Evil is a subject that many wish to avoid talking about, but there is a lot of evil going on in America today, and almost all is coming from the left. I will settle for saying that whether the Democrats are using Satan to further their agenda or whether Satan is using them matters little. Evil is evil and should be so called. I tried to think of anything of consequence on the Democrats agenda that does not qualify as evil, but I failed.

TOPLINE Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov Tuesday criticized Tucker Carlson’s ouster from Fox News and implied that it reflected a lack of support for free speech and differing viewpoints, amid public job offers made to the former primetime host by Kremlin-controlled outlets.

Lavrov made his unprompted remarks about Carlson’s exit during a press conference at the United Nations on Tuesday, while criticizing the U.S. for denying visas to Russian journalists.

Pivoting the conversation towards the state of “freedom of speech in the United States,” Lavrov called Carlson’s exit from Fox “curious news” and even asked: “What is this related to? One can only guess.”

Lavrov added the move means “the wealth of views in the American information space has suffered.”

Carlson has been a vocal critic of the Biden administration’s decision to support Ukraine in its fight against Russia’s invasion, and clips from his now-canceled primetime show have appeared regularly on Russian state-run outlets.

Does that answer where the anti-American Carlson will end up?

    Who said it?

“Why do I care what is going on in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia?! And I’m serious. Why do I care? Why shouldn’t I root for Russia? Which I am.”

Republicans working hard to reverse child labor laws.

Sanders’s (Sarah Huckabee, AR Gov) spokesperson, Alexa Henning, told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, “The Governor believes protecting kids is most important, but doing so with arbitrary burdens on parents to get permission from the government for their child to get a job is burdensome and obsolete.”

The new law, called the Youth Hiring Act, will eliminate the requirement that children aged 14 and 15 seeking a job acquire a document issued by the director of the Division of Labor, which includes the child’s work schedule and a description of their work duties, as well as proof of age and parent or guardian consent.

Sanders signed the bill just weeks after the Department of Labor released the results of an investigation that found 102 children aged 13 to 17 illegally working dangerous jobs like cleaning meat processing equipment. Ten of those children were working at facilities in Arkansas, according to the investigation, and 25 were working in Minnesota, another state considering looser child labor laws.

America needs workers! Republicans see the opportunity to use immigrant children to do the jobs Americans won’t. An added advantage is their small hands for cleaning equipment. This is Amerika.

How does acquiring a document issued by the director of the Division of Labor help children? It only creates another gubmint job pool. Allowing kids to get jobs is great for kids. But you’d rather create dependent slaves of the state. Figures. If you’re not killing them in the womb you’re training them to vote communist.

      • Elwood P. Dowd says:

        CarolAnn,

Do you recommend abolishing all gubmint regulations?

Yes, Communist regimes were famous for their protections of children.

You also approve of children working mines in Africa? And children being drafted into militias? The U.S. militaries currently have a lower age limit of 17 (with parents permission). How low would you go? Would you give your 15 year old daughter permission to be all she can be and join the Army?

        Figures…

And don’t you advocate for gubmint control of women’s reproductive cycles?

Red state legislatures are falling over themselves passing 6 week abortion bans!

So one day abortion is murder but on the day before it’s not? How arbitrary is that?

Anyway, starting from the first day of a woman’s last menstrual period and counting 42 days later is the outside limit for obtaining an abortion. Of course, on average ovulation occurs 14-15 days after the start of menstruation and fertilization typically occurs within 24 hrs of ovulation.

The process of getting pregnant in a 28-day menstrual cycle is:

Day one: First day of your period.
    Around day 14: Ovulation occurs.
Within 24 hours of ovulation: Sperm fertilizes an egg (conception occurs).
About six days after fertilization: The fertilized egg implants into your uterine lining (this in when hCG starts being secreted, the hormone of pregnancy detected in urine by pregnancy tests).
Around day 21: If conception and implantation occurred during this menstrual cycle, you’re pregnant. However, getting a positive pregnancy test may take another five to seven days.

So… aa late as day 28 a woman may know if she is pregnant. But of course, most women won’t check until their first missed period (unlikely any earlier than day 28 after the first day of her last menstrual period).

Red state legislatures should mandate daily pregnancy tests for any women who’s menstrual period is “late”. The legislature will need to define “late”; perhaps 7 days? Ten days testing should be sufficient to determine if she’s pregnant. That’s day 45.

Why is it legal to murder a baby from day 21 to 42 day old ‘baby’ but illegal to murder a 43 day old baby? Many pregnant women don’t know they’re pregnant at 42 days!!

… the legislatures should stop playing games and just, for once, ‘man up’ and ban all abortions. Period. Why don’t they? Because it creates enforcement problems for them. Allah (God, Yahweh) murders the majority of fertilized ova (babies) by the first menstrual period after fertilization. How on Allah’s green Earth would abortion forces determine if the woman or God murdered that poor baby??
