I wasn’t aware there were prenatal screens for autism. I learn something new every day. A study out of Taiwan (2020) showed that about half those advised chose abortion. Not everyone has your strength and make a different choice. We had three pregnancies and three children and did no prenatal testing. We accepted life as it came. We’ve been fortunate to have 8 wonderful grandchildren (2 by marriage); one grandson has special needs. Even three great grandchildren (also by marriage)!
I do not support murder in any case. I DO support the right of a woman to make her own choices. I also support the practicality of the state placing restrictions on abortions. Mr Trump has suggested a 15 week ban, meaning after 15 weeks gestation abortions would be forbidden except for the health of the woman.
We are 50% God-worshipping! I came from a nice Baptist family but religion never made sense to me, but I could be wrong. My wife of 50+ years grew up as a Lutheran and doesn’t hate me for being a non-believer.
I believe you are wrong in believing that pro-choice Americans deserve no kindness or respect. This means you hate over 50% of Americans and the majority of women. To me, that seems no way to live, but I could be wrong.
