing the world against us. But he sure “gives it” to those Mexicans and kneeling Negroes.

    • formwiz says:

You mean the Mexicans and kneeling Negroes enjoying record low eunmployment?

Funny how that White Nationalist Party has benefited them. But Jeffery is like his Mocha Messiah and doesn’t want to be associated with sell-outs, so he calls them Negroes (which is a perfectly acceptable word) and claims they are kneeling, unlike him, standing tall in Mommy’s basement.

      • Jeffery says:

Thank Allah that tRump hasn’t derailed the continued rapid drop in minority (and overall) unemployment since the Great Recession! This large drop occurred during President Obama’s terms.

The unemployment rates for Whites, Blacks and for Hispanics were halved from the Great Recession to The Don’s YUUGE inauguration. Will these rates be further halved during tRump’s short reign? LOL.

Donnie has a history of snatching credit for others’ accomplishments. There is no reason that you have to promote these claims when readily available facts contradict them.

Still waiting for that evidence of Russian collusion…Good luck

  3. Jeffery says:

The Senate Intelligence Committee confirmed that Russia helped tRump win the election.

Mr. Mueller’s investigation will confirm the contacts between the tRump campaign and Russian agents. The noose is tightening around tRump’s neck.

We should be concerned about our future elections. Why was it so advantageous to Putin and Russia to have tRump elected?

    • formwiz says:

No, all they did was release an Executive Summary signoff by Warner and Burr, a couple of Whigs and Gang of Eighters.

Like the IG report the full document will tell a different story.

Why was it so advantageous to Putin and Russia to have tRump elected?

First, you didn’t think it was so terrible when IdiotBoy told Medvedev he’d have more flexibility.

Second, maybe it was because he knew from dealing with the Beast, she was incompetent enough that she might start a war without even trying.

Notice The Donald has yet to do that.

      • Jeffery says:

Why do you think it was advantageous to Putin and Russia to have trump elected?

      • david7134 says:

Don’t engage the idiot. All he is trying to do is make everyone as miserable as him. Besides, thanks to the man letting us know who he is, we now know he is just a pill counter. The guy only had remedial classes in college and pharmacology. As an example, doctors are taught all the pharmacology they need in one semester, it takes a couple of years for pill counters.

        • Jeffery says:

          Hi dave!

You should look up the difference between pharmacy and pharmacology before you further embarrass yourself.

          • david7134 says:

I actually looked up the difference to make sure nothing has changed in 50 years. Guess what? You need to look up the topic as pharmacist are defined as pharmacology majors. Once again, you lie and obfuscate. Most pharmacology majors in my day has flunked out of premed. I bet you are one of that group.

          • Jeffery says:

            Hi dave!

Pharmacology is the study of drug actions, where a drug can be broadly defined as any man-made, natural, or endogenous molecule which exerts a biochemical or physiological effect on cells, tissues, or organs. Pharmacology encompasses all aspects of biological drug disposition, including absorption, distribution, excretion, efficacy and toxicology.

Pharmacy is the science and technique of preparing and dispensing drugs.

Medicine is learning to use the PDR and Merck Manual in a way to avoid lawsuits.

Did you know in the US alone physicians kill over 200,000 of their patients each year? We’re sure you’ve done your part.

We get it, dave. You can’t or won’t argue on merit so you lie, insult, denigrate and shout, “Is not!”.

Do you have an opinion on why Russia loves tRump?

  4. david7134 says:

In one comment you proved my point as to your dismal academic credentials . Coming up with some grand conspiracy with Russians is the height of stupidity. If I’m some ludicrous manner, the Russians did influence the election, though no one has said how, then we owe a debt of gratitude to our former enemies in their role to keep the low intelligent voter from giving leadership to our country from which we would have certain global war, continue with the terrible economic policies of Obama and the continued selling of our country by the Clintons. You really are not mentally adequate to exchange meaningful comments.

    • Jeffery says:

      Hi dave,

You really are not mentally adequate to exchange meaningful comments.

Is that why you never make meaningful comments?

Is that why you never make meaningful comments?

    So who’s a hypocrite, little Jeffery L.
    Keene of St. Louis?

  6. Jeffery says:

Do I seem intimidated? Is that your objective? Should the target of your attacks feel threatened?

    • drowningpuppies says:

      Well, you did ask.
      Are you afraid of something?
Can’t help it if you choose to reveal your own identity online.
      Why would you do that?

      • Jeffery says:

Actually you and the Pirates Cove posted an address of your target, correct?

        • drowningpuppies says:

          What address would that be?
You posted your name, Jeffery Keene, several times here in the comments section.
          Who made you do that?
No one forces you to make rude and obnoxious comments to the posters here.
          Are you afraid of something?

          • Jeffery says:

You should know. You posted the address. And a phone number.

Do you ever post rude and obnoxious comments here?

Did you post personal information in response to what you interpreted as someone making rude and obnoxious comments to punish your target?

Have you and TEACH posted more than one address and telephone number recently?

      • Jeffery says:

Why would I be afraid? I didn’t do anything wrong.

        • drowningpuppies says:

          Jeffery Keene’s comments are interesting.

Ha ha. So you never did?

I volunteered (signed up) during the Vietnam War. Remember that?

Go crawl back under your rock you decroded piece of crap.

          • Jeffery says:

Is that why you posted personal information?

            Keep digging, LOL.

          • drowningpuppies says:

If one was so inclined he might even go back and find all the posts where Jeffery Keene outrageously threatened the President.
But this little thread has become boring.
Get over your little self, Jeffery Keene, you’re not really that important.

          • Jeffery says:

We have all we need, thanks.

        • Jeffery says:

Do you think your accusations of others molesting children have disappeared? LOL

          Thank you. Keep digging, LOL
