Climate Cult Groups Want Kennedy To Drop To “Honor Our Planet”

The wackadoodles think that Kennedy staying in will help Trump win, which is Bad For The Planet

Environmentalist ex-colleagues demand RFK Jr. drop out of 2024 race to ‘honor our planet’ — fear he’ll help Trump win

Dozens of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s former colleagues at an environmental advocacy group have demanded he drop out of the 2024 race to “honor our planet” — fearing that his campaign will sweep Donald Trump back into office.

The activists’ grievances with the 70-year-old Kennedy will be aired in an ad sponsored by the Natural Resources Defense Council Action Fund that will run in Sunday newspapers in the battleground states of Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Kennedy, the son of the late attorney general and senator from New York Robert F. Kennedy, worked as a senior attorney at the NRDC for nearly three decades.

The ad buy was first reported by the New York Times.

“We have spent our careers fighting to protect the planet and its people. As current and former leadership and board members of the NRDC Action Fund, as well as former colleagues of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., we have one message for him: Honor our planet, drop out,” read the ads, placed to coincide with Monday’s Earth Day.

Kennedy himself is quite the Warmist, but not a full throated climate cult member, so, will this entice him to drop out? Probably not, he wants to beat Joe. He’s still rather wacky on many things, such as vaccination. Realistically, Trump actually saw more action in reducing “carbon pollution” than during Obama’s and Biden’s regimes, without slapping down all sorts of Government tyranny. But, the cultists prefer Biden and his green Fascism, all while most of the leaders still live high on the hog, with their big carbon footprints.

actually 2018 to 2019 saw the first increase in both per capita and net CO@ carbon increase. The USA had(s) been on a steady DECREASE.

    John,
You go on about carbon. Why? We are experiencing climate change, but it has nothing to do with a trace gas in the atmosphere. In fact, we need more carbon, not lead. It is estimated that if we got CO2 below 200 units, we would be facing mass death. So, please show evidence for concern. Oh, the recommendations of high taxes and destruction of our way of life have been estimated to have little to no influence on carbon.

    David
I am simply reporting that carbon emissions in the USA are decreasing and have been for the past 20+ years. DON”T PANIC !!!! Global CO@ is still increasing.
From 1 million years ago until 1950 CO2 levels remained 160 to 300ppm. However in the last 75 years they have as Mr Teach would say “skyrocketed” to 400ppm!! Did this somehow trigger you into thinking that in the future humanity would be subjected to mass death? take a look at this graph and tell me that you do NOT think that man has had something/anything to do with this increase in CO2

Let’s stipulate that these figures are true, or at least reliable, which they’re not.

From 300 to 400 is an increase of 1/3. Maybe that’s a big deal; but it’s probably not, since it’s very, very good for plant life.

The earth is 4 billion years old, give or take. The last 1 million years is one quarter of one percent.

So …how high was it 2 million years ago? 76 million? 1.39 billion?

Even if your figures are accurate …..they’re completely meaningless.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

From 280 ppm to 420 ppm is a 50% increase.

420 ppm is by far the greatest CO2 concentration in at least 800,000 years. Humankind (Homo erectus and later) may be less than a million years old. Human civilizations are less than 10,000 years old. The last 10,000 years is about 0.0025 of one percent!!

The concentration of atmospheric CO2 1.39 billion years ago is completely meaningless today.

The mean global surface temperature has increased nearly 2 degrees Fahrenheit over the past century or so. Unless the CO2 concentration drops the temperature will continue to increase until an equilibrium is reached where the incoming radiation is equaled by the outgoing.

The earth does not have a default setting. We’ll be fine.

          • Elwood P. Dowd says:

As I keep repeating… humanity will adapt and survive!!! It always has.

We will build seawalls. Move and migrate. Raise camels instead of cows as needed! Change crops as needed. Fortunately, the Earth is warming gradually and since we will not stop it, we might as well embrace it!!

Eventually, fossil fuels will begin to run out and will become too expensive in comparison to other sources. We’ll adapt to the changes. Why will we adapt? Because we have no choice!

Regarding a default setting – during the entire history of human development the atmospheric CO2 ranged from 180 ppm to 300 ppm. It is currently 424 ppm and steadily increasing.

CO2 was lowest during the glacial periods, and highest during interglacial periods (such as the current Holocene epoch).

        • Jl says:

“420ppm is by far the highest concentration in the last 800,000 years”. So in other words ice ages end with no change in CO2.
“The concentration CO2 1.39 billion years ago is meaningless today.” Sure it is. Mammals first appeared 55-65 million years ago when CO2 levels were higher

    • Jl says:

Yes, most of the decrease was from substituting LNG for coal. Both obviously are fossil fuels.

    • david7134 says:

      John,
If you bother to read the latest. You will fink carbon rises after the temp. But I am not the least bit worried about the climate. I am concerned that fools like you are attempting to destroy our country.

    • Jl says:

Carbon boy, that would be a correlation, not proof of causation.

  4. h says:

Cultof Trump will next be claiming that the fact that Mr Trum is reportedly claiming of being frozen in his NY Criminal court room is PROOF that the Earth is not warming.

“Temps up 2 degrees or so in last 100 years.” As said, they’ve risen faster and in a greater amount in the past. DansgaardOeschger events (DO events) is one example. “These dramatic DO events were indeed genuine and also large scale climate changes (up to 10 degree temp changes) not limited to only Greenland. Since then, these events have been further confirmed by data from more than 170 locations around the planet, including New Zealand and the Antarctic. The causes are as matter of controversy”. Stefan Ramstorf, a prominent alarmist

    • Elwood P. Dowd says:

      J1,

Do you believe the Earth is undergoing a Dansgaard-Oeschger (D-O) event now?

Any idea how many D-O events have occurred during interglacial periods?

Do you believe the current CO2 levels are sufficient to cause the amount of warming we’ve seen?

BTW, Stefan Rahmstorf is a noted German physicist, oceanographer and climatologist. He has published over 140 journal articles and authored four books.

      • Jl says:

Yes, I know he’s a prominent scientist, which is why his findings are so interesting (there are others with similar findings). How many DO events? You’ll have to ask him. A DO event now? Doesn’t seem like it, as there were larger temp swings with mostly constant CO2 in the past. Which was the point-worldwide large scale warming events at a larger and faster rate than today happened several times in the past with constant CO2 concentrations

        • Elwood P. Dowd says:

          Point taken.

My point regarding Professor Rahmstorf is that he is not an alarmist.
