TTLF: CNN Now Loves Huckabee

As of the time this is posted, CNN, the "world leader in news," mentions the GOP debate on the front page only in terms of "Ticker: GOP candidate on Iraq: "We broke it." That would be it. Nothing else. Gee, no bias there. And the story leads only to that confrontation between Paul and Huckabee, which, while good, was only a small part of the debate. Let’s see

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee made a dramatic statement regarding Iraq at Wednesday night’s GOP presidential debate, declaring, "We bought it because we broke it."

The comment came in perhaps the most compelling moment of the Republican debate so far, when the Arkansas Republican directly confronted Texas Rep. Ron Paul on his position for an immediate withdrawal from the country.

"Congressman, whether or not we should have gone to Iraq is a discussion for historians, but we’re there. We bought it because we broke it," he said. "We’ve got a responsibility to the honor of this country and the honor of every man and woman who has served in Iraq and our military to not leave them with anything less than the honor they deserve."

Amid loud cheers, Paul responded, "The American people didn’t go in. A few people advising this administration, a small number of people called the neoconservatives, hijacked our foreign policy. They are responsible, not the American people."

Matter of fact, CNN doesn’t even have a full story on the debates on their Politics page. Hell, even MSNBC and The NY Times have somewhat decent articles on the debate. The Washington Post has a tiny story on the debates. Pretty sad.

I’m sure more Lefties are thrilled that Mike said that. But, hey, we also broke Japan and Germany, didn’t we? Of course, CNN surely loved that Ron "Paultard" Paul was involved in the back and forth. They probably wish he would switch to Democrat, except for that low taxes stance of his. On the bright side, Paul continues to show what a defeatist wacko he is. Too bad they did not ask him about 9/11. That would have exposes his insane "9/11 was an inside job" nuttery.

The only one who made a serious mistake last night was Mike Huckabee. Huckabee claimed “WE made a mistake” that “we” were “responsible” for “breaking Iraq”. Blaming the American people for the problems in Iraq is not going to go down well with the American people. Especially those who opposed the war in the first place. Ive never been angrier before in my whole life. Im not responsible for this clusterfuck in Iraq.
