Those criminals returned to the U.S thanks to the Trump admin talking with Mexico?
Man charged in Wake County deputy’s death extradited from Mexico to US, deputies say
The man accused of killing a Wake County deputy was extradited to the United States after over a year in custody in Mexico, deputies said Thursday.
Alder Alfonso Marin-Sotelo is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Deputy Ned Byrd, who was fatally shot in August 2022.
In late April 2023, Marin-Sotelo escaped custody from the Piedmont Regional Jail in Virginia. He was captured a few days later in Mexico, where he remained until his extradition.
“Deputy Byrd was one of our own, and we have never stopped working to ensure justice is served,” Sheriff Willie Rowe said in a statement. “This extradition is a testament to the determination and collaboration of law enforcement agencies at the state, local, and federal levels. We are grateful for their efforts and remain committed to seeing this case through.”
Something is missing from the article
(WRAL) Alder Marin-Sotelo is now one of 29 defendants being extradited from Mexico to the U.S. on various drug, gun and murder charges. Prosecutors announced in September 2023 that they won’t seek the death penalty against the two brothers.
They forgot to mention something
(ABC11) Wake County District Attorney Lorrin Freeman said, “The return of Mr. Marin-Sotelo to the United States now allows us to move forward with this case and set a trial date. We are grateful for the cross-agency collaboration that brought him back to face these charges. We know this is a case of significant importance to our community, and our thoughts remain with Deputy Byrd’s family and friends.”
Important information also missing. Here’s a CBS17 article from August, 2024
After his indictment, Marin-Sotelo was held at the Piedmont Regional Jail in Virginia on an unrelated federal charge of possession of a firearm by an illegal alien. Jail staff said Marin-Sotelo “manipulated the locking mechanism on the rear exit door” of the jail in order to escape on April 30, 2023. Federal prosecutors say Marin-Sotelo’s sister arranged for a getaway car to be dropped of near the jail.
The murder suspect was on the run for several days before being captured in Mexico. The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia charged Marin-Sotelo with escape from custody.
That’s right, another illegal. Anyhow, Virginia dropped the charges for escaping the jail, leaving NC with the primary charging authority.
All three of those news outlets are local Raleigh/Wake County. A fourth, the Raleigh News And Observer, has not even bothered to mention that Marin-Sotelo is being extradited back to stand trial for killing a Wake County Deputy.

Too bad they couldn’t force everyone in the state government of the People’s Republik Of California, particularly Gavin Newsom and the unelected, unaccountable Air Resource Board, drive an EV, while leaving the Comrades to make their own decision
Report: Trump, GOP to Use Congressional Review Act to Revoke Newsom’s Gas Car Ban
President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans plan to use a once-obscure law called the Congressional Review Act to revoke the waiver that President Joe Biden gave to California for Gov. Gavin Newsom’s gas car ban.
As Breitbart News reported, Newsom announced in September 2020 — mere weeks after a massive statewide shortage of electricity — that California would ban sales of gas-powered passenger vehicles by 2035. After that, electric vehicles (EVs) would be mandated, as part of California’s effort to achieve goals on “climate change” policy.
Newsom’s policy was finalized in regulatory form in 2022, and Biden granted the waiver in December 2024. As CalMatters.org reported: “The granting of the waiver by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency allows California to move forward in requiring 35% of new 2026 model cars sold in the state to be zero-emissions, 68% in 2030 and 100% in 2035. Nearly all zero-emission cars are powered by electricity.”
Where does the electricity come from? How will there be enough vehicles, because producing that many batteries will be darned impossible. Unless you’re interested in raping the 3rd world for precious metals. And allowing mining in the U.S. But, you know, the doomsday cult always likes to force everyone to comply. Even though they themselves almost never practice what they preach.
Democrats, according to the New York Times, will argue that the Act does not apply: “[T]he California ban is not a federal regulation, it’s a different animal. It’s the result of a waiver that was granted by the Biden administration under the 1970 Clean Air Act, something that has been done more than a hundred times over the years by administrations of both parties. And it is not subject to congressional review, according to a 2023 decision by the Government Accountability Office.”
Except, they received the waiver from the Biden admin, and, what California does leads to other states doing the same.
Of course, on the other hand, if a state wants to do this, I almost think they should be allowed to do this. 10th Amendment. But, hold on, this is Interstate Commerce, with vehicles coming from outside California. So, should the federal government have primacy? Interesting question.

It’s almost like telling people that if they come illegally they will not be given shelter, food, clothes, phones, money, and healthcare at the expense of taxpayers works to dissincentivezes illegal migration
Migrant arrests at US-Mexico border near record low in February
The number of migrants caught illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in February is on pace to be at or near a record monthly low, a U.S. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson and two other sources told Reuters.
U.S. Border Patrol is on pace to have arrested around 8,500 migrants at the border in February as the end of the month nears, DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin said. Two other sources said the monthly total would be at or near a record low.
President Donald Trump, a Republican, took an array of actions to deter illegal immigration after returning to the White House on January 20, saying a crackdown was needed after high levels of migration under his predecessor, former President Joe Biden.
Trump’s moves included implementing a sweeping ban on asylum at the border and surging military troops to assist border security.
U.S. Border Patrol’s monthly enforcement statistics go back to 2000. The lowest monthly total on record is currently April 2017, when the agency arrested 11,127 at the start of Trump’s first term.
So, what Trump and his folks are doing is working
The February projection would be a steep drop from the 141,000 migrant arrests in February 2024 and down from 29,000 in January, according to U.S. government figures.
That’s a pretty steep drop
Steep drop from the Biden years.
Meanwhile
(Fox News) Rep. Morgan Luttrell, R-Texas, is introducing legislation that will require the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to report any crimes committed by individuals who were admitted into the U.S. under a controversial Biden-era immigration policy.
“If we’re serious about securing our country, we need to know exactly what we’re up against,” Luttrell told Fox News Digital.
The bill, dubbed the Criminal Illegal Alien Report act, will require DHS to provide Congress with a report on crimes committed by anyone who was admitted into the U.S. under the Process for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (CHNV) program.
You can bet that report will be published in bold letters.
I was specifically told multiple times, including by the Associated Press, that the AMOC would be shutting down soon and we were all Doomed. No?
Computer simulations show nightmare Atlantic current shutdown less likely this century
The nightmare scenario of Atlantic Ocean currents collapsing, with weather running amok and putting Europe in a deep freeze, looks unlikely this century, a new study concludes.
In recent years, studies have raised the alarm about the slowing and potential abrupt shutdown of the Atlantic end of the ocean conveyor belt system. It transports rising warm water north and sinking cool water south and is a key factor in global weather systems. A possible climate change -triggered shutdown of what’s called the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation or AMOC could play havoc with global rain patterns, dramatically cool Europe while warming the rest of the world and goose sea levels on America’s East Coast, scientists predict.
It’s the scenario behind the 2004 fictionalized disaster movie “The Day After Tomorrow,” which portrays a world where climate change sparks massive storms, flooding and an ice age.
Yeah, the doomy movie which significantly over-estimated the time scale and effect of a big change to the AMOC. Because it’s an f’ing disaster movie. What you’d probably get is more like the Little Ice Age. Research has show that a big AMOC change was partially responsible. Because this happens, particularly when you put large amounts of cold, fresh water into the system during a warm period.
Scientists at the United Kingdom’s Met Office and the University of Exeter used simulations from 34 different computer models of extreme climate change scenarios to see if the AMOC would collapse this century, according to a study in Wednesday’s journal Nature. No simulation showed a total shutdown before 2100, said lead author Jonathan Baker, an oceanographer at the Met Office.
It could happen later, though, he said. The currents have collapsed in the distant past.
Still, the computer simulations should be “reassuring” to people, Baker said.
“But this is no greenlight for complacency,” Baker warned. “The AMOC is very likely to weaken this century and that brings its own major climate impacts.”
I trust these people saying this as much as I trust them saying this will happen by 2050. They’re climate cultists, their computer models are shite, and they should be tar, feathered, and driven from town. Anyhow, why is something that is probably not going to happen anytime soon news? Because the next talking point is that if we Do Something now it will forestall the AMOC nightmare. This includes taxing you more and the government controlling your life.

Seriously, why do we not know who most of them are already, since a goodly chunk were let across the border by the Biden regime
Trump administration creates registry for immigrants who are in the US illegally
The Trump administration is creating a registry for all people who are in the United States illegally, and those who don’t self-report could face fines or prosecution, immigration officials announced Tuesday.
Everyone who is in the U.S. illegally must register, give fingerprints and provide an address, the Department of Homeland Security said in a statement. It cited a section of the Immigration and Nationality Act — the complex immigration law — as justification for the registration process, which would apply to anyone 14 and older.
The announcement comes as the administration seeks to make good on campaign promises to carry out mass deportations of people in the country illegally and seal the border to future asylum-seekers.
“An alien’s failure to register is a crime that could result in a fine, imprisonment, or both,” the statement said. “For decades, this law has been ignored — not anymore.”
On its website, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service said it would soon create a form and process for registration.
Either way, they will eventually be caught up. Well, hopefully. Four years is a long time to get the illegals. And it could be longer if a Republican wins in 2028. It’s a crime to be in the US illegally to start with, with a civil penalty of a small fine, possible jail time, and deportation for a first offense.
The National Immigration Law Center, an immigration advocacy group, said in a posting on its website before the Tuesday night announcement that “the Alien Registration Act of 1940 is the only time the U.S. government carried out a comprehensive campaign to require all noncitizens to register.”
The organization said under that process, people had to go to their local post office to register, and the goal was to identify “potential national security threats broadly characterized as communist or subversive.”
The group warned that the registry was meant to help find potential targets for deportation.
Well, yeah. Don’t forget, roughly 45% are visa overstays, who are easier to find. And then all the companies that hired them should be investigated to see if they knowingly hired people unlawfully present in the U.S. and prosecute them.
(ABC News) That requirement is stoking fears that this would be a new “show me your papers” type of law, said Michelle Lapointe, legal director for the American Immigration Council.
“There are some real civil liberties issues here,” Lapointe told ABC News. “It will end up ensnaring people based on law enforcement’s perceptions of their race and assumptions that law enforcement makes about people’s immigration status based on that.”
These people. Same old stupid talking point, which most are no longer affected by. No one cares. We’re done with this race-baiting. The law authorizes this, and these people are in the U.S. against federal law. And, we certainly aren’t listening to the race-baiting from an uber-white liberal woman white-knighting for illegal aliens.
Here is the interview Coachella city councilwoman Yadira Perez gave to local media regarding her husband's arrest. When the reporter asked her if her husband had a criminal history, she said "My husband wasn't perfect, whatever he did he paid for it."https://t.co/Np6EUpk6g4
— Bill Melugin (@BillMelugin_) February 26, 2025
Her husband is a previously deported Mexican illegal alien with a lengthy rap sheet of several felony convictions, including possession of a controlled substance (meth) for sale, inflicting corporal injury to a spouse, DUI, and assault with a deadly weapon, according to ICE.
Isidro Jimenez-Ibanez is also now looking at prosecution for felony re-entry, as federal authorities are now charging him with violation of 8 USC 1326, illegal alien found in the US after deportation, which was the reason for his FBI/ICE arrest in the Coachella parking lot. The FBI had a criminal warrant signed by a federal magistrate when they arrested him.
Huh. She should be arrested for harboring and sheltering an illegal alien, especially when he committed a felony by re-entering the U.S.

EPA pushes White House to ignore scientific finding that helped form current climate policy
The Environmental Protection Agency is reportedly calling on the Trump administration to strike down a landmark climate finding that cleared the way for regulating planet-warming and polluting greenhouse gas emissions.
A report from The Washington Post cited three people briefed on the matter, who said former Trump staff members had been advising the administration on repealing the finding.
“President Trump’s day one Executive Order, ‘Unleashing American Energy,’ gave the EPA Administrator a 30-day deadline to submit joint recommendations to the Director of [Office of Emergency Management], in collaboration with the heads of any other relevant agencies, on the legality and continuing applicability of the 2009 Endangerment Finding,” a spokesperson for the agency told The Independent in an emailed statement on Wednesday.
“EPA is in compliance with this aspect of the President’s Executive Order,” they said. The order had asked the EPA to review the “legality and continuing applicability” of the finding, giving them 30 days to do so.
The endangerment finding under the Clean Air Act was signed by then-administrator Lisa Jackson, who was nominated by Barack Obama ahead of his first term in 2009.
Give it the public comments period, then strike it down. They can use as proof that it is pure bullshit Obama’s own massive use of fossil fuels and purchasing a house on Martha’s Vineyard, close to the ocean which will SOON! doom the island.
Repealing the finding would undercut the agency’s authority to regulate greenhouse gases, according to Ben Cahill, the director for Energy Markets and Policy at the Center for Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis at the University of Texas at Austin.
CO2 and methane are mostly naturally occurring GHGs, with a smaller output from mankind. Can they also regulate water vapor, the number 1 GHG? And why is it that the majority of the EPAs policies from this revolve around restricting American citizens?

Stop, you don’t have to give me reasons to support Trump
Trump admin fires early-career federal workers. It could alter the future of government.
Federal agencies have slashed many early career recruiting and development programs as the government trims spending — and employees worry the cuts could drastically alter how the government operates.
These annual training programs — which last anywhere from a couple months to two years — have long been pipelines for hundreds of mission-driven college graduates and career-switchers into full-time public service. They were heralded by the Biden administration, which aimed to bolster recruitment of younger professionals in the face of an aging federal workforce gearing for retirement.
Right there is a big problem: mission driven. Because it’s their mission, not the stated mission of the federal agency. So many want to put their own beliefs, usually far left ones, onto what’s going on. They do not care what Americans want or need from an agency: it is a means to a dogma.
The confluence of the early-career program closures and mass departures means knowledge about arcane government workings could disappear. One result is it’ll be easier to undermine or eviscerate certain functions of federal agencies, said a HUD attorney who participated in the legal honors program.
Excellent. The business as usual garbage needs to go.
Six current and recently fired government staffers — most of whom participated in these programs — say they worry about the future of the federal government as early career program participants receive terminations. Trump and Musk have let go workers who guided years of opaque operational and policy decisions through probationary staff cuts, which also affected mid and late-stage workers who just received promotions. Simultaneously, they have seeded agencies with loyalists looking to undercut traditional government functions they see as bureaucratic bloat.
Change is hard, buttercups. Innovate or whither. If government were a private company they’d be Enron, not Amazon. They’d be Blockbuster, not Netflix. It’s time to get back to working for We The People, not for your own beliefs. Time to stop pissing taxpayer money away. And probably pocketing it. There was a time, less than 50 years ago, when the saying was “you don’t get into government to make money (though the benefits are great). You get in to help people.” Now it’s about being Little Dictators.

It’s been a long time since I touched on how the climate weenies are constantly adjusting temperature data. I’d have to go way back in the archives. How they always seem to change it too look like it is hotter. Sometimes they cool down the past so the current looks hotter. Particularly during the hot 1930s, which they’ve adjusted down. They “smooth” things out. But, it always seems to be in favor of supporting the dogma of the climate cult
Yes, NOAA adjusts its historical weather data: Here’s why
The year 2024 was deemed by global officials to be the warmest year on record — easily surpassing the previous benchmark set in 2023, and warning of a steady and dangerous climate trend.
But where does that data come from? And how are scientists accurately comparing current weather data to information that was recorded decades ago?
The archive of weather data in the United States is recorded by the Historical Climatology Network, a data set of temperature, precipitation and pressure records from long-standing stations around the county, managed and analyzed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
When digging into conspiracies claiming that the federal agency “manipulates” its historical weather data, ABC News’ chief meteorologist and chief climate correspondent Ginger Zee was able to confirm that it was true — but that the routine, public adjustments to records happen for good reason.
Really? If you’re running a news article with “here’s why”, well, that is opinion, not facts
ABC News "Chief Climate Correspondent" @Ginger_Zee says it's okay that NOAA adjusts temperature data "because that's how you do science." ????Actually, no, that's not how science is done.
Adjusting temperature data is not "science" because the adjustments are not and cannot be… pic.twitter.com/nWA2ehd1dy
— Steve Milloy (@JunkScience) February 26, 2025
Malloy’s tweet finishes “…be verified, especially when verification would require traveling back in time.” Exactly. Data is data. If the recorded high temperature (I wish I could find/remember the website I used to find this data) on July 7th, 1934 was 92.3 for Salt Lake City, and then changed to 91.7 90 years later, well, it doesn’t seem like much, but, they make the graphs so it looks scary.
Making small changes shows doom.
Historical weather data is typically collected through a network of weather stations, satellites and other monitoring tools. However, these stations across the country and the instruments used to collect the data vary and have evolved over time, meaning that raw historical data might not always reflect accurate or consistent conditions.
Who makes the decision that the specific temperature recorded is wrong? They certainly do not have an agenda, right? Look, the scale length of a Gibson Les Paul is 24.75″. If you adjust the length the sound quality is off. It’s not correct. The bridge will be wrong. The notes on the frets will be off. Because it is 24.75″. If the temp is recorded at 24.75F as a low, that is the temp. Period.
