Q. Before I let you go, I’d like to ask you about the Scooter Libby case and the fact the president commuted his sentence. What was your reaction to that?
GORE: Well, I thought it was very disappointing.
Q: Because?
GORE: Well, I thought it was improper. He is charged with having knowledge that could incriminate his bosses in the White House which included the vice president and the president. I thought it was very disappointing.
Q. And how is it different than when President Clinton pardoned, in some controversial cases…
GORE: Well it’s different because in this case the person involved is charged with activities that involve knowledge of what his superiors in the White House did.
Gee, Al, can you prove that? Special Council Fitzpatrick had years to prove it, and he couldn’t. And, Al? Pull your head out of your ass. Libby was charged with lying and obstruction of justice, same as your former boss. Liberals really do live in another world.
Now that Libby is out in the private sector, he should consider suing the bejesus out of Gore for those comments, as well as others who make similar ones, for defemation.

Amen, The Al Bore makes me sick. So sick, partially hiatused me did a post about him. It’d be great if Scooter sued, but, you know, politicians are essentially all the same when it comes right down to it; quite sad.
True. They see stuff like this as part of the business of politics. Then they complain about politics being nasty. A huge lawsuit might bring it back to sort of civil, as well as reality land.
