Marjorie Traitor Greene (R-Budapest) offered the following amendment to a late iteration of the Ukraine military aid bill: “No funding shall be made available to Ukraine unless restrictions on ethnic minorities’, including Hungarians in Transcarpathia, right to use their native languages in schools are lifted.”
This is verbiage used by Trump friend, Hungarian dictator Viktor Orbán and by the Russian disinformation apparatus. This is not to imply that Rep Greene is a Russian agent, only that she uses their figures of speech.
An aside, how would conservatives feel about foreigners in the US insisting on using their native languages in school?
Seems Karen (aka Rimjob) sees no problem in giving away 100 billion dollars to foreign countries.
