Cult Of Climastrology Gets Steven Goddard Suspended On Twitter

Anyone surprised? Warmists, like the rest of their fascistic Progressive brethren, like to shut down those they disagree with.

Steven has more on this at his site. And the Daily Caller has chimed in

Ironically, Goddard said the last tweet he sent out before having his account suspended was “After taking power, progressives changed their motto from ‘always question authority’ to ‘it is illegal to question authority.’”

Twitter is a private company and they can do as they wish. Of course, trying to get an Islamic jihadi kicked off is very, very hard. But not a Skeptic. Liberals can’t take debate.

Conservatives just can’t stop playing the victim card

Everyone do the universe a favor and boycott twitter.

Did you hear that Google is ranking searches on their factual basis?

  3. Casey says:

That’s pretty damn dumb, even for you, John. A dissenter gets silenced for his point of view, and you play word games.

I thought liberal/progressives were all about freedom of speech.

  4. jl says:

Earth to John. It’s Twitter that’s playing the victim card. Their delicate little sensibilities are upset that they may have read an opposing point of view.

Just was at his site and he says the modern day brown-shirts have un-suspended his Twitter account.

  6. Jeffery says:

“Nazis” and “brownshirts” and “censors”, oh my!

twitter blocking an account for a few hours is no worse than RW websites blocking commenters.

Goddard should admit to what got him suspended.

Goddard posted his last tweet and has shown that there is nothing that is offensive or violates the TOS of Twitter.

twitter blocking an account for a few hours is no worse than RW websites blocking commenters.

Actually it is if the person has met the TOS of the site. You get banned because you don’t follow the rules of a site and then claim “I’m a victim!”

You can’t even live up the agreements you make with sites and yet you feel competent to comment on how a sites banning you for your own actions.

Oh, and by the way, try going over to the Daily Kos and mention anything that is inline with conservative values. You;ll get banned even though it is not against their TOS to be a conservative or post conservative ideas.

Liberals cannot stand any ideas that are contrary to theirs.

Interesting. Can you name which RW sites have banned you? Personally, I’ve only blocked 2-3 in almost 11 years, and that was due to nastiness for which the person was heavily warned.

GC makes a good point. Progressive places are notoriously thin skinned. Grist blocked me because they do not like to be exposed to contrary viewpoints. I may get nasty here, but I do not at other sites. The UK Guardian briefly blocked me. Shakesville blocked me. Several Warmists have blocked me on Twitter. Heck, I got blocked by Michael Mann, and I had never even tweeted him. The DU doesn’t even want Conservatives in the least. I one replied to a DUer who was in dire need of advice, for which I had a truly informed answer (had to do with wireless and resolving a very serious issue). That comment, the only one which had a true answer, was deleted. Progressives are notoriously thin skinned.

I was blocked by Phil Plait of Bad Astronomy for simply posting scientific data that did not support a global warming rant that he posted.

Phil is strange. He comes across as a good guy that promotes ethical science, occasionally debunking bad science reported in the media. But when it comes to AGW he throws out the ethics and turns to logical fallacies and ad hominems, tossing in “everyone knows”, “the consensus is…”, “the AGW experts agree”, and “denier”, “denier”, “idiots”, etc.
