That’s a picture from China. That used to be a bamboo forest full of panda bears, but China has been burning so much coal that the CO2 emissions have killed everything.
Anyway, the Chinese girl won Miss World because, you know, the contest was in China. And people can vote on Facebook.
The sad thing is, the CoC worries about the effects of burning coal in regards to “climate change”, rather than the actual air pollution.
Yeah that’s a great point. Dealing with burning coal as an environmental pollutant deserves plenty of attention and management. Focusing the efforts on the miniscule effects of CO2 instead of the serious effects of sulfur and particulates is upside-down.
