Heartache! Kanye And Michael Moore To Boycot Arizona

I bet quite a few folks in Arizona are breathing easier after this news

Zack de la Rocha has issued a statement on behalf of an organization called the Sound Strike urging music fans
and fellow artists to boycott Arizona “to stop SB 1070,” which he labels an “odious” law.

Who? Oh, the guy who turned veggie because he could actually feel the animal going through the pain. Oh, and supports the cop killers Mumia and Leonard Peltier.

Among those artists joining de la Rocha’s boycott are Conor Oberst, Kanye West, Rage Against the Machine, Rise Against, Cypress Hill, Serj Tankian, Joe Satriani, Sonic Youth, Tenacious D, Street Sweeper Social Club and Michael Moore.

Lunch buffett’s around the state can breath a sigh of release. “No! You no welcome. You stay here for 5 hour and eat.” (sorry, that was some comedy routine I heard on AOL radio the other day by some large comedian)

In de la Rocha’s words, the new law “sanctions racial profiling, straight up,” forcing “cops to hunt down and target anyone they ‘reasonably suspect’ that may be undocumented. And if the people they harass don’t have proof that they were born in the U.S., they can be detained and arrested.”

Yo, like read the bill, straight up, dog. He even says that the law could return us to a pre-civil rights era. No, no scaremongering there!

The Sound Strike’s call to boycott follows recent protest cancellations by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull and Latino rappers Cypress Hill. A Phoenix New Times blog says this latest development feels like it’s “only the tip of the iceberg,” while AEG Live president/CEO Randy Phillips told Billboard he believes “the economic impact on the state from losing even a couple of tours might be enough for the legislature and the governor to realize that there is still a political concept called the tyranny of the majority which is just as dangerous to our democracy as illegal immigration, maybe more so.”

Right! Because losing a few unhinged musical acts is so much more important than stopping the flow of illegals who also bring drug smuggling and massive, and deadly, crime.

Meanwhile, it seems as if Ruben Navarrette, Jr. has spent way too much time in the Sun and melted his brain. Arizona might soon get nuclear warheads, you know. Though, his last few paragraphs do come back from Moonbat Island into Good Idea Land.

Swell, now we can go there and not have to worry about running into these pinheads!

    “Jack of the Rock”, huh?

I get the feeling it’s all about his head.

  3. […] May William Teach reports that noted Marxist Moron Michael Moore and noted douchebag Kanye West are boycotting […]

    HELL NO.
Give the soldiers guns. hell, give them rocket launcher and send them out to “practice”. All those boom-booms will scare the illegals away.

1200 for the AZ border alone? yeah, that’ll cover it. And, I wonder how those soldiers really feel about being on the drug war border WITHOUT guns for protection. Even the border guards, which are federal, have guns.

Granted, they can’t shoot back. UGH, our country is toast.

Mumia Abu Jamal is clearly guilty in the slaying of Officer Faulkner. Unfortunately, the fact that he is articulate and was affiliated with the MOVE group of John Africa endured him to a fairly sizable number of locals that inexplicably defended the right of this group to terrorize their neighborhood. I cannot imagine why larger anti-capital punishment groups (whose cause I support) chose this cop killer to represent the “movement” while innocent men sit on death row. It’s sickening.

Leonard Peltier did not kill a cop. Anyone with even casual knowledge of the case can see that there should have been a retrial. Strange that you’d bring him into this while you people weep for Koresh. If only you had a more informed understanding, your positions might not contradict themselves all of the time.
