I was really looking forward to seeing Hellboy II, thought the first one was great. Couldn’t play golf this afternoon because of the coming storms, so, went to the theatre.
Started out great. Then, unfortunately, got rather sappy. Wait for it on DVD.

I love how Hellboy doesn’t take himself too seriously, it’s refreshing that he fumbles about like an average guy
It had some great action, so cool special effects, but, some of the sappy lovey dovey stuff was ill making. I’m not going to give anything away, but, there was one sappy scene that made me feel like throwing my popcorn at the screen.
It looks to be set up for a 3rd movie, though.
