Breaking: Court Will Allow Drilling While Case Is Heard

Just coming across the newswires, no one has the full details yet, but, looks like a court has told Obama to go pound sand, and that deepwater drilling will be allowed to continue until the full case is heard.

Just a little earlier in the day, at 6:25pm, Reuters stated that the court was divided. Guess not.

Here we go

A U.S. appeals court on Thursday rejected the Obama administration’s request to put on hold a ruling that lifted a temporary moratorium on deepwater drilling in the wake of the BP Plc oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The ruling is a setback for the White House which had sought to suspend deepwater drilling of new wells for six months while it investigated the cause of the April 20 explosion aboard the Transocean Ltd. rig and adopt new stricter safety regulations.

Los Federales say the will appeal and try some new rules. Hope you folks who depend on the drilling business like unemployment

Already some oil services companies have said they would not begin new drilling operations in the region until the legal matters were resolved, and some were moving rigs and workers overseas for projects.

democrats have Never had a problem with sending jobs overseas- unless it served their purpose to ‘believe’ so.

john F-ing kerry comes to mind. How many of the Heinz factories are in the US?

    • Hey, now, come on, all those factories are owned by his family.

Remember when he gave that answer in response to owning a foreign car?

  2. Otter says:
