(Daily Caller) Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez made an unfortunate slip during a campaign stop with Sen. Bernie Sanders on behalf of Kansas Democratic Congressional candidate Brent Welder Friday.

â€œHello everybody,â€ Occasio-Cortez said on a video posted to Sandersâ€™ Twitter account Friday evening. â€œIâ€™m so excited to be hopping on here on Senator Sandersâ€™ account. Weâ€™re here in Kansas City to rally for Brent Welder. Weâ€™re gonna flip this seat red in November.â€

Welder is running against GOP incumbent Kevin Yoder in Kansasâ€™s 3rd congressional district.
