Man With Gargantuan Carbon Footprint Says Climate Change Is Personal To Him

For health reasons or something

(ABC News) President Obama says that climate change became a personal issue for him when his older daughter Malia, now 16, was rushed to the emergency room with an asthma attack when she was just a toddler.

“Well you know Malia had asthma when she was 4 and because we had good health insurance, we were able to knock it out early….” the president told ABC News’ chief health and medical editor, Dr. Richard Besser, in a one-on-one interview yesterday. “And if we can make sure that our responses to the environment are reducing those incidents, that’s something that I think every parent would wish for…”

Besser, who met with the president yesterday at Howard University’s Health Sciences Simulation Lab, asked the president why people should care about the impact of climate change on public health when there are so many other pressing health problems.

“Keep in mind that climate change is just one more example of how the environment will cause health problems, and I think most people understand that,” the president responded.

For a man who supposedly cares so much, he sure has a big carbon footprint, wouldn’t you say? What measures is he taking within his own life, both professional and personal, to reduce his won carbon footprint?

Yes Teach it is true Obama has a large carbon footprint
However it pales in comparison to what his efforts have done to reduce the carbon footprint of the country that he leads.
That is a more appropriate comparison
Your comparison is the same as if you criticized him for not going to the front to lead troops in battle when he is Commander in Chief

  2. Nighthawk says:

yeah. His daughter having an asthma attack could not possibly have been caused by him smoking now could it?

    Newports cause global warming.

the child abuser in chief has the largest carbon footprint of any human being yet lectures us …. only an idiot or another abuser would agree with or accept such idiocy

    Desserttrash,

How dare you trivialize child abuse. Sick and pathetic.
