The NY Post, exaggerates a little. Missouri has 115 elected county prosecutors. Ray County is the 51st largest county so Ms Camille A. Johnston is hardly a top prosecutor. She’s one of 115.
And Ms Johnston is white and a Repubicun.
In 2024, 74% of Ray County voters went for Donny trump! Just another far-right rural Missouri County.
The allegations outlined in the petition have not been proven in court. The case will proceed through the judicial process, where Johnston will have an opportunity to respond to the claims.
