Remind me again: New York City is a self named sanctuary city, right? Going all the way to 1989 and mayor Ed Koch, they have declared themselves cities which love illegals and refuse to wirk with federal authorities like ICE. They let illegals, ones they know are very bad people, who go on to commit more heinous crimes. But, now that they’re over-run with illegals, but, not as much as border towns, they aren’t quite as accepting
New York City sets up office to give migrants one-way tickets out of town
New York City is intensifying efforts to transport migrants out of the city as its shelter system reaches capacity, setting up a dedicated office to provide asylum-seekers with free, one-way tickets to anywhere in the world.
City Hall confirmed the establishment of a new “reticketing center” in Manhattan as its latest bid to ease pressure on its shelters and finances following the arrival of more than 130,000 asylum-seekers since last year.
Mayor Eric Adams, a Democrat, has described the situation as a crisis and has begun to warn that shelters are so full that migrants will soon be forced onto the street as winter approaches.
“I cannot say this enough. You know, we are out of the room,” he told reporters this week. “And it’s not ‘if’ people will be sleeping on the streets, it’s when. We are at full capacity.”
The city’s plan to offer migrants transportation builds upon previous efforts to send the asylum-seekers elsewhere, though the establishment of the dedicated reticketing center marks a renewed emphasis on the strategy.
That ticket should be to somewhere outside the U.S. Or other Democratic party run cities, preferably ones which have declared themselves sanctuary jurisdictions. How about Albany, the capital of NY, which also declared itself a sanctuary? It’s just another case of Democrats supporting something in theory, but, not happy when forced to practice their beliefs.

Out here in the country, there are plenty of nuisance animals roaming around. Various people have come up with solutions for them from time to time. So much so that it is now illegal to relocate your nuisance animals (skunks, possums, racoons, feral cats, etc) onto someone else’s property. Catch and release is NOT permitted. Seems like the spirit of those laws applies here. If you believe migrants are harmful to your own community, it is immoral to send them to someone else’s community. That New York office should be sending those migrants home, not to somewhere else in America.
