Trump’s plan to wipe out US climate rules relies on EPA rescinding its 2009 endangerment finding – but will courts allow it?

In 2009, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency formally declared that greenhouse gas emissions, including from vehicles and fossil fuel power plants, endanger public health and welfare. The decision, known as the endangerment finding, was based on years of evidence, and it has underpinned EPA actions on climate change ever since.

The Trump administration now wants to tear up that finding as it tries to roll back climate regulations on everything from vehicles to industries.

But the move might not be as simple as the administration hopes.

There’s no question that rescinding the endangerment finding would be challenged in court. The world just lived through the three hottest years on record, evidence of worsening climate change is stronger now than ever before, and people across the U.S. are increasingly experiencing the harm firsthand.

Several legal issues have the potential to stop the EPA’s effort. They include emails submitted in a court case that suggest political appointees sought to direct the scientific review that the EPA is using to defend its plan. A federal judge also ruled on Jan. 30 that the Department of Energy violated the law when it handpicked five researchers to write that climate science review. While that ruling doesn’t necessarily stop the EPA, it raises questions.

Well, you know the cultists (who do not practice what they preach) will challenge this in court, but, at the end of the day, the Supreme Court is going to rule, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they do it quickly. And kill the endangerment finding. Seriously, liberals think their insane stuff is never allowed to be ended.

The endangerment finding is really the backbone of the Fascist doomsday cult. It’s really the backbone of the Fascists finding a way to use ‘climate change’ as a way to institute authoritarianism nationwide.

Iran’s Working Hard To Protect Its Nuclear Facility From Potential Strikes

Iran rushes to protect Natanz, its most crucial nuclear site, from potential US strike

High-resolution satellite imagery of Iran’s largest and most crucial remaining nuclear facility shows a recent rush to protect it from potential American or Israeli aerial attack, according to the Institute for Science & International Security (ISIS).

Satellite imagery from February 10 appears to show that Tehran has taken advantage of delays in any such attack since the December 28 protests started to better defend the facility.

The facility in question is a large tunnel complex at Kolang-Gaz La Mountain, aka Pickaxe Mountain, a mountain near the series of Natanz nuclear facilities, which were the center of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program until the Israel-Iran War of June 2025.

Most of the other Natanz facilities, including the existing centrifuges at the time, were destroyed in June 2025, but for reasons that have not been fully explained to date, this facility was not struck.

According to the think tank, the relatively new enormous underground facility is still not thought to be operational, one of the reasons it may not have been struck previously, but there are concerns that it could be used to enrich uranium or even for some kind of clandestine rush to a small nuclear weapon at some point if not dealt with.

If Trump and Israel want to destroy the facility they will. It’s all about denying Iran the ability to build a nuclear weapon, which, let’s be honest, they are not very good at, considering how long they’ve been trying. I mean, it took US scientists 3 years to develop the world’s 1st nuclear bomb, starting from scratch. Iran has been at it a lot longer even with all the knowledge from half a century of countries building nuclear weapons.

They are right to be worried

Pentagon orders second carrier strike group to prepare to deploy to Middle East: report

The Pentagon has reportedly ordered a second aircraft carrier strike group to prepare to deploy to the Middle East in support of potential military action against Iran.

President Trump has not yet given the carrier group the greenlight to deploy, but an order could be issued “in a matter of hours,” the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday night, citing US officials.

The deployment would likely come from the US East Coast, and one carrier is being prepped to head out to sea in two weeks, an official told the publication.

The USS George H.W. Bush is currently conducting training exercises off the coast of Virginia and could be the carrier that ends up deploying.

The warship is capable of launching F-35 stealth fighter jets, which would likely be needed for a strike inside Iran, according to the outlet.

Or, could be misdirection, and ships launch a whole bunch of cruise missiles. Or some B2s drop seriously heavy ordinance. Maybe the F35s simply go and destroy the hell out of Iran’s radar and missile defense systems across the country, then some B52s drop a buttload of bombs. Maybe it is time to go old school and decapitate Iran’s leadership, because, otherwise, the nation will never change. Plenty of protesters in Iran would agree.

The ‘culture war’ on net zero: Why have Brits stopped supporting climate policies?

The UK’s “sense of urgency” on achieving net zero and supporting climate policies has taken a drastic tumble, according to a new survey.

In 2019, the UK became the first major economy in the world to pass laws to end its contribution to global warming. The ambitious target legally binds the nation to bring all greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050, compared with its previous target of at least an 80 per cent reduction from 1990 levels. In 2021, surveys found that 54 per cent of the British public believed the UK government should achieve net zero before the 2050 target. Now, this has fallen to just 29 per cent.

The study*, carried out by the Policy Institute at King’s College London, Ipsos and the Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations also found that the proportion who feel the UK either doesn’t need to reach net zero by 2050 – or shouldn’t have a net zero target at all – has risen from nine per cent to 26 per cent over the same period.

Researchers warn that between 2024 and 2025, support for climate-driven policies such as low-traffic neighbourhoods, taxes on those who fly more, subsidies for electric vehicle (EV) purchases and a tax on environmentally damaging foods have all declined.

At the same time, opposition to some of these measures is now greater than support for them, marking a “stark reversal” of earlier attitudes.

I wonder if the study will jump into why?

Despite the majority of all age groups still favouring net zero by 2050, the percentage of 16-34-year-olds backing the target has dropped from 59 per cent in 2021 to 37 per cent in 2050.

Now, that has to hurt. If the yutes are bowing out of the cult, that does not bode well for the cult going forward. Bummer!

Anyhow, they try and blame the wider culture wars for diverting the attention of Brits, as well as the media focusing less on it. I’d suggest that people have had quite enough of the high taxes, high fees, high cost of energy, high cost of living. That they’re tired of government taking away their free speech, both because of climate cult beliefs and because the UK government has gone quite Fascist. They care more about 3rd worlders and Islamists being imported and given priority over actual British citizens. They do not want to be told what they can and can’t do, what they can and can’t buy, can and can’t eat. Where they can live. And so many more real world issues.

Doing Something about ‘climate change’ plays well in the 1st World when things are going well. When real world issues intrude no one actually cares.

Don’t think the Elites will give up, though. They will keep trying to shove cult business down the throats of the British citizens regardless.

NJ Governor Bans ICE From State Property And More Stupidity

N.J. bans ICE from state property, unveils site to upload videos of agents

Gov. Mikie Sherrill on Wednesday unveiled a statewide portal for residents to upload photos and videos of federal immigration activity as her administration moves to more aggressively scrutinize the work of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Standing alongside Acting Attorney General Jennifer Davenport, Sherrill also announced a new “know your rights” website and signed an executive order barring ICE agents from accessing non?public areas of state property without a judicial warrant.

The ban will also prevent agents from using property as staging areas for operations.

“We have seen dozens, even hundreds of videos of Donald Trump’s ICE agents abusing their power, smashing cars, tear gassing families, gunning down American citizens and violating our most basic rights,” Sherrill said.

When does Mickie take some illegal aliens in herself? She’s not using her regular house, instead staying in the governor’s mansion, right? Anyhow, why did Democrats have almost no problem when Obama was rounding up illegals? Why were there no protests, EOs to keep ICE off state property (yeah, that has zero authority), videos of federal agents doing their jobs when Obama was rounding up and deporting the hell out of illegals, often without court hearings?

State officials have said the database will allow residents to upload photos, videos and information about ICE activity, with the material reviewed by the Attorney General’s Office.

Davenport also signaled she was willing to prosecute federal agents for violations of state law.

Yeah, good luck with that. Good luck getting NJ law enforcement to arrest federal agents doing their legal jobs. Anyway, here’s Davenport, who forgot to mention a few things

““On February 10th, ICE was conducting a targeted enforcement to arrest Jesus Fabian Lopez-Banegas, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras. His criminal history includes drug trafficking charges, drug possession, and driving under the influence.

In 2021, a judge issued this criminal illegal alien an order of removal.

“In an attempt to evade arrest, Lopez-Banegas rammed into a law enforcement vehicle and weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to run an officer over. “Following his training, the officer defensively used his firearm and shot out the tires of the vehicle to stop the threat. Thankfully, no one was injured. Officers arrested Banegas and took him into ICE custody.”

Huh.

Scientists See Growing Risk of ‘Hothouse Earth’ as Warming Gains Pace

Warming is accelerating, threatening a cascade of tipping points that destabilize the climate. In a new paper, scientists say the risk of “hothouse Earth” is greater than once believed.

“After a million years of oscillating between ice ages separated by warmer periods, the Earth’s climate stabilized more than 11,000 years ago, enabling agriculture and complex societies,” said William Ripple of Oregon State University, lead author of the paper. “We’re now moving away from that stability and could be entering a period of unprecedented climate change.”

First, there is no such thing as truly stable. Over the past 8K years we’ve had numerous warm and cool periods, and, since we do not have full world wide data we cannot make an accurate, scientific comparison to previous warm periods. Further, if they have to describe warming as ‘climate change’, all measure of science has been run over by a steamroller.

A decade ago, countries set forth in the Paris Agreement a target of capping warming at 1.5 degrees Celsius. Earth is now likely breaching that threshold. The world has not officially surpassed the Paris target, which will be judged according to the average temperature over 20 years, but the average temperature over the last three years exceeded 1.5 degrees.

“Likely breaching” but not officially surpassed. Uh huh.

Scientists say that the Earth is likely as hot or hotter than at any point in the last 125,000 years, while carbon dioxide levels are at their highest in at least 2 million years. And warming is gaining pace as the ability of the planet to soak up our emissions weakens. Forests that were once carbon sinks are becoming carbon sources as they succumb to fire and drought, while the oceans are losing the capacity to absorb carbon dioxide.

“Likely” is not a scientific measure. They also do realize that life on Earth survived much warmer periods, right? And that the oceans were much warmer and much higher (that’s how you get coral islands), right? Well, no. Not in Cult World.

Scientists warn that the crossing of one tipping point can push the Earth past another, in a domino effect. The melting of the Greenland ice sheet, for instance, could weaken Atlantic currents, disrupting rainfall over the Amazon. A cascade of tipping points could bring about “hothouse Earth,” said coauthor Johan Rockström, director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research in Germany. “Our paper shows that we’re not there yet — but we’re very close.”

They’ve been saying the same thing for at least 20+ years and will be saying the same thing for at least 20 more. Could they tell us when hothouse Earth is supposed to appear?

Trump Called Cops On Epstein In 2006

It should be something that the courts deal with, but, I understand why so many want a full release of all associated with Epstein. How he avoided the full charges, how so many Elites were involved, how elite schools were involved, and, how the Democrats desperately want Trump to be involved. About that

White House: Trump’s Alleged 2006 Call to Palm Beach Police Chief ‘Cracks’ Establishment’s Epstein Narrative on POTUS

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that President Donald Trump’s alleged phone call to the Palm Beach police chief in 2006, wherein Trump allegedly told him, “Thank goodness you’ re stopping [Epstein],” dismantles establishment narratives.

Leavitt’s comments came at a White House press briefing after the Department of Justice released a document from a 2019 interview between former Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter and the FBI.

Per the document, Reiter said Trump told him, “thank goodness you’ re stopping him, everyone has known he’s been doing this,” and Ghislaine Maxwell “is evil and to focus on her.” The document also states that Trump told Reiter he booted Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club and that Trump “was one of the very first people to call when people found out that they were investigating” Epstein. Reiter told the Miami Herald the call occurred in July 2006.

Leavitt said she is not sure whether the call between Trump and Reiter took place, but if it did, it supports what Trump has long said.

“Look, it was a phone call that may or may not have happened in 2006. I don’t know the answer to that question. What I’m telling you is that what President Trump has always said is that he kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago club because Jeffrey Epstein was a creep,” she said.

“And that remains true, and this call, if it did happen, corroborates exactly what President Trump has said from the beginning,” she added.

I’m sure there are lots and lots of big wigs who were involved with Epstein, as he had his hands in a lot of pies, but, were not involved with all the child trafficking and other criminal stuff. Some who possibly had no idea what was going on. And some who realized that something shady was going on. Like, apparently, Donald Trump. And, really, at this point, there’s nothing to tie Trump to the shady, criminal stuff. If there were it would have been released during the latter Obama or Biden days.

(Daily Caller) Maxwell told Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche in August that Trump was always a perfect gentleman and that she never ever saw him commit any wrongdoing. The victims of Epstein’s sex trafficking operation have always denied that Trump acted inappropriately.

You’re not getting Trump. Move on, Democrats. But, there could be other repercussions

The Epstein files might bring down a government. Just not the US government.

The questions about the exact nature of Donald Trump’s relationship with the late financier and sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein that have dogged his presidency in both terms were given fresh life last week when the Justice Department released millions of new “Epstein files.”

Not happening, libtards

The same cannot be said of every country, however. The world leader most likely to be brought down by the Epstein files is not Trump, but British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The files contain some extremely damaging information about Peter Mandelson, a longtime power player in Starmer’s Labour Party whom he appointed as ambassador to the United States, despite the fact that Mandelson’s relationship with Epstein was already public knowledge.

The revelations have thrown the British government into turmoil. Two senior Starmer aides — his chief of staff and his communications director — have already resigned over their roles in Mandelson’s appointment, and a third is likely on his way out. On Monday, the leader of Scotland’s Labour Party, Anas Sarwar, became the most senior figure to call on Starmer to resign. So far, Starmer is defiantly rejecting calls to step down and other Cabinet ministers are rallying around the prime minister, but some highly placed sources reportedly believe it’s a coin toss whether he remains in power.

Quite frankly, it would be great if the Epstein files took down all the authoritarian wackjobs running the UK. The ones supporting crackdowns on Free Speech for actual Brits, the ones importing 3rd worlders and Islamists.

Good News: Trump Allies Have Almost Totally Wipe Out Climate (scam) Regulation

Trump Allies Near ‘Total Victory’ in Wiping Out U.S. Climate Regulation

In the summer of 2022, Democrats in Congress were racing to pass the biggest climate law in the country’s history and President Joseph R. Biden Jr. was declaring that global warming posed a “clear and present danger” to the United States.

But behind the scenes, four Trump administration veterans were plotting to obliterate federal climate efforts once Republicans regained control in Washington, according to documents reviewed by The New York Times and interviews with more than a dozen people familiar with the matter.

Two of them, Russell T. Vought and Jeffrey B. Clark, were high-profile allies of Donald Trump. Mr. Vought, who has railed against “climate alarmism,” and Mr. Clark, who has called climate rules a “Leninistic” plot to seize control of the economy, drafted executive orders for the next Republican president to dismantle climate initiatives.

The other two, Mandy Gunasekara and Jonathan Brightbill, were lesser-known conservative attorneys with long histories of fighting climate initiatives. Ms. Gunasekara, a onetime aide to the most vocal global warming denialist in the Senate, and Mr. Brightbill, who had argued in court against Obama-era climate regulations, collected an “arsenal of information” to chip away at the scientific consensus that the planet is warming, documents show.

Their efforts are now paying off. In the coming days, the Environmental Protection Agency is expected to revoke a determination that has underpinned the federal government’s ability to fight global warming since 2009.

You can feel the crying and teeth gnashing going on at the Times, eh?

In revoking that determination, the Trump administration would erase limits on greenhouse gases from cars, power plants and industries that generate the planet-warming pollution.

Unlike the swings in federal policy that have become routine when administrations change hands, getting rid of the endangerment finding could hamstring any future administration’s efforts to regulate greenhouse gas emissions.

Trump should pass an EO that anyone who supports the endangerment finding should practice what they preach. Let’s see if any do.

Texas Democrat Wants To Local Police To Determine Which Immigration Laws They Follow

Texas congresswoman files legislation to make changes to how immigration laws are enforced

A Texas congresswoman is among those on Capitol Hill who want major changes in the way federal agents enforce immigration law.

U.S. Rep. Sylvia Garcia (D-Houston) has filed legislation to allow local authorities to be able to decide which immigration laws they want to enforce and which ones to ignore.

Garcia spoke to Greg Groogan with FOX 26 Houston and told him the Trump Administration is allowing ICE agents to terrorize communities and violate constitutional rights.

“They’re threatening our cities, they’re just tearing our country apart, trampling over the Constitution. They’re just, it’s just almost abhorrent and unconscionable, some of the actions that they’re taking in Minneapolis,” said Rep. Garcia.

She is aware of federal law that designates such things as our borders, who is allowed to be in the U.S., and so forth? Probably not

Rep. Garcia’s legislation would repeal a key section of the Immigration Act. Garcia described it as the part that gives the federal government authority to mandate to cities what to do on immigration.

Passing it could, in theory, also allow cities to ignore Senate Bill 4 which Gov. Greg Abbott signed into law in 2017. SB 4 requires county sheriffs to honor ICE detainers and prohibits local cities from passing ordinances that forbid police officers from asking about a person’s immigration status during a lawful detention or arrest.

Los Federales have authority regardless, per the Constitution. Local police cannot ignore things like bank robbery and kidnapping, or any other federal crimes. Democrats are just wacko for illegals. They won’t actually take them in and shelter them, of course. This legislation will go nowhere, it just whips up the unhinged base.

Democrats like Garcia are hoping the immigration enforcement fight will carry into the November general election.

She compared the deaths of two people who got into confrontations with federal agents recently in Minneapolis to the Kent State shootings in 1970.

In the interview, Rep. Garcia did not talk about the murder of Jocelyn Nungaray. The 12-year-old Houston resident was allegedly killed in 2024 by two undocumented immigrants who were caught and later released into Texas by officials with the Biden Administration.

Surprise.
