‘Climate Change’ Could Maybe Possibly Be Involved In Explosive Diarrhea Outbreak

I’m only surprised in that it too the climate cult media this long to link the outbreak

Possible Role Of Climate Change In Current Cyclosporiasis Outbreak

It’s been a relatively hot summer in many parts of the United States. The hotter-than-normal weather could have played a role in exacerbating this summer’s clusters of cyclosporiasis, which have now been detected in 31 states. It’s possible that the decades-long trend of rising temperatures globally is contributing to the more frequent presence of diseases more typically found in tropical regions.(snip)

The causal agent in cyclosporiasis is a microscopic parasite called Cyclospora cayetanensis, which can spread through food or water contaminated with human feces. Usually, contamination happens on farms. According to the CDC, cyclosporiasis occurs seasonally in many countries worldwide but is most common in tropical and subtropical regions.

The disease doesn’t spread person-to-person. National Geographic writes that “people get sick around a week after eating contaminated food — most commonly fresh produce, especially raspberries, leafy herbs, and bagged salad mixes — but it can take as little as two days and as long as two weeks to develop symptoms.”

So, really, they’re thinking contaminated with feces. And the el nino is certainly creating a hotter summer

Climate change appears to be altering the timing of recurring natural phenomena, like the emergence of buzzing cicadas in summer. They start making their unique piercing sound about 14 days earlier on average than 20 years ago in places like the Northeastern U.S.

The fuck does that have to do with the outbreak?

Similarly, global warming may also be lengthening the seasonal transmission window of certain bacteria and viruses that cause gastrointestinal illnesses. In this vein, public health experts have long warned that a warming climate could contribute to larger spikes in the spread of cases of diseases such as cyclosporiasis.

It’s July: any seasonal lengthening would have zero to do with July

Up until around a decade ago, periodic cyclosporiasis clusters occurred annually scattered around the country during the summer months. But they weren’t especially large in terms of numbers of cases. The numbers of outbreaks and cases then began to rise, with conspicuous spikes in 2018 and 2019 and now in 2026. Experts attribute the increases to better testing and detection methods but also climate change or long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns.

Last time I checked it is the summer months. Cultist dipshits.

Scientists have formally hypothesized a role for climate change in creating more optimal environmental conditions needed for diseases such as cyclosporiasis to spread. They observe associations between higher temperatures in non-tropical settings and the prevalence of pathogens such as cyclospora. Indeed, cyclospora depend on prolonged outdoor heat and moisture to mature, which makes it sensitive to the effects of rising temperatures.

It’s summer. Dipshit cultists.

House Passes “Protecting Privacy in Purchases Act” For Gun And Ammo Purchases

It is meant specifically to protect credit card purchases for firearms

House Passes Bill Preventing Credit Card Companies from Tracking Gun Sales

On July 14, 2026, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill to block credit card companies from tracking gun and ammunition sales.

The bill, H.R. 1181, passed on a vote of 221 to 201. Two-hundred-and-fifteen Republicans voted for the bill, along with five Democrats and one Independent.

H.R. 1181 is sponsored by Riley Moore (R-WV).

Breitbart News reported Moore’s introduction of the bill on February 12, 2025, noting that he titled it the “Protecting Privacy in Purchases Act.”

He introduced it after major credit card companies succumbed to the gun control lobby during the Biden Administration and made plans to track the sales of guns and ammo.

For example, on September 11, 2022, Breitbart News pointed out Visa caved to pressure from gun control groups and New York Democrats, agreeing to flag gun and ammo purchases via a merchant code. The Associated Press observed that Mastercard and other major credit card companies also agreed to flag gun sales. On March 2, 2023, Breitbart News noted Discover was slated to begin tracking gun and ammunition purchases with the new MCC in April 2023.

Most credit card companies said they backed away from actually tracking the purchases after massive backlash from citizens and Republican lawmakers in 2023. But, did they? Or did they do it on the down-lo as the Biden admin, Democrat politicians, and gun grabbing groups pushed this? Regardless, this legislation would take away the option from the credit card companies. Seriously, though, it should have started with forbidding the government at all levels from tracking and flagging gun and ammo purchases.

Now, though, what happens in the Senate? Will Democrats allow a final vote, or jam it up? Heck, will some Republicans, such as Thom Tillis, who’s been going wacko as of late, vote against it or jam it up?

Over-Heated World Alert: Chilean Ski Restort Closes Ahead Of Blizzard

School kids just won’t know what skiing in the Andes looks like

Chilean Ski Resort Closes Indefinitely Ahead of Forecasted 200-Inch Blizzard

stop global warmingSki Portillo is battening down the hatches.

Only weeks after a lack of snow forced the Chilean ski resort to start the season later than planned, a massive winter storm is set to arrive in full on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

So massive, in fact, that Portillo has opted to close for several days, with no one leaving or entering the resort during the blizzard. The ski slopes also won’t be open for safety reasons.

According to Portillo’s website, its access roads are already closed. The resort said it would keep skiers and snowboarders updated via its website and social media, and through email, but didn’t provide a set reopening date.

The forecasts now emerging ahead of the storm are confounding, eye-watering, and absurd, all at once.

How does over 13 feet of snow before the end of the month sound? That’s how much Portillo said could arrive, according to “reliable forecasts.” Between now and July 24, OpenSnow—a forecasting service popular among skiers—put the storm total somewhere around 200 inches.

If only you had given up your use of fossil fueled vehicles this wouldn’t happen.

There are some webcams operating at the resort, looks like some great snow.

DHS Considering “Public Charge Test” For Immigrants

I’m not sure why this would be “controversial” at all. If you’re applying to become a citizen you must demonstrate that you can take care of yourself, that you won’t be on public support systems

DHS could weigh immigrants’ use of Medicaid, food and housing help in green card decisions

In a move that will place hundreds of thousands of green card applicants under broader scrutiny each year, the Trump administration is allowing immigration officers to consider whether some applicants have used taxpayer-funded benefits — including Medicaid, food stamps and housing assistance — when determining whether they qualify for permanent legal status.

The Department of Homeland Security is poised to rescind a 2022 Biden-era regulation narrowing how officers apply a long-standing “public charge” test — an immigration screening tool used to determine whether applicants are likely to rely on government support — according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officials.

The change may directly affect hundreds of thousands of people applying for green cards from inside the U.S. each year. It could trigger a broader ripple effect if immigrant families avoid health care, food, or housing assistance — even when they or their U.S.-citizen children legally qualify — out of fear that tapping into those benefits could ultimately hurt their immigration cases.

Under existing federal immigration law, some individuals applying for a visa, admission to the U.S. or green cards can be deemed inadmissible if the government determines they are likely “at any time” to become a public charge.

The Biden-era rule, issued in 2022, limited the benefits DHS could consider to primarily cash welfare payments meant to cover basic living expenses and long-term institutional care paid for by the federal government.

They shouldn’t be on any benefits. The US government shouldn’t be bringing in or letting in foreigners who will be a drain on the US taxpayer

The federal government “is reaffirming the requirement of self-reliance, protecting public resources and ending policies that encouraged dependency on the backs of hard-working American taxpayers,” USCIS Director Joseph B. Edlow told CBS News in a statement. “Under President Trump, USCIS is restoring the basic principle that immigrants must be able to support themselves.”

Send them packing.

Study Says Older Folks Should Work Out A Specific Way To Maximize Power

I’ve mentioned before that you should slow the eccentric when lifting, regardless of whether you are lifting heavy or lighter. Now we have this

New Study Finds This Type of Strength May Matter More for Longevity Than How Much You Can Lift

If your gym sessions are all about lifting heavier, you may be overlooking another fitness skill that’s just as important for healthy aging.

A new study published in Mayo Clinic Proceedings suggests that how fast you can move a weight, known as muscle power, may be a better predictor of how long you’ll live than strength alone. After analyzing nearly 3,900 adults between the ages of 46 and 75, researchers found that muscle power was more closely linked to longevity than how much force participants could produce.

Most people think strength and power are the same thing, but they’re different.

Strength is how much force you can produce. Power is how quickly you can produce it.

That difference matters in everyday life. Getting out of a chair, climbing stairs, catching yourself when you trip, or lifting a heavy box all depend on muscle power—not just brute force.

In the study, people with higher muscle power were less likely to die during the follow-up period than those with lower muscle power, even after researchers accounted for age, sex, and other health factors.

What this is recommending is to continue to do slow eccentrics, but do the lifting, called the concentric phase, faster, rather than slow. You don’t have to blast it, but, try and push it harder. So, say, push up hard and fast during a bench press (concentric), then down slowly (eccentric), take 3-5 seconds to do it. Fight the gravity with fast and slow.

Unhinged Canadian AWFL Attacks Teen At NJ Beach, Gets Arrested, Picked Up By NICE

It’s a bad idea to commit a crime when you’re here in the United States illegally (well, it’s a bad idea to commit a crime in the first place, but, you know what I mean). BTW, all liberal women consider themselves to be affluent, no matter their monetary status. They think they’re better than anyone else

From the link

This Jersey Shore offender is on ICE.

A lefty Canadian illegal immigrant was thrown into an immigration detention center after she allegedly slapped a teen on on the boardwalk because she was wearing pro-Trump and ICE clothing, according to cops and sources.

Now her TikTokker husband — who previously posted disturbing videos wishing for President Trump’s assassination and praying for the president’s family to get cancer — is trying to raise money for her legal defense and slamming the “horrible” conditions inside the Delaney Hall ICE lockup where she’s being held.

Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, allegedly confronted a group of four teenagers — including a 16-year-old girl with “patriotic-colored” MAGA sweatpants featuring the word “ICE”  — at the Point Pleasant boardwalk over Fourth of July weekend, according to court documents obtained by NJ.com.

Tracey overstayed her visa and was in the US illegally at the time of her arrest, DHS said Wednesday.

Too bad the mafia no longer runs the boardwalk, they would have put her in her place. Regardless, Pt. Pleasant Beach, a place I’ve been too numerous times when I lived up in NJ, is still a good Republican area, and the cops apparently ran her info, saw she had overstayed her visa (She entered the United States on April 14, 2024, on a visa set to expire on September 6, 2024), and immediately called NICE, no matter what the state law says about sharing information with NICE.

She reportedly video’d herself assaulting the juvenile on July 3rd, cannot find that anywhere, but, I bet Los Federales can. Her husband is whining about her being in ICE detention at the Delaney facility, which they have both protested against, and wants her out. She will be out soon: either because she will be prosecuted in Pt. Pleasant Beach court or Ocean County court, and sent to county jail for a stay, and then deported, or just straight up sent back to Canada

The husband, Matt Geroni, is also a complete moonbat wackjob, as you can read in the article

Geroni said he married Tracey “a little over three years ago” and shared his wife’s arrest with his 140,000 followers in an effort to get her released,  “even if that means back to Canada.”

Well, we’ll see if she spends time in jail first.

On Wednesday, Geroni accused the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department of “lying” about the circumstances around his wife’s arrest.

He insisted the group of teens was causing trouble on the boardwalk, “provoked” Tracey and “pushed and shoved” her, according to the Daily Mail.

He claimed they singled out his wife because she was wearing “punk” clothing that flew in the face of their MAGA attire.

But, weirdly, they do not have video of that. Nor does the PPB police after they scooped up video from the cameras scattered around the boardwalk.

Automated Cameras Shut Wind Turbines Off To Mostly Save Birds

So, they stop the blades of giant wind turbines, meaning they aren’t turning to produce some energy?

Eagles Kept Dying At These Wyoming Wind Farms – Until Automated Cameras Stepped In

While they should go hand in hand, wildlife conservation and clean energy projects often find themselves at odds. In some areas, for example, birds can’t tell the difference between solar panels and lakes, which affects their migratory pattern, and wind turbines are known to cause bird fatalities. To help protect birds — including the protected golden eagle — the Top of the World Windpower Project in Wyoming installed a system of cameras, called IdentiFlight, that detects objects flying towards turbines.

The IdentiFlight cameras use artificial intelligence track approaching birds and, if the bird flies too close to a turbine, the technology will temporarily stop the turbine. IdentiFlight has been shown to be pretty effective. A study carried out between 2014–2019 and published in a 2021 issue of the Journal of Applied Ecology found that the tech specifically reduced eagle fatalities by over 80% compared to a control group, which actually saw an increase over the same period. That’s why it’s been implemented at other wind farms in Wyoming and across the world with the ability to identify hundreds of bird species.

Interesting. The Warmist keep saying that there was no danger to birds.

IdentiFlight technology is a smart idea and effective way to protect birds from dying to spinning wind turbines, but other issues remain. First, while automated systems can prevent some bird deaths, it can’t stop them all. It still matters where wind farms are located, and developers still need to seriously consider the ecological impact on local wildlife (especially protected bird species) before selecting new sites.

Meanwhile, they could pretty much put a small gen 6 nuclear power plant or natural gas plant without killing all those birds

Additionally, even though this technology is good for birds, temporarily stopping the wind turbines is bad for efficiency. Pauses mean lower energy production, especially if they occur frequently. That’s an issue amid growing demand for electricity, particularly since you’d need hundreds of wind turbines to equal one nuclear reactor. Finally, wind farms aren’t the only environmental risks, as Wyoming is also dealing with a Cheyenne water recycling plant that only recently restarted after it was contaminated by a Meta AI data center.

It all sounds very silly and a waste of time and money.

Almost Half Of House Democrats Show They Had Israel And Jews With Vote

Democrats can talk all high and mighty, but, at the end of the day this is really about hatred of Jews

Almost Half of House Democrats Vote to End Aid to Israel

The House on Wednesday rejected a measure to eliminate U.S. aid to Israel, but almost half of Democrats supported the move, reflecting a rapid and dramatic shift within the party away from decades of unequivocal support for the Jewish state.

The measure, which sought to cut all $3.3 billion in military and humanitarian aid to Israel from a foreign affairs spending bill, failed by a vote of 104 to 314, with 10 voting “present,” and all but one Republican, Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky, a sponsor, voting no.

But more Democrats supported it than opposed it, including many who said they voted in favor despite their opposition to the cuts to humanitarian aid. It was the latest and starkest evidence of a major divide over backing Israel within the Democratic Party, which is grappling with a groundswell of hostility in its ranks toward Israel and its conduct of the war in Gaza.

Supporters said the measure was their only way to register their opposition to the actions of the Israeli government in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon, and their desire for a fundamental change in course in the U.S. relationship with Israel.

Yeah, yeah, they hate Israel and Jews, we get it. This is a shift that is 25 years in the making, with the unhinged in liberal colleges now being elected officials, aids, high muckety mucks in the media, teachers, etc, so, now they can push the Israel and Jew hatred they learned in colleges. And now the younger Dems are all up in Jew hatred

“While I wish we could vote on an amendment targeted just to military aid, and of course support humanitarian programs, we do not have that option,” Representative Greg Casar, Democrat of Texas and the chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, wrote in a letter to his members, in which he urged all 98 of them to follow his lead in backing the proposal. “The American people are crying out for an end to U.S. tax dollars subsidizing Israel’s military.”

We are? Only the hard left wacko segment wants that.

In the final tally, 103 Democrats voted to cut off aid while 98 opposed doing so, with another 10 voting “present,” declining to register a position. That amounts to more than half of the Democratic Caucus unwilling to reject a measure that would terminate U.S. assistance to Israel.

Same people supported the guy with a Nazi tattoo.
