Latest Media Drama: Bachmann’s Aides Shoved Them!

Big news over at Memeorandum, with CNN’s Don Lemon all upset

Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann was at the center of an unusual campaign moment on Friday that involved reporters trying to ask her questions – and the Republican presidential candidate essentially being cocooned by a ring of protectors.

Because that has never happened before in the history of politics as a politician tries to move through a crowd to get to where he or she is going.

And the next part is a video of Don Lemon supposedly be shoved out of the way, followed by two videos, neither of which provides any proof to Lemon’s assertion

At issue: a scene that unfolded after the Republican presidential candidate briefly spoke at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines.

After talking for about three minutes, Bachmann waded into the crowd filled with adoring supporters.

Moments later, as she tried to exit the area back to a waiting drive cart, Bachmann found herself in the middle of a mob of people: among them many supporters and members of the press including this reporter and CNN anchor Don Lemon.

As both CNN staffers tried to question Bachmann, Lemon said he was pushed by two members of Bachmann’s staff. Lemon also said that Marcus Bachmann, the congresswoman’s husband, pushed him.

“She came out, after speaking for just a couple minutes,” Lemon said. “There were other reporters and cameras there. And I asked her very respectful questions: ‘How do you think you did in the debate last night?’ and ‘How do you think you’re going to end up in the Ames Straw Poll?’ And her two campaign aides started elbowing me.”

Perhaps you were, you know, in the way, and she was trying to get somewhere?

Maybe we should ask R.S. McCain, who was apparently right there in the mix (guy on the left in the fedora. Sorry, can’t get a clearer screenshot)

The Alinsky games never stop. The PROGRESSIVE MSM must tear down each of these candidates one at a time.

They have been attacking Perry the instant the rumor mill started that he would run.

I notice Sarah Palin came to her senses and decided to not run for the job. Although she should simply to take the heat off all the other candidates.

  2. It’s always amazing that they call themselves progressives, looking forward, yet, all they can do is attack, rarely offer anything themselves. Of course, people would not follow them if they actually put forward their real ideas.

I would have liked Palin to run, but, she needed to do it months ago. Her tweaking of media noses has now become annoying as she plays the run/not run game.

  3. Word says:

Yeah I think Sarah Palin has tasted those million dollar checks and has decided that she can enable the GOP much better from the protection of being a part of the MSM which she is granted via working for FOX news.

As someone who fires up the left I like Sarah but when she quit as governor of Alaska, she lost my vote.

  4. david7134 says:

Why would you want to be president when you can tell the president what to do?

  5. When she quit, I understood her reasoning. But, instead of pushing to run for president, she did all the pundit stuff, which negated the reasoning. She should have finished her term.

And make lots and lots of money, David. It will be interesting to see how much sways she’ll have over whoever wins.
